I
recently
enjoyed
a
phenomenal
late
morning,
early
afternoon
at
this
treasure.
If
you’re
looking
for
well
marked,
wide
trails,
beautiful
scenery
or
a
mix
of
shoreline
and
wood,
this
is
the
place
for
you!
It’s
not
a
strenuous
hike
but
you
can
make
it
fairly
long.
Take
a
left
onto
the
beach
from
the
trail
leading
to
the
boathouse
and
walk
west
to
the
point.
You’ll
enjoy
a
clean
beach,
clear
water
and
stunning
views.
From
the
point
you’ll
see
Stamford
CT
across
the
sound.
You’ll
also
see
New
Riches,
Co-op
city
and
some
of
Manhattan’s
taller
buildings
way
in
the
distance
-
maybe
35
miles.
Crazy!
Note
that
there
is
a
paved
trail...great
for
cyclers
or
those
not
so
sure
footed
on
gravel,
dirt
or
sand.
