Stopped by for brunch. The wait wasn’t too bad, was seated in about 10 mins. Service was prompt and casual. I had the eggs Benedict which was alright. Bacon was average. Also ordered some hummus which was a tad bit on the salty side. Prices was reasonable and you’ll definitely leave feeling full. Service seemed a little hectic, probably because they were understaffed. I’ll have to come back and check out some of their entrees for dinner which looked delicious but I didn’t order for brunch. The brunch menu is your standard lot.

This place is such a hidden gem, in the middle of Grove street, you will get hooked! (Ouzi has a vegan option, their lamb tajine is the best thing in the Western Hemisphere) enjoy!

This restaurant reached beyond its expectations. The Lebanese and French cuisine sufficed taste, texture, and appearance. Not to mention the Moroccan lamb tajine that hit the spot! This place is also byob! Good drinks and amazing food, a must try restaurant!

Absolutely delicious every time! Have never had something we didn’t like. The staff is incredibly friendly, food is fresh and amazing. Can’t beat uncle momos! I could eat it for dinner every night and not get sick of it.

A good brunch place in Jersey city. You can do BYOB here. Spend a lazy afternoon with great food and liquor of your choice. We ordered a falafel wrap which was good and had a decent side portion of fries. The beet hummus was extremely good as well. Their pita is extremely soft and fluffy.

One of the most delicious falafels I ever had. Not dry, not oily - just right. The menu lists gluten-free and vegetarian options, and the friendly staff can help finding vegan options as well. Lots of choices in a tasteful environment. I especially enjoyed the Tintin wall - I grew up with those Hergé comics.

Amazing experience! The server was super sweet and attentive. The food was incredible. We ordered 3 appetizers and the salmon for 4 people and it was delicious and filled us up pretty well (see pic). I love trying out new things and through these yummy dishes I feel encouraged to keep doing so. I highly recommend being open to new taste. Even if you think you won't like certain ingredients, like beets or hummus, give it a try! They take those ingredients and spice them up in such a way that they will take your taste buds to new heights. Love it and highly recommend it. 👌

The food was absolutely delicious. Super authentic and well prepared. We sat outside and it was lovely. Our waiter was friendly and helpful in answering questions about dishes and his suggestion was spot on. I will definitely go back again!

The freshly baked pita here is amazing! Recommend their sandwiches or” pitzas”. Also enjoyed their more standard brunch options and the much-raved-about lamb tajine. Really lovely spot!

Great food and service. French Lebanese cuisine. Unique and different. The desserts had a unique flavor. Not to my liking but just different and unexpected. Not bad. Just unexpected flavors for me, personally. Service A+

This is genuinely one of the best culinary experiences of my life. The food is so refreshing and perfectly seasoned. Try the tunesian eggs + meat (they give you lamb meatballs omg) and the crème brûlée for a sweet finish. I will be returning to New Jersey specifically to eat this food again. Bless!

The must: fresh pita with hummus or Labne. Moussaka with lamb or beef (juicy soft eggplant). Ouzi with lamb. Chicken Tajine. Try order the pita one by one, finish them when they’re still hot!

A great casual sit out place with some great Mediterranean food mix . The Tajine is truly amazing. Must try … in-fact the rice in the filo baked is so fresh that it crumbles when u knife it to reach the fragrant and lightly spices rice. The team is extremely friendly and helpful …. Love the Tin Tin painted on the wall …. Fete Du Timbre . Typical bistro vibe . Must try it … sit out side if the weather allows .

Amazing food. Definitely best shawarmas in town. We ordered both the beef and chicken and chicken was hands down my favorite! Also great babaganoush. Highly recommend.

Uncle Momo is so cute! Perfect little cafe for indoor or outdoor dining on a gorgeous corner. We ordered a cold brew and cafe Mocha and both were delicious. The coffee was very strong and delicious! I ordered the Momo breakfast which comes with two eggs over easy, pita, a side salad, potatoes and hummus labne and Tabbouleh. Everything was delicious and so fresh and it was a different, fun way to enjoy! I've had the eggs benidict here as well and love it! Our waiter was exceptional as well!

