My date and I saw two mice running around on the floor by the table we were eating at yesterday. It completely ruined the mood. My date no longer wanted to eat the food neither did I. We let staff and management know but nothing was done. 70% of the food wasn’t eaten and we took it home but threw it out. Really felt I wasted $120 last night and ruined the mood of my date. Steak was fatty. Corned bread (which I bragged about prior to arrival was cold). Benefit of the doubt we were one of the last tables. Kimchi was outstanding so were the wings but granted we didn’t eat much of anything. As for the mice I understand that happens in the restaurant business but for management to say “sorry it’s because of Eagle Rock next door” isn’t acceptable. It made me feel it was a common occurrence that makes me question if I want to eat there/report it to health department. I hate to be critical of this restaurant since it was my favorite spot. I’ve been coming to Cellar 335 for years. I would often talk it up and recommend it to everyone. They should do better though… end of the night or not standards should be met.

The girls and I got together to grab dinner. Our reservations was for 7pm. When I arrived I found parking on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted and gave the lady the name on the reservations. She sat me and the place is pretty dark inside. It had very interesting decor but it was cool. Tony was our server and he was so nice. I didn't drink for the night but my friend enjoyed her drink. For meals the mussels (special), avocado rice, fries and branzino were ordered. When everything came out, the food was piping hot and looked great. I tasted everything minus the fries because it had bacon in it. The mussels and branzino were very good. The avocado rice had some kick to it and wasn't bad. The girls really enjoyed their meals. The bill was decent and we definitely enjoyed our time.

Everything was exceptional!! The ambiance is definitely a cellar lounge jazz vibes. Cozy and comfortable. You can definitely get lost in time especially with the upscale drinks and tasty food and deserts!! We will be back very, very soon to try other options!! Last, although it may be a small touch, but the cold water for me was perfect. I usually need ice and lots of water when I’m eating. Didn’t need ice or to hound the water for refills!! Awesome service from every member of the staff!! You can tell the team works well with one another!!

I usually never hang out in Jersey but my friend wanted us to explore Jersey City. We just wanted to have good cocktails. We googled and found this restaurant. The menu online looked exciting so we decided to check it out. The restaurant is underground like a basement setup and it was very dark, dim lit inside. I ordered Tropical Passion and my friend did Dancing with the Sharks for cocktails. They were extremely sweet, felt like we were drinking fruit juice. My friend notified the waitress and instead of her offering to either add more alcohol or remake it, she said it was a balance mix of alcohol and juice and there was nothing she could do. My friend then ordered an extra shot of rum to make it stronger but it didn’t do anything lol. We gave up on the drinks and decided we will go else where for drinks. Now food: we ordered shared plates consisting of peppered beef, avocado fried rice, shrimp and garlic sauce and Chinese broccoli. The whole food was a hot mess. The only tasty food was the shrimp and garlic sauce with bread. The avocado fried rice was manageable but pepper beef was salty. In summary, we had food poisoning. As soon as I got home I threw up all the food, my vomit had all the broccoli and rice. Then I had diarrhea and pooped all day. My friend threw up and pooped for three days straight. Our experience was a disaster and I will never recommend this restaurant. I’ve inserted the pics of the food and drinks below.

i don't know why it took me this long to go to cellar 335 when i live so close. the food is so hard to choose between. we ended up sharing a few things - the edamame, avocado rice, pepper beef. you can tell they use fresh ingredients for all their food items. we saw the bao buns and chicken wings go to other tables, and definitely will be trying those the next time i go. drinks were also delicious / unique.

Wow this place is special. We walked in for dinner on a Friday night and was able to find seating at the bar. I’d suggest reservations if you want to sit at a table. We ordered the spicy cornbread (amazing) and shared the drunken chicken noodles along with the chicken baodown. The food is A+ all around. The vibe of the place is fun - the interior is draped in string lights and fun lamps. Highly recommend.

