😠 On 11/13, I sent an email to request that they cancel an appointment I had booked for 12/1 and stated that I wouldn't know when I'd be able to come in again, so to please cancel instead of rescheduling. I received no response. Today, I called to follow up on my request, as I hadn't seen a credit in... People often mention experience, float, feel, sauna, recommend, time, request, highly, great,

On 11/13, I sent an email to request that they cancel an appointment I had booked for 12/1 and stated that I wouldn't know when I'd be able to come in again, so to please cancel instead of rescheduling. I received no response. Today, I called to follow up on my request, as I hadn't seen a credit in my account. I was first told that someone had received my request but never followed up to let me know, but credits were available and I could reschedule whenever. I didn't and still don't want that, though, so I asked about a refund. I was then told I'd get a call back after a check-in with the boss. No real surprise, request denied. I didn't read the waiver or agreement closely enough to see that a request for a refund must be made within 5 days of an appointment cancellation, and I missed that window because I didn't know it existed. Even though I requested a cancellation more than 2 weeks ahead of the appointment. I know "cancellation" isn't the same as "refund," but it would've been nice for them to clarify the difference after they got my email. I know they have a lock-tight system in place for a reason but I really felt mishandled here, so here's my review. Clean facility, but I think the way business is done here is still a little dirty. They win, though. Those credits are just gonna sit there 🙂 Edit: lowering my review to one star after receiving the owner's response. They confirmed that I should've received a confirmation of the cancellation request but that never occurred. Furthermore, the policy as set is too rigid to be reasonable and I think it's shady that they appear to encourage staff to upsell future visits after a customer finishes a session. If it had been made more clear to me how difficult it is to receive a refund within a reasonable window, I never would've booked ✌️

We recently visited Om Floatation Therapy in Jersey City. We were both in need of some relaxation, and this place did not disappoint. As MD Meets Techie, we document our travels on Instagram at @mdmeetstechie, and we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and calming experience. We opted for the couple's package, which included a sauna and floatation. The sauna was trippy with its lights and music, and it helped us unwind before the float itself. The float was magical - I found myself swirling into thoughts about all aspects of our lives, including our time together, the past, the future, and more. The tank itself was clean and well-maintained, and there were glowing light installations that were soothing to the eyes and helped us relax. Showers and towels were provided, and the staff was very helpful in guiding us around the place. One thing that would've made our experience even better is if there was advice on what best to do with your mind during a float - for beginners, this might really help. Despite this, we highly recommend this as an activity couples can do together, even if it means you'll be in separate tanks. Overall, our visit to Om Floatation Therapy was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning in the future. If you're looking for a relaxing and unique activity to do with your partner, we highly recommend checking out this place.

om.life just opened around the corner from me and so gave it a try since I had never tried floatation before. What a great experience! Such a relaxing escape! The place is beautiful and really well designed. Took a few minutes to get registered and then went to float room - smartly set up with everything needed in place. After showering and getting in the pod it took a little while to get used to it. The controls were easy to use - music and lights. I ended up turning off all the lights (which made it pitch dark) and the pod is pretty large ( I could not reach any side even fully stretched out) - after a few minutes it really became a surreal experience and hard to describe how cool it is - total weightless, perfect temperature and complete dark. Afterwards I spoke with the owner Anand for a while - super nice, welcoming and knowledgeable! They also have cryotherapy (will try next time), Normatec pressure boots, infrared sauna and a very nice lounge (with the best tea ever)! Definitely will be back soon! Highly recommend it!

I feel like I need to warn y'all. Do not buy any service form this place. They are willing to steal your money and hide it behind *credits* I was gifted a float and massage. Couldn't do the float since my skin was way too sensitive and the system was literally burning my skin. Did the massage that was great. Even tipped $50 Figured I'd come back later another day. So I ordered another service. This time I paid for its Fast forward one week, I emailed to cancel. I will be leaving the area and can no longer keep my appointment that I made for two months from the purchase date. They refuse to issue a refund and want to keep it as credits. This is not how you do business or treat customers. Also their "lounge" is non existent. Just a bunch of empty computer boxes. There was no where to sit. Not worth the price they charge for any of their services.

