Today I was GREETED by the OWNER accusing me of leaving a bad review. I was signing in and he swore he had evidence that I used a fake name/photo and left a bad review. I was caught very off guard as he came at me in a very aggressive manner. I answered him and told him I did not leave a bad review (because I did not) and made it very clear he was in the wrong. He then realized he was attacking the wrong person (he should not be attacking any CUSTOMER who left a bad review, he should be asking why and how he/the gym can improve). I asked him to show me the review, as I have never left a review online in my life (besides right now) and he responded “I do not need to explain or show you anything.” Horrible, horrible, horrible ownership (the rest of the staff is great). Attacking a customer is never the answer in any situation, let alone being completely wrong about the situation and never apologizing. I feel bad for the staff who has to work under an owner who cannot take ownership. Outside of that great equipment and the rest of the staff is lovely.

The gym is in a pretty convenient location for people around the area to access. With 3 floors and an outdoor area to do some crossfit or cross training, it does fits the needs to get a basic workout. The facility and equipment does need some serious updating. A lot of the equipment is very old, rusty, and has seen some decent usage. Cleaning can be better than the little spray bottles and paper towels. The carpets and mats are probably from the early 2000's if not the 90's. The layout is awkward as some of the equipment is to close to move around or adjust the weights properly.

Lot of equipments are really old and rusted. Some elliptical machines are not at all good. No one cleans the machines they are always dirty with so much dust and dirt sticking on them. All the mirrors in the gym are broken and have huge tapes stuck on them. The top floor where there is place for mat workout is always dark and has no ac. All the yoga mats are very dirty.

World Boxing Gym has been a true disappointment. Not only does boxing barely take place at this gym, but equipment is outdated and they have ridiculous rules in place. The workout environment here is really bad and the management is poor as well. Several of the front desk employees are very rude too. My husband and I have had a membership here for over a year and when we decided to cancel it recently, I called the gym asking how to go about cancelling my membership. The employee I spoke with told me I didn't have to do anything besides tell him, which I did. He assured me I would not get charged for any future payments. Well, he was wrong. We were charged for 2 more monthly payments so we called the gym back and were told we were supposed to notify management in writing that we wanted to cancel our memberships - something the first employee we spoke with never shared with us. Now, they refuse to give us our money back for the last 2 months. They are grimy just like their outdated, nasty equipment and environment. The only good things are Tom at the front desk plus Patrick and Justin as trainers. Unfortunately, as a whole I cannot recommend World Boxing Gym to others.

Will never return you cannot help an encourage you’re partner with any heavy bag work or pad work. And are forced to pay for overpriced trainers. Was not offered a refund at all. Out of all the trainers that force you to Pay Ralphie is the most aggressive.

30-40% of equipment is broken, another part is rusty and outdated. People don't take off weights after using and nobody's care. Every time you want to work on you legs, you'll first spend time to take off 200+ lbs weights. Woman on reception is rude and impolite.

The best one around the area. Pros: month to month membership Cons: gets very crowded for the space. Some machines are outdated or they do not have them. Also, they need more squat racks and a proper hip abduction machine. As any other average gym, some machines are too big for women. I will keep going here tho. It is the best one around for the price. Gets the job done.

started boxing here when I was 9 10 yrs old when it was called Rocky Marciano from playing at Roberto clemente. One the trainers saw us boxing outside and gave me a couple free classes, let me come to gym box trained me for free. He passed away, I remember crying when i heard the news, couldn't train for free anymore but still holds a place in my heart

The gym is pricey but I got partially reimbursed through my health insurance which made it worth it and the reason I joined at that price point. The gym has a lot of equipment on both floors. Good amount of free weights and cardio equipment. The other perk is the boxing ring and bags, which some gyms charge you extra for this. Definitely a plus if you'd like to add a different type of cardio to your routine. I've only been during morning and afternoon hours and some Sundays as with any gym those seem to be the best times. Definitely recommend this gym if $$ isn't an issue

Great place, lot of equipments, yet enough free space to move around(unless you are in the busiest hour when most people converge and you run into people). Spread across three floors, never have to wait for another person to finish workout on a machine.

What a great no frill gym. Keeping things simple and very clean. Staff is very nice. Especially that Guz kid. Making things simple.

Old school gym but is clean and has everything you need. Parking lot in that area of JC makes it very convenient as well. Professional staff and friendly people. You also have the option to sign up on just a monthly basis.

The dumbbells are always thrown around, equipment gets moved or broken constantly and no one seems to care. For how much it cost you would expect so much more.

I highly recommend World Boxing Gym. The price is competitive, and the boxing coaches are patient and have a very strong understanding of the sport and emphasize teaching good boxing technique in their classes.

Classic iron gym. Plenty of worn machines but still in fine condition. Dumbbells up to 120 lbs. One squat rack one Smith machine two squat platforms. Deadlift barbells and weightlifting barbells. Reasonable prices. The people here are very friendly and polite.

Would be a better gym if they FIXED THE EQUIPMENT (Cables on 1st and 2nd floors all suck), missing hooks for the weighted-machines; tightened the ends of the barbells so they don’t feel as if they’re moving on their own! People are nice though, good vibes all around.

Overall, very happy with the gym. Pros: Month-to-month memberships. Local parking lot!! Towels. A LOT of equipment that dudes often want (benching, squat racks, deadlift stations). Punching bags Open access yoga studio (as long as there isn't a class) That sled pushing thingy (1st time I see a gym have one of those) They sell wraps Cons: None so far. I've been coming here now for over 3 months and I haven't had any negative experiences.

My experience with World Boxing Gym has always been a stellar one. This organization has taken the immediate steps in caring for their membership during this COVID-19 period. I would recommend this facility to anyone wanting to further their health and well being.

Do not go to this place if you want to spar or compete. The trainers are only going to waist your time and money. You gonna get hurt. They’re only good for the basics and cardio.
