295J should be your new home! The amenities are fantastic: gym with a cardio room and weight room, study room, rooftop dog run and a parking deck if needed. A pool with multiple grills during the summer as well! The Liberty State Park light rail stop is in front of the building but the community is so quiet that you never hear trains. The apartments are clean with nice flooring and finishes. The staff made the move-in process a breeze and they're extremely friendly on a daily basis.

We just moved into 295J and the leasing process was excellent with the assistance of Taylor and Sean where they went above and beyond showing us the whole community. Cory did and amazing job helping us with the moving in , apps, Internet service etc being super responsive. All the receptionists at the front desk were super helpful.

Here are some of the actual positive experiences that I had that were pleasantly surprising: - Management and Maintenance teams go above and beyond. Often apartment managements “loosen up” after signing the lease. I had the best move-in experience at 295J, resolving every single concern the day of. - Maybe this depends on the neighbors but very quiet and peaceful so far. Haven’t heard noises inside the apartment from other neighbors - Really aesthetic halls and smells nice too - Very close from the light rail station and the Liberty State Park

Looking for apartments can be very tedious and stressful. However, if you're looking for a proper management that ensures proper rules are followed for the safety and comfort of all residences, as well as extremely quick maintenance (never had to wait past 24 hours with reasonable issues), then this is the ideal place. I have been living here for a year now and I can assure you that the most important are the ones on the front lines, the ones that greet you first. Yassine, Angelica, and Monaquay are basically the foundation that supports the structure of having the right environment to live here. Their warm and welcoming personality, good vibes, and ability to go above and beyond to assist everyone, makes a massive difference residing here. Overall, i would rate this 5/5 due to the fact that having excellent management/service far outweighs any minor cons, but I will list the pros/cons here for convenience. Pros: To reiterate, nothing better than having amazing front desk staff members to represent 295J in all its glory. There is a fairly spacious swimming pool in the courtyard and BBQ grills/fire pits, available at operating hours. You can't reserve the courtyard to yourself which is good, so you will always have access to the amenities if it's not occupied. Management and staff are friendly and follow up within reasonable time. No need to wait countless days for a response unlike some other management companies. This also includes maintenance, especially Caesar, who reacts extremely quick to requests/repair issues and goes far and beyond the scope of assisting others. Rules and regulations are enforced so there is better control and understanding, as well as ensuring the comfort of all residents overall. No theft of packages, they are either placed in the amazon locker or in a secured room. They are all under surveillance and if there are any issues, management takes immediate action. Gym is very spacious and everyone is attentive enough to know how to clean up after themselves (some other buildings' residents don't know how to be like a normal adult ~ like, damn child, act responsibly~). From my perspective, this is a big difference because living here gives you a sense of a respectful community. There are families living here (can be good or can be bad, depending on your unit location and if you are used to the usual noise level of kids). I'll occasionally hear them in the courtyard but never at quiet hours or directly above/next to my unit. A second hand effect is that this can also give you a better sense of security of having families reside here. Cons: It is a luxury apartment; however, it's not as luxurious as what I'm used to (used to the tall rise condo buildings so my bar was already raised). Ceiling is thinner, like majority of other buildings within the vicinity (the only difference is if the construction of the building has a higher steel to wood ratio). That means you can hear people upstairs easier and people that walk past in the hallways. I am lucky to have surrounding neighbors that are quieter and only hear small sounds for a few seconds. Plus, this isn't really a party building and quiet hours are enforced anyways. That's all folks, have FUNNNNN ~

Currently live here and absolutely love it! Friendly staff (made the move smooth), nice apartments and amenities, great people that live here, and located directly across the Light Rail. I was worried about moving from Manhattan to JC, but this place has exceeded my expectations.

My partner and I toured 295J recently and immediately fell in love with the building. We toured a few residences in the area and 295J was by far our favorite. We were quickly greeted by the Reception desk, who were incredibly kind and welcoming! We then met Taylor, one of their leasing agents. Taylor was warm, personable, and VERY knowledgeable about the building. She had an answer for all of our questions and ended up helping us find our PERFECT unit! The building is clearly well-maintained, the staff are incredibly nice, the amenities are WONDERFUL, and the building is directly across the street from the Light Rail. Couldn't be more excited to move in and big shout out to all the staff we met!!

Coming up to 3 years living at 295J! Such a convenient location in Jersey City with Liberty State Park and the Light rail station across the street making it an easy commute to NYC. Amenities can’t be beat! Everything is clean and well taken care of. My highlight is the study which has working stations and is always quiet when you need a work from home set up!

295 Johnston is a great apartment. Taylor Smith from their leasing office has been very hospitable and professional! I highly recommend anyone moving apartments in the Jersey City area to consider this and leverage Taylor's expertise in the same!

Great experience for my first luxury apartment! Amazing amenities like gym and separate cardio room with peloton bikes, roof top dog park with NYC views, the pool area feels like a resort in the summers, easy commute to NYC (about 20 mins) and the staff are so friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

I lived here for a year and it was a wonderful experience. The front desk staff are really friendly and welcoming especially Angelica, Yassine and Jazz. They are just genuinely good human beings. The management team also are top-notch and were really helpful. The amenities at 295J are great; well-equipped gym and the courtyard pool/grilling area. The maintenance team (esp Mack) is amazing as well, the few work orders I had were always dealt with promptly. I decided to move out due to construction noise in the area as my apartment was facing that side, otherwise would have loved to continue there. My move-out process was smooth as well.

This building is very cheaply made. No soundproof ever! I use to live in apartments 532 and dog run was right above my apartment. People with their dogs running on top of your head any time of day, sometimes in midnight. It was a torture. If you move to any apartment on fifth floor in the corridor under dog run be ready your sealing and walls will be shaking from people running on top of head. I had to breach my lease, because I couldn’t not take it anymore. Management is nasty and don’t care.