My husband and I are on cloud 9 after a couples infrared sauna session and a float earlier today. I’m feeling soooo good!! Self-care is so important and Om Life is the perfect place to get started. I’ve done floats, saunas and normatec treatments in the past. I always feel incredibly relaxed and refreshed. Staff is friendly, everything is always clean and I love the complimentary tea on my way out. Can’t wait to check out some of their other therapies and offerings. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

I went in for a 90 minute massage today with Nao. It was probably the best massage I've had in years. She has strong hands, which was great for the deep tissue massage. Communication was great. She was very thorough with my priority areas (shoulders and upper back) and guided me through my breathing as she worked my knots out. Highly recommended!

This was my first float experience and it was amazing! Not only did I feel completely prepared by the staff and enjoy the comfortable setting of it all, but the one-hour floating was deeply nourishing. At first it was fun to get in and begin floating gently across the water. But then after perhaps 5 minutes, I began to feel a deeper sense of calm come over me. As suggested, I turned off the lights and soft music to experience the benefits of sensory deprivation as well. As I chanted Om to relax my mind, I fairly quickly entered a deeper state of relaxation. As I continued to relax deeper and deeper, I had some very meaningful insights come through. By the end of the one-hour, I was so relaxed I felt like I was still in a sort of floating state and naturally took on a very slow pace. I continued to feel deeply relaxed into the next day. And the overall peaceful state feels like it opened a new neural network in my brain that I can access when I need to relax. I highly recommend the experience at Om.Life!

Just had a tranquil infrared sauna with my husband. We love the whole experience. Everyone is so personable, offering you yummy tea on your way out. Beautiful energy, what you hope for in a spa, wellness center. Also a great date night!

What an amazing and professional wellness center this is. It has that super clean, but not sterile vibe. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to answer any question you have and makes you feel like you’re part of the family. I really don’t know what service to mention first because I’ve tried the float tanks, infrared sauna and cryotherapy and they all rock! Not only does it feel like a spa, but this facility is also super beneficial to help people heal naturally when dealing with an array of issues. Dealing with PTSD from my deployment to Afghanistan, I can tell you firsthand how therapeutic flotation therapy has been for me. Not only are you being healed physically, but the mental release of stress you get while floating is something no pharmaceutical medication can do. This place helps you heal and you can have such a fun time doing so at Om.life!

I did the CRYOSKIN facial and the toning on my stomach, and the results for both were amazing! My face instantly looked smoother, and I instantly had more definition on my abs! Anand conducted the services, he was very professional and explained exactly what to expect. The spa was also clean and inviting, I will be back!

First time I did cryotherapy and it was amazing. Yesterday I decided to do Floatation Therapy and it was incredible. Each time I was greeted and felt at ease before each experience. Thank you, Violet for the warm welcome and the entire professionalism my entire visit.

Shower not available. For the price you pay the least they could provide is a shower. Shower stalls in large sauna filled with junk.

Would highly recommend cryotherapy, sauna and floatation tank. Once you try them, they will become an integral part of your self care regimen.

Did it today for my hubby’s bday. He’s been wanting to try it for years. I’d give it 5 stars but I think it’s still up and coming for spa like service. It was cool to say the least but it took a while to get comfortable. We both were unsure using the head noodle as it’s not really strong enough to keep your head out of water so it was a little stressful at first. We then felt a little rushed as the fire alarm for the building was going off right as we got into it so we were unsure of what to do. The flashing lights were very distracting and we both thought something was malfunctioning so we were hoping to get some more time offered but we didn’t. Thought that was a bit of a miss. Also thought the plan was to hang in the lounge afterwards w some hot tea which would have been really nice on a cold rainy day like today but we weren’t offered that. Hope to try it again sometime and maybe it’ll be more relaxing?! Overall cool concept and hope to see more sometime.

My wife loves coming here. Really enjoys the different classes available. Best to be dropped off or take an Uber because parking can be challenging.

I loved om.life since the minute I stepped foot in their spa! I've been coming here since 2018, and it is truly a cutting-edge spa with true healing technology, and a place where you can feel taken care of and at peace in the midst of the city. Anand and his team are all wonderful, knowledgeable, and takes great pride not just in the aesthetic, ambiance, cleanliness and customer service, but the total customer experience. I've done infrared saunas for years, also recently experienced their new EES system- and have never had a deeper sleep! I've also experienced their cryo and other therapies and always feel so refreshed and taken care of being here. THANK YOU for al you do!
