Great hang on Fridays and Sundays with Winard Harper. I really love Mrs Moore. One day I came in and she told me all about the history and showed pictures of all the people throughout the years. I really enjoyed my time with her that day. An amazing experience through and through

This place is quaint and a neighborhood gem. The atmosphere and people are delightful.The drinks are strong and the finger food is delicious. I am hearing about different themed nights that they are going to start doing there like after work socials giving the surrounding business owners a place to unwind. I even heard they are having a paint and sip. I recommend you stop by and try it out for yourself i think you will agree that it is the place to be. S.S.

A wonderful newly renovated club in the heart of Jersey City that features Jazz at least 2 to 3 times a week at affordable prices. The owners and clientele are friendly and warm.

This is hard because I remember Moore’s before the remodeling, when it was a hole in the wall, dusty, it had character and was filled with characters, with the feel of all its nearly 50 years as a local watering hole with music. It’s cleaned up now, but fortunately the music every Friday and Sunday is still excellent. The charm of attracting both young and old people to enjoy a great time together listening to and performing live music will make this place special for another 50 years. Wanna play, wanna sing, wanna dance? Bring your axe and ability to swing to Moore’s any Friday night.

Neighborhood hidden gem! I've walked, driven past this spot too many times to count and did not know what was inside. A friend found it online. They had a really cool live jazz session. You have to see it to understand the vibe. Will definitely come back.

Come here if you want to listen to some great jazz jam sessions. The star of the night is always Ms. Mary Aiken when she comes to grqce the stage with her presence and voice. Ms. Ruther, the owner, has a heart of gold and loves serving her community. Come for some good drinks and live music. Friday nights are best.

I’m new to jersey city from New York. I didn’t start listening to jazz til the lawyers at my job put me on and also a classmate in college. I fell in love with it because it calmly got me through my entire day. I wanted to experience it live but had work and school and would be worn out by the time I got home. Now since COVID and at home I thought to stop by, seeing that they were setting up. I seen the sign meet the artist I thought it was art it was a jazz event. I felt the love in that bad area. I was told when I moved here don’t go towards this area because it was bad. It was labeled because of the African AmericanS and Latinos And lack of resources. I don’t judge people for wat they have or look like. Well I was safe, the fried fish that old school taste, the sangria was just for me, and the kindness. Truly rare I hope the community continues to grow with them, because I do. Thank you for that sweet memory, 9/19/2020.

I had my husband's 50th b-day party there last sat n everything was great Ms. Ruth is a blessing I can't thank her enough for allowing us to celebrate that milestone and thanks to Kim n Randy for all their help and pleasant vibes. Can't wait till the next one!!!!

Jazz! JAZZ! Jazz! An absolutely amazing evening with superb jazz and no cover charge. A very special spot that should be in the limelight. I highly recommend Sunday nights. Show begins @ 8:15.

It is absolutely pretty and stylish inside. With great clean bathrooms and a super long bar. I didn't taste the food but the drinks were good. The bartenders are sweet and bring cash. The highlight is definitely Jazz Sunday. It's pretty awesome.

This is a great place for jazz and jam session. The updated space creates a fabulous ambiance. Awesome staff and musicians.
