BEST INDIAN FOOD!!! I have been to numerous Indian restaurants and this by far is the best Indian I have had in my life. Not only was the presentation good, but the flavors of every dish was so rich and authentic. We ordered manchow soup, chili paneer, chicken angara, chicken biryani, garlic chili naan, irani chai, double kameetha. Everything was outstanding!! Bahut swadisht!!! Will definitely be coming back despite 1 hour commute!

Gr8 place for non veg hyderabadi food. We tried the delicious goat and paneer biryani. Must have Royala kura shrimp curry and kerala paratha. The quantity is generous. Value priced. Its currently in my top 3 indian restaurants near jersey city.

Best biryani I had in NJ. This one restaurant is where you can find the best biryani. They have many street side snacks and are delicious. We had chicken roast starter and the best one I had in US. Staff is welcoming and polite. Restaurant is open until midnight.

We dropped by this place on Saturday Afternoon to have lunch. It’s only a short walk from the Journal Square Station. The restaurant is located in the Little India area and has large in-door space, which can accommodate group of family gathering. We ordered Goat Angara, Punjabi Butter Chicken, and Chilli Garlic Naan. The food was amazing. The chicken was crisp outside and tender inside. The Punjabi Butter sauce was very creamy and spicy (they asked when we ordered which spice level we wanted and we chose Spicy). The goat was also very tender and the Angara Sauce was delicious, not too spicy. The naans were a bit expensive, 10$ for 2 naans. But the taste and fragrant were amazing. The waiting time was around 20’. The staff was ok.

Good Restaurant with decent seatings inside. Great quantity of food, but the quality can improve. Naan and the shahi kofta are amazing and good portion of Biryani.

I recently visited an Indian restaurant, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The food was burnt and not at all enjoyable. Additionally, when I asked for ketchup, the staff informed me that they didn't have any and gave me a puree instead, which was not to my liking. BIG BAZZAR is next door / bring your own ketch up. Furthermore, the owner's attitude towards the staff was very unpleasant and unprofessional, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was not good, the lack of basic condiments was frustrating, and the owner's attitude towards staff was unacceptable. I will not be returning to this establishment in the future.

Loved this place! It was our first time trying this restaurant and it was way better than our expectations. We got their pariwaar special chicken dum biryani, mutter paneer and chettinad chicken dum biryani. Loved the special biryani, delicious flavors and just the right amount of spices. The mutter paneer was very delicious too just the peas were a little tough. But the flavors were spot on. Raita and salan was served with the biryani, very authentic taste of salan. They have a customer points system where you get a free item with a certain number of points. We signed up and got 3 pcs of gulab jamun as a free item. Very soft and flavorful. Will definitely be back to try other items in the menu.

Had a great exegete today for lunch. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Chicken 65 and their Special Biryani with some Garlic Naan. Everything was awesome and the food was hot and fresh. The Mango Lassi also tasted really good but was a little thick than regular Lassis. I would definitely go again here.

They served me a vegetable biryani after about 30 minutes of ordering food which was very late. Biryani was not fresh, when i asked the waiter, he confirmed me that this was made in the morning and was not fresh (we visited this place around 3:30pm), how can you serve a biryani which is not fresh? On top of that, they even charged us for this biryani which we didnt eat and wanted to return. I will never ever go to this place again, bad service, bad smell, bad food.

We picked up Gobi Manchurian and veg dum biryani. The biryani portion is huge. One biryani is more than sufficient for 2 people. They say that the veg biryani is their specialist. However, there was neither any veggie nor any dum. Biryanis should be packed with flavors that I think was missing from both the Biryanis. Gobi Manchurian was better than veg biryani. They should definitely increase the flavors and spice level of biryani.

The food was FANTASTIC!!! We loved it. They were short staffed, but you would never know it; they were super efficient and friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. We greatly enjoyed our meal! Highly recommend.

