Zeppelin Hall is a great beer garden with a lot of outdoor and indoor space. They offer a variety of beer, cocktails and wine options. They have quite a few beers on draft too. You also have a lot of food options from the classic large pretzel to wings to sausages. They also have many large screens if you want to watch games here.

The outside was very nice, the food was horrible. The friend chicken cutlet was vold and over cooked the pretzel was hard, potato salad had a very strange taste to it The bathroom colors are horrible along with the very strange light in the ladies room its very hard on the eyes and you need a few minutes for your eye to adjust to it. Definitely a one time visit for all of us.

I always like to come here on a chill night! On Saturday’s they have a Dj too so you can dance. They have lots of rooms and an outdoor area. I think it’s a great spot for groups. The food is pretty good too. I would definitely recommend going here, it’s a staple jersey city spot!

Nice concept. We love beer gardens. Beer was great. Food is subpar and not the reason to go there. Party atmosphere. I'm sure the weekend is hoppin'.

Have been to this place so many times, not sure why I never reviewed. This Biergarten is probably one of the best in NYC, Brooklyn, Hoboken and Jersey City. I’ve been to several and they either range from clumsy, loud, pretentious, dingy to you name-what-you-like. This place beats all of them hands down in terms of open space, beer selections ( I have to admit post covid it’s bit less than usual), sports live telecast from Soccer, Football, Basketball, Baseball to Ice Hockey, pick up your food from the counter. This is a very large area and you can really have a fantastic time with friends. Went there during Oktoberfest they had the roast, the live bands, Bratwurst and Beers

Great place to grab a beer with 1 - 50 friends! Came here while living in NYC & when across the street (and never heard the noise which is great!) Have been to several parties here & hosted one myself (pictures reflect party trays). Lots of good food and selection of bar packages. Staff are friendly. They have pig roasts in the summer! FYI - it was closed most of COVID and eventually opened for a couple days a week in the summer of 2021. Impressed they managed to stay open for being closed for over a year!

You can't go wrong with Zeppelin! This massive beer hall provides a solid selection of German (and other) beer along with a delicious menu! Not only is the indoor space large, but Zeppelin's outdoor area is also very spacious. Finally the outdoor remains open when it's chilly but there are tents and even a fireplace to keep you warm. Pro-tip: You won't go wrong with an order of pierogis! 🥟

Authentic and delicious sausages with sauerkraut. I wish they would give you Bavarian mustard to the sausages, otherwise really tasty! The gigantic Pretzel was soft with a good taste. Unfortunately it's buttered/oiled outside which reduces the nice taste of the Pretzel, but I can still recommend it. The beer selection is good and they offer Hofbräu beer from Munich from the tap which is definitely worth trying! It's a self service restaurant, hence the low rating on the service. The people were all very friendly though.

Not bad but service slow and many beers on tap they were out of. Place could use a bit of fine tuning and maybe just more clean. Could be a 5 star easy.

Great atmosphere, fun for adults and kid friendly! Food are drinks are great! Bathrooms were in rough shape on a not so busy evening. I think they changed the sauces that you get with the pretzel. I remember a cheese sauce and spicy mustard. Not sure what we got, but I miss the old sauces. 😕 . Can't wait to go back, it was a great night out with my husband and our baby!

I went there with my friends, on Wednesday night 7/21/2022. Had a few beers (a good selection ), but then we decided to get food. The kitchen close at 10 pm, when I went over there to order it was 9:50, and they turned me around. “ we are close “. I was upset but fine. A few minutes later a few different companies of people came back with “ beepers “ from the kitchen which means they were able to order food. So I went back to the kitchen staff and ask, what happened, kitchen staff make a very sorry face and say we sorry, things happen. “ But know we are close for sure “ “ sorry “. So kitchen staff is very lazy or they just decide who they want to serve. I can’t believe it work like that and actually good bar. So now I’m sitting hungry and angry and people from both sides of me are eating ….

5 mins of standing at the entry before the bartender tells us to seat ourselves. 10 mins of sitting and waiting for service just to find out that it is self service. I was first in my party of 4 to order and the last to receive my order after having to enquire about it. When I did get my order, naturally it was cold. I would not recommend. Here's a picture of a beer.

Lots of space. Good beer. Not too pricey. Super straight. Good place for a large gathering where you can hear each other well.

Haven't been back in Jersey City for quite some time. This was the perfect spot for our High School reunion. Very casual and chill. We all met up after 22 years. Drinks were good and fast. Bar food was good. Awesome staff.

Never going back !! The staff needs to learn some manners. We were on the bar and by mistake dropped the tissue box , suddenly all the bar tenders became very rude and stopped taking our orders even when we said we were sorry and it was a mistake. They even told us that they will hold our card with them which was with them. It totally spoilt our night and we had to leave early. We were out there to enjoy our Friday night but had to experience such an insult. We are neighbors to Zeppelin hall but never going back there !

The beer is great and olenty of games to play. Very laid back atmosphere. The food is OK. There are interesting items on the menu like the grilled cheese pretzel and tomato soup. There is no wait staff and the trays are huge (like a typical biergarten), so they can get very heavy. I'd go back, but maybe eat first.

Bartender Patina was the most knowledgeable of the beer selections and always had a smile when serving. Jager Schnitzel Chicken was delicious!