One of the best mediterranean restaurants I’ve been to. The portions were huge and the quality of the food was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and well seasoned. They way that the ingredients and flavors were paired in the dishes were perfect. Sweet, savory, citrusy, and vinegar-y. Would come here every single day if I lived near here! The service is also amazing. Could not recommend this place more!! Will be coming here every single time I’m in the area.

We went for brunch here with our friends with 2 small kids. The staff was very accommodating and also prepared a strawberry sandwich 🥪 for kids. The pita and hummus was yum and also cherished by small kid. Chicken shawarma and falafel sandwiches were yum and very filling. Greek omelette and eggs florentine were delicious. Would highly recommend for goood food and courteous service

A small restaurant that gives you an old world charm. The food quality was excellent and their falafel is the best that I ever had in the last few years. Fresh hot, pita bread from the oven along with hot falafel. Was an excellent combination to the chilli weather outside. Great quality of food, reasonable price and excellent service.

Momo’s breakfast and the beef shawarma were delicious! Fresh, light and flavorful. Hummus and pita and easy-over eggs were perfect. Glad we found this place for brunch.

Dine in here twice, definitely recommend the lamb tajine. Tender and juicy lamb with a little bit sweet flavor (I didn't take pictures of it since can't wait to enjoy). Servers are friendly. Alexander(hope I got her name correct) is very nice and attentive.

Decorations and vibe of the place were good. The staff are friendly. I enjoyed the food. The Momo Breakfast and Steak and Eggs are my favorites. The mango smoothie and coffee were also delicious. My favorite thing about the smoothie is that it is not too sweet. For brunch, Uncle Momo is a good choice.

By far the best food in Jersey City! The entire team of staff are so welcoming and treat every customer like family. The food is all beyond incredible and authentic. You can never go wrong with the Lamb Tagine, Ouzi, Momo pizza, spinach and chickpea, or anything else for the matter. Truly a special place and restaurant I will be bringing family and friends to for life!

Had a lovely time at dinner with my friend here a couple of weeks ago. We ordered hummus, chicken shish kabab, lamb shish kabab, and Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious! I love the rich earthy taste of the coffee and the juiciness of the kebabs. We also ordered raspberry sorbet but they gave it to us on the house! Staff and owner were wonderful and made sure we were having a good time. Thank you so much!

We ordered the mezze, chicken pitzas and mixed grill. Delicious food for reasonable prices. It’s BYOB as well. So bring your drinks and enjoy a nice Lebanese cuisine.

Great food with large portions! You’re able to try a ton of different things here. I recommend trying all of the appetizers with the fresh pita. My boyfriend and I also split a salad and a lamb shish kebab. Very flavorful and filling!

High quality food. First time here and having brunch. Every single item was absolutely delicious. Specifically I have to say the hummus was one of the best I've ever had.

An old world cafe serving tasty Lebanese food in the middle of downtown Jersey City. This place has strong coffee for the morning, BYOB for the evening, and delicious hummus all dang day. Their hummus is slightly on the paste side of the bonzo-dip spectrum, which is totally my thing. The rest of the menu that I’ve tried is full of flavor and it’s always fresh. How fresh? Try their tabouli! They definitely lean into the Parisian cafe vibe with chill service, so be warned, don’t come here on your way to catch a train on the PATH! It sometimes get crowded for brunch and dinner on the weekend so factor in some buzz time. My favorite time to come is the late afternoon on a weekday when I need an elixir to the New York Minute.

The lamb and the chicken are both super tender, but a bit salty. The price is acceptable.

The ambiance is chill and they have outdoor seating available. The food quality is very good. Pita Bread at this place melted in our mouth as they were made fresh right in front of our table. The Labne, Hummus and Babaganoush tasted so delicious and it was nice and creamy. The Falafels tasted perfect. We also got their #pitza that is pizza on a pita bread. The service is very good and the delivery is always on time. Checkout detailed review on my website Vspiceroute.com

The perfect spot for some middle eastern cuisine. I am obsessed! You feel welcomed the moment you walk in. I ordered the momos breakfast and this dish is perfect if you want a little taste of everything. It came with eggs, salad, labne, hummus, tabolah, and home fries. The home fries were absolutely amazing with their flavoring. I also ordered a side of baba ganoush. I also love ordering arabic coffee. Can’t wait to be back to try their lunch / dinner dishes

Great restaurant for the vibe and casual food. Hummus was just okay but Kabobs were good.
