This place used to be good but is absolutely disgusting now. I received a wet burger completely well done when I asked for medium....Look at these pictures. There’s even a pool of water in the packaging. so disappointing. Never ordering again.

Burger was pretty good. I had the Mac n cheese burger. I wasn't disappointed and would order it again. It could have used a little more flavor but was overall good. The Cajun fries were good. Fries were not included with burger.

Staff is great but food has really taken a dive in the last couple months. Most recent order included a burger with pickled jalapeños and sautéed mushrooms; instead of pickled jalapeños they added raw ones, there were no sautéed mushrooms whatsoever (even though they were paid for) and the meat was both dry and lacked seasoning.

This has to be my favorite place to get a burger ! The temp is always perfect and ALL of the burgers seem interesting so; I've gotta do what I've gotta do. The mac&cheese bites are the best. And if you're feeling feeling them next time you return FRIED MAC PATTY on the burger.

New review 2023: This is my go-to burger spot. I go there usually once a week. I kept my original review because I mentioned the hangover burger. After many years of fighting, I finally have it on the full time menu. It is THE BEST burger in Jersey City. Not shaming any other restaurants because we have great options but if I could only eat one burger for the rest of my life, it's the hangover (technically called "the hangover cure" since it was a new years day special but I like the name hangover. I've had about 20 friends come with me to try it and they all say it's amazing. I also think they have the 2nd best wings in Jersey City if you get the dry rub. I can't say everything on the menu at LB is the best, but I can say that if you show up and get the dry rub wings, and the hangover cure with onion rings, your belly will be happy. Also their strawberry margaritas are amazing. Original review from like 2018: I've never had a bad experience at Left Bank. When they had the Hangover burger (my favorite they ever have), I ate it 6 days in a row. Today's was the Mac and cheese one. Definitely not a bad bite. However, if you want the best thing on the menu, go for the Muenster Mash.

Having had had my fare share of gourmet burgers across many places and states over the years, Left Bank Burger is by far what in my opinion has the best tasting burgers! You won't be disappointed. Along with their typical burger menu, each week they have a current champion burger and a challenger burger. That keeps new variety in different burgers fresh week after week! The atmosphere is nice, the drink menu is great, staff is super friendly. And the sorrounding area is filled with social life, and other chains of bars, desert, entertainment, etc. Truly my favorite burger place!

First time trying here per my friend’s recommendation - 10/10 would come again! Menu looks superb, ended up going with the Mac Daddy Burger with fries .. holy smokes! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had hands down

An excellent dinner. We loved the different burger options. And as someone who does not eat beef, I very much appreciated that even the signature burgers on the menu could be ordered as other patties. The fries were also delicious and we loved the molten lava cake dessert. Thank you!

Finally tried Left Bank Burger Bar and it’s been on my list forever! Went in a group of 4. We all ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was just okay and didn’t have any salt so we added it ourselves. The chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce were so yummy! I customized my burger and really liked it! However it was massive and I couldn’t finish it and it wasn’t that great the next day. I do think it’s great when you have it at the restaurant! Definitely will go back here soon! PS. They also have great veg options. Two of my friends were vegetarian and they had good veg appetizer options and you could substitute any burger with the black bean patty which was apparently great!

Was craving a burger so we looked up burger joints and Left Bank Burger popped up. Cozy place with great drinks and burgers that melt in your mouth so good. Oh and the side salads were very fresh and tasty with great options to choose for dressing. 10/10 will definitely be coming back anytime we’re around the neighborhood!

I've been to left bank twice, both times I've really enjoyed their burgers. I've had one special and one build your own. The special was a champion which was a French dip burger. It was so juicy and flavorful. Some of the menu items sound a bit much and definitely can't eat them all the time, but they sure are a nice treat!

Great food & Great service. Had the dry rub wings which were exceptional. Also had the Munster Mash burger - big & juicy with bacon perfectly crispy without being burnt and topped with garlic aioli and fried Munster. Outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Alright burger joint. Drinks were well made and ambience is nice. Nothing that stands out. The quality isn’t the issue, I’m just not blown away by the options. No parking and it’s a busy neighborhood in the heart of Grove.