Look, if you’re looking to host a big casual birthday gathering that consists of adults and kids in JC, go for it. It has a big open outdoor space, as well as indoor. When it comes to beer, for some reason, they’re always out of something on the menu. Food is okay. Your kids will certainly enjoy it. Indoor space is dark and a bit dated. Toilet could definitely use some cleaning and better lighting fixtures.

This place is a great outdoor and indoor beer garden in Jersey City. The food was surprisingly good. The burger and wings were delicious. It's very dog and children friendly. They had live music which was also nice. And if you don't want dogs or children around you, the place is big enough where you can sit far away from them. Definitely recommend it when it's a nice day outside.

It's a casual place with tons of outdoor and indoor seating. You walk in, show ID, then go to the bar to get drinks or to the food counter, through the double doors. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day! The food was so good and so was the beer.

We went on a Sunday evening so we almost had the place to ourselves, but I could see the potential for a great Friday or Saturday night. Great beer selection and the food was good for what it was. They offer a ton of games you can "rent" by depositing an ID.

Casual, plenty of space indoor and outdoor. What a rarity in a city that lacks space. Walk up to the bar to order your drinks. Friendly service. Order your food inside. Free parking at their large parking lot. Look up Zeppelin Hall Parking lot.

Huge and I mean hugeee beer garden. You can go with a really big group or it’s appropriate for a nice low lit date night- subtle light music, good vibes, knowledgable bartenders. GREAT variety of beer

Fun place. Indoor outdoor. Parking was stated as easy to find but we drove around and got a street spot. Long tables and evenly spread out, live music, chill crowd, tasty beer and food. Will go before it gets too cold again. They have sweet indoors spot. Bartender was friendly.

Love this beer garden. Great place to gather friends in group safety. Many different beers and great place to watch sports game! Also amazing BBQ food.

This place has a great outdoor area with a lot of seating and it has a partially enclosed area with fire pits during the winter. They have a large and very beer menu and a Good food menu. Overall the drinks and food are pricey, but that's something you expect when you're eating downtown

Bartenders were fine if not a bit understaffed for a busy weeknight. They’re knowledgeable about beer but the outdoor section at least needed at least one more bartender. Food was ok.

Its a great beer place with different environments to hang out. You have the option to be outside as well. They have a decent variety of beers and food. Food can take 30-40 min to be done so be patience.

Enjoyed myself at a graduation party held here at the Hall! The food was so good, the entertainment was enjoyable and the staff was as attentive as they could be but it seemed to be shortstsffed Parking sucks but it was still overall a fun time@

Been here a few times during happy hours after work and very casual environment. Just nice large long wooden benches where you just sit and enjoy the day/night. Food is BBQ variety food from wings to ribs and pulled pork, brats. A big variety of IPA and lagers. Prices are moderate good. The bartender can make mixed drinks as well. Has an European beer garden feel with the decor.

The lady who was serving the bar outside last night was extremely rude, I paid my beer with apple pay signed the receipt and was taking the money from my wallet to tip her, before I could finish she told me if I don't tip she wouldn't serve me anymore and that I should go to the bar inside, she didn't even let me explain and talked to the other bartender not to serve me too, however the girl from the bar inside was very lovely…I understand people works for tips but there’s a different way to go after it without being like this! Be safe out there people! Peace!

I was very disappointed in the Halloween this establishment hosted on 10/29. I came to this event with such high expectations of having such a great time. I worked hours on my costume as the mad hatter, not to win but to be able to participate and be included. We arrived at 9:30 pm and I asked about 3 different employees what to do to enter the contest. No one knew anything. I asked the photographer what to do and she told me to just wait and that someone would come around and give me a wrist band. I waited till about 1am to ask one more time and she said the same thing. 1:50 am rolled around and contestants were already on stage, so I made my way to the stage and asked the DJ what I could do to get a wristband. He then told me that all the wristbands were given out already. I asked him at what point between 9:30 and 1:50am was this because no one ever came around. He said sorry I don't make the rules. He didn't even me a chance to at least stand there or anything. I understand rules are rules, but the amount of praise I received for my costume, I didn't even get a chance. Not one person was able to make something happen for me. At least say oh no you didn't get a ticket but your costume is amazing lets just have you stand up here and see what happens. I'm just very disappointed. Really took the wind out of my entire night.

The snacks were great and I had a fine time with my friends. The spicy appetizers were a fun treat. The parking lot is a short walk but convenient. The bathrooms could use a bit of TLC but worked well enough. I'd go back for sure.

The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars and not 1 is because the place is cozy and the vibes are good. But don’t go there for food. I’ve never in my 33 years of life had a worse burger. It was burned(and I asked for medium rare), the patty looked like something made in a lab straight from a nightmare. Asked for pickles instead of onions, of course they gave me onions. There was this little piece of lettuce that looked like it’s been through war. My husband got their special 3 patty burger, which was extremely fatty and just flavorless. Fries were dry as my grandmas feet. I mean absolutely terrible food. Definitely not going back. And btw these people saying “food is great” have clearly never left the comfort of America and have not developed their taste buds properly.

Huge beer hall with multiple beers on tap plus fully stocked bar. The outdoor setup is good, but has lots of little kids on the weekend playing in the rocks and dirt. Smokers dragging as well. The TVs make sport watching really good

Great atmosphere in the outdoor beer garden. Good place to meet friends and have a drink. The food is mediocre, not bad but nothing special. Outdoor area is dog friendly. Overall, I recommend this place as an outdoor bar

We hosted a party for about 100 people. The event planning staff were so easy to work with and flexible as RSVPs changed. The space was perfect, the wait staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend!