Cellar 335 offers an amazing atmosphere, especially when decorated for the holidays. The shared drinks are a must try and they have something for every palate. The drinks also come in very decorative vessels that look just as cool as the drink tastes. The shared plates are also a treat. We had the Shirt Rib Bao Buns, Broccoli and Shrimp and Garlic. Each dish was great to shared and left us very satisfied. Our server, and the other servers for that matter where attentive and were just a step away whenever we needed anything. The servers were knowledgeable and Guided us through this very different culinary experience

I went to Cellar 335 with a friend of mine and it was our first time going. We saw a post on social media about it so we wanted to try it. We arrived around 5:30 on Thursday and it was pretty empty so we sat at the bar. The drinks were good and the mocktails were just as refreshing and tasty! Dan, the bar manager, was wonderful at explaining the menu and very quick with getting you anything you need! The food was the star of the show. Each dish touched a different part of your palate and it wasn’t too heavy so you could try many different dishes. Portions of food are like appetizer style, the biggest portions were of the drunken noodle and bao buns. The drunken noodle was 10/10 (and can be made vegetarian - just order without chicken)! The DJ started at 8 PM and played a mix of pop, rap, Caribbean, and some older club music. 10/10 would come again.

Inside is very close knit, which is fine because most great things come in small places! The atmosphere is very chill, and the food comes in small plates which can be shared amongst the table and is well seasoned and cooked. The short rib bao buns were the best things on the menu, the avocado rice is a must & also the Korean bbq wings were so crunchy but the sauce was everything. &&&&&& you definitely need the spicy corn bread in your life- thank me later.

Only came for drinks once, but I definitely want to come back and try their food. Their drinks are incredible and made with love! Dan is an awesome bartender. If you get a drink made by him, you already know it’s gonna be tasty 😋

Everything was good. Good portions to share and the atmosphere was great. My only issue was the drink in the tiki glasses… it was 90% mint leaves, 8% ice and the rest actual drink. Very cute presentation but would be nice if at least half of it was actually a drink, especially for that price. Overall good experience though.

Beautiful tasty cocktails! Good vibes, great warm service, tasty food. Good spot for hanging out with friends, pretty fun experience 🤙🏻🌺 *currently reservation is required, but if you are lucky you might still be seated without a problem by their sweet host. *

The service is great but the prices are too high for what you get. The shishito peppers were small and kind of plan, couldn’t taste any goat cheese. The short ribs were really fatty. The spicy cornbread was good but it was $6 for two small pieces. The drinks were also OK. The place is dark and has a cool vibe but I don’t think I would come back, I think I can get better options for lower prices in the area. Might be fun to come here for a happy hour but otherwise it’s not really an ideal spot for dinner.

Drinks and food were delicious as usual!!! What I was unhappy about was the service. 9:15 was our reservation time, and we were legit rushed out of the restaurant. The waiter forgot our drinks order more than once. He brought our check without even asking us if we wanted desert or anything else. Doesn't make sense to offer reservations after 9 pm if you're going to close the dining room at 10 pm and want guests to leave. Hope this does not happen next time I go because I am a repeat client.

This is a really special restaurant. We went here for dinner and drinks before a show next door, and we were totally blown away. They have carefully crafted cocktails and huge food portions, with options for everyone. Also very attentive service, our waiter was so nice! We’re definitely coming back.

Super unique and fun atmosphere! The food was delicious - especially the wings. The drinks were also good. The milkshake drink was small, but strong!

Went here after seeing they had a holiday pop-up on a Friday night. The place itself is quite a vibe- all decked and with a great atmosphere. They served holiday themed drinks (they were cute and tasty but heavy in the ice) The food was the best part tho. We got the cornbread, cauliflower, shrimp and garlic, duck and short rib bar buns. Everything was tender and fresh. I literally scooped the garlic sauce in spoons. The only average thing was the service, attentive at first but then disappeared for the last 30 minutes of our meal.