This was my first visit. I appreciated the service and the atmosphere. I would go here again. I had the Macdaddy I enjoyed the burger and everything around it. But the fried macaroni and cheese on top's flavor was a bit innocuous for me. I think it is hard to maintain a strong cheese flavor while giving it that firm consistency so it doesn't squirm out of the burger bun . But I would happily go back in, try more burgers and even recommend this place. Try it!

Decent burger joint, short wait times & generally good area to grab a quick bite amongst grove st plaza. You get what you pay for coming here, only thing more I can say is I wish the location in harborside was active.

We went here just because it was the closest burger spot when we got hungry, and it exceeded out expectations. Burgers were really good, not overcooked, good quality ingredients, choice of craft ale beer on tap. I would visit again.

Great for lunch or late night! If you want to know which way to go for a burger, "Go Left" right into Left Bank Burger. Their curated burgers are can't miss creations, but feel free to experiment and build your own with their quality ingredients. Will be back (and have been back) again. 😋

Not the same anymore. I used to come here once a week with my daughter and her friend after taekwondo practice. The burgers were good and my daughter loved the kids meal which was a burger and fries. I have been recently and was disappointed that the kids menu is no longer available, which I thought was odd because almost every other family there had a child. The regular burger is too big for little kids so i had to just get her an order of chicken tenders from the appetizer menu. Also they took Swiss cheese off the menu and thats usually my go to cheese with some mushrooms and onions. I would recommend this place to a friend for a date most likely. The atmosphere is cool and trendy. The bar is fun to sit at and order some drinks All around its a good burger place just not very family friendly without kids menus.

The food is great but sadly I’m trying to avoid plastic and they do not respect customer requests for no ustensils and no sauce packets. I had 2 plastic forks wrapped in plastic and no less than 9 ketchup packets in my bag….this is a home delivery, I own silverware. I will no longer order from them for this reason

It's an $18 burger, give or take. But dang if it isn't almost worth every penny! Besides the build your own burger option, all their specialties are delicious in their own right. The 'burger battle' specials are often the highlight of their menu, so I'd recommend trying. The wide draft beer selection is a nice compliment to their smaller menu as well.

Good burger spot with quality meat - salads are surprisingly good here and appetizer selection is good. I think a good lunch spot. Ambiance is not the best but if you are looking for a reliable/different burger for lunch then you can’t miss here. Note: they don’t offer things like coffee which is a little strange I think

Tried their honey chicken burger, fries and Choco lava cake. The burger was good, the cake was amazing. A decently priced place in good location.

First time here.. Unfortunately I did not order a burger but I did take a few bites of my husband's and it was amazing. Extremely juicy and flavorful. J did order the chicken Caesar salad which was delicious. Lots of chicken!! Nachos and Disco fries were very good also. Next time will definitely get a burger.

The burger is so good and surprisingly not heavy nor oily for it's size. I got the bankrupt burger and it did not disappoint

Been meaning to come here for ages and so glad we walked in for lunch. Lovely, attentive but not thirsty, buggy service and a great selection of beers on offer. My Meltdown burger was excellent and I had the best onion rings in an age. My partner had the Bankrupt and salad. We will return as their disco fries and chili cheese fries look good too, I want to create my own Mushroom Swiss and Happy Hour looks perfect! A perfect corner joint for Chilltown, most definitely worth a visit!

We visited this establishment while on vacation to NYC for several days. The food was great, as well the customer service and ambiance. In fact, it was so good that we returned a few days later. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if we are ever in the area again. Highly recommend!

So I had this spot on my list for a while and decided to give it a try. I called in my order of the veggie burger with a side of the bank sauce and french fries. It came to a total of $14.06. When I arrived I parked illegally in the front of the restaurant. I went in and it was a cute bar and grill. I told the lady my name and she handed me my food and I paid and left. When I got in I ate and the fries were good. I liked the bank sauce with the veggie burger. It was a good topping. The food was pretty good and I would like to try this spot again to try more items.

Have been there twice. Best place to have burger. Must try their chicken wings with rub flavor. Love it so much and I still thinking about their wings everyday.