We ordered 3 different main dishes (panner tikka masla, chicken tikka masala & butter chicken) but gravy tasted the same for all of them. They messed up with our dessert order where we ordered a creme brulee but they gave us a cheese cake instead. When we informed them about that, they said that the cheese cake is the creme brulee. Very disappointing to see that. We ordered butter chicken biryani which was a family size pack ($65) but the portion was so small and it was very dry as well. The waiters do not even know how to take order and he can’t even understand what we are saying even we said everything exactly from the menu book. The shahi rosh gulla was too small for the price and way too sweet. The wings was $19 and they gave us only 5 wings (side note: the wings were burned and very salty). I am attaching the pictures as proof of them messing up with our dessert order.

I had heard great things about the Biryani from this place, but unfortunately, our experience with the Paneer Makhni Biryani wasn't good. Despite requesting a less spicy version, it turned out to be extremely spicy. The pieces of Paneer were quite big and not soft, which might have happened due to overcooking at high temperatures. While they did provide a generous quantity of Biryani, the taste was disappointing. We ended up having to throw away half of the Biryani because of its high spice level. Roadside Parking only.

Came back to try the butter chicken biryani and it was so tasty. Tried the gulab jamun as well. A bit pricey for 3 for $6, but typical. Service was excellent-Varush was attentive and had great suggestions. ******** Gobi Manchurian biryani was tasty, especially with the 2 sauces that come with it. The tandoori paneer tikka was a little on the dry side, but still good. Garlic naan was nothing special, but was nice with the paneer since it ended up being a little spicer than we expected. Menu is extensive, so much variety. I would definitely come back to try one of the chicken dishes.

Pariwaar specializes in hyderabadi biryani and is a winner in jersey city’s little India. This is no ordinary rice dish; the food is literally made in stacked layers— alternating between stews of meat/veggie and rice— with deeper layers infused with more flavor and spice. For the stews, we are talking about layer of onions, vegetables, and super tender meat , marinated in yogurt and mix of ginger, turmeric and cinnamon and spiked with cardamom , cloves, and maybe even dates; the flavor really kicks in after being steamed by the race. But the rice is fabulous too—layers of fragrant long grain basmati rice on top , baked so well that literally ever grain can be separated and taste perfectly cooked. Rice will never be the same again after this….

Very much worth the hype. The food is Zabiha Halal and they have many Vegan, Veg, and Gluten Free options. Food is all organic. Waiters are very courteous and polite and the food is absolutely amazing. We came in at 11:15 and ordered Naan, Dal Achari, Chicken Korma, and Chicken Vindaloo.

The place looks kinda vintage from outside but once you enter the restaurant the scene is complete opposite. Great food. The quantity is really good. In terms of the quality and test, that can be improved a bit. Friendly staff.

Usually I am not a fan of giving bad news. But here I found they wrote that todays special is Maandi. It was disappointed to see a lot of rice but no meat and I paid around $100 for this, I hope they improve from now onwards.. thanks

Can’t count how many times I visited there but every time I was so impressed. Just in love with their Hyderabad styled chicken dim biriyani & goat dum biriyani. Their gulab jamoon just melts in mouth. The staffs are so kind too. If you want to experience authentic foods from Hyderabad, this is the place! Will keep coming back In Shaa Allah 🙏

Yes, the ambience may not be the best but the food here compensates for everything. Biryanis were amazing, especially the Gongura chicken and Hyderabadi lamb dum biryani. Furthermore, their portion sizes for the price were very seizable. They do have a family size but getting 2 regular size biryanis will be more than sufficient for a family of 4. The only disappointment was the watery Mirchi Salan as opposed to how it should be nutty, but the bold flavours of the biryani’s masala makes the Mirchi Salan unnecessary to a huge extent. They seem to be understaffed despite the high number of orders, so do be patient as the patience will pay off for some delicious food. As for the other dishes, their chettinad chicken were amazing while I am confident that many of their South Indian masala dishes would pass with flying colours too.

Ate here on a Thursday night. The place seemed with busy with takeout orders. We ordered Fresh lime sodas, Malai kofta, Garlic naan and the Paneer Makhani Biriyani. The food was good! Every diner also received a complimentary Irani chai which was a welcoming gesture on a cold evening. We’ll definitely be back for the Biriyani!

Special chicken biryani was awesome, not greasy at all and perfectly seasoned. It comfortably serves two people. Was skeptical while ordering since it was already past 9pm but was really satisfied about on the point service even for a takeout.