We love cellar 335! The food is always so flavorful and delicious. We've come here many times and it's consistently great. The pork belly buns are one of our favorites. The kimchi rice is great. Don't get me started on the bulgogi. Ambience is perfect. Excellent service, Highly recommend!

Great vibe, great food, great service! What more can you ask for? Our server Ali was very attentive and our favorite dishes were the chicken tikka meatballs and drunken chicken noodles (although everything we ordered was fantastic)! Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Came here for an early dinner with a friend. The place was decked out in holiday decorations and was adorable. I got a delicious cocktail and my friend got a mocktail. We shared an order of buns and the bulgogi lettuce wraps. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was top notch. Can’t wait to come again!

I’m so sad, I’m such a picky eater & loved, I mean LOVED it here (every few weeks) and I will not be back. The menu has changed - drunken noodles not good anymore, the avocado rice was so salty and the veggies added did not mesh. I use to get the wings to go working in jersey city … BLAND. Still super crispy which is amazing but the flavor was barely there. Best thing here is the bartender Cheyanne ! & service, not attentive with 4 of us at the bar & 7+ staff members floating.

Excellent staff and attentive to the allergy of dishes and sauces. Thank you! Strayed off with the Brussels sprouts. Get the crispy Pork Belly BAO Bun! Grab some cocktails and yum! 😋

Loved this place. Randomly picked Cellar 335 for my cousins bridal shower after party it was definitely a hit. The drinks were amazing. The bartenders were absolutely awesome. Will definitely return!

The food is incredible — I can't stress this enough. The shrimp and garlic dish tastes out of this world. It comes with tasty bread, so you can scoop up the delicious garlic sauce. The avocado fried rice and the Korean-style wings (we chose the lime-soy option) are excellent choices too. I have a sesame allergy, and the waitress was accommodating, guiding me through what I could and could not eat. The chef even offered to tweak one of their options so that I could enjoy it. Great place and excellent service. I'll stop by again soon.

Food was delicious and drinks were amazing. Only issue is portions for both food and drink were small but again absolutely delicious. The pork belly bao was EVERYTHING. Customer service was great as well!

I knew nothing about this restaurant prior but let it be known that I am obsessed with the aesthetics and great service that was provided. I had a reservation on a weekday evening so it wasn't too busy but there were decent amount of people. My friend and I both ordered one drink - I regrettably don't remember the names but I will say they did not disappoint and the drinks are served in cute on-brand cups so I'd def suggest ordering a drink or two here. The server recommended to order like family style so these were the following orders: - Cellar Fries: not crispy, more like potato wedges - Tika Masala Chicken Meatballs: well-cooked and sauce executes exactly how it is described, delicious - Crispy Pork Belly: Love how they separated the ingredients for us to have the control to put together our buns, it also allows it to taste more fresh! I was very full by the end of my meal and loved the unique mix of cultural foods - well executed. 10/10 would recommend!

Loved the decor, the servers were super nice and attentive and the drinks great. They were happy to accommodate special drinks requests and recommend alternatives for drinks that were out of stock. Reasonable prices too.

Service was sufficient and quick Food was tasty, its a tapas style menu, so to get all you want you have to order each item separately. It can add up, however items are reasonably priced. Drinks were great!!! Ambiance was romantic and had that modern day speakeasy vibe. We truly enjoyed our time there along with our food and drinks! Definitely recommend for date night or group of friends.

Our waiter Raphael was so very pleasant and attentive. The food was great! Especially the wings. We pretty much tried different things on the menu and I have nothing bad to say! The host in the front had such a beautiful aura about her. Everyone greeted us when we arrived and when we left. I recommend everyone give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed! Drinks were good too!

The food and service at Cellar 335 is awesome. The atmosphere was perfect with fun music. Food tasted so good and had a variety of dishes. We had the drunken chicken noodles ,Hummus and chicken bao shared between 4 people. The cocktails were delicious and worth the price. We have been coming here from past 3 yrs and quality is still good 😊.
