A hidden gem in the Pine Barrens. Best to go on a weekend day if you want to check out the general store. Also, look for information in frequent events, including many nature walks. If you're at all interested in NJ history, agricultural history, or just want a beautiful daytrip to see something new, check out Whitesbog. It's also a wonderful place to celebrate a pioneering woman who gave us the modern blueberry.

Fun place. Not too many people around so social distancing was very easily done. It's a nice place to go if you like nature, history, the woods and so on. I enjoyed myself and was with great company.

Place is beautiful small store which was closed when we visited but they served local jams and honey . They had some map but it was a little confusing . Garbage and recycling cans should be put in the main parking area so if you plan on bringing stuff in have yourself a bag to put it in when your done.

The blueberry festival was perfect. Live music, good food, craftsman, authors and artists...and Alpha Rabbit played live.

We went here for the annual blueberry festival. Plan to arrive early as parking fills up FAST and items such as blueberry wine and pies tend to sell out. Thankfully, I can make my own pie, so no need to worry about that, but the wine is fantastic. We only spent 2 hours or so wandering around, the worst problem is parking/leaving. They need more attendants to direct people and block the road. It's a ONE WAY direction and many people were turning in the out and blocking others from leaving.

👍 We took the Blue route. Almost a straight line. The blue route is almost 3 miles one way. Marker just stops, we went a bit further to make sure no more blue marker and then just back track. There are two parking area. Nice walk/hike, saw some people/w dogs and cyclists, all were friendly.

😐 Update on 1/12/2021: Today I stopped by this area to explore the lake only to find out that besides the broken parking area, there was a flat area you may park though it didn’t look like a parking lot. And from there thru the boardwalk, there is a viewing deck. Yet downed trees were blocking the sh...
