Old school simple and quick. They haven’t changed much and they don’t need too. Friendly staff and service. Food is consistent and quick.

One of the best burger (slider) experience I’ve ever had so far. Simple, soft, juicy, cheesy, smashed mini burgers. Restaurant is a classic American Diner with burger options. They cook the sliders in front of your eyes. I can say hamburger patties are developed almost from meatballs. You can prefer your patty with or without onions. I ordered 3 double cheeseburgers. Just perfect! White Mana Diner is a historical landmark and only CASH is accepted. Try to enjoy the atmosphere.

Like all legends it’s time to retire. This old washed up has been. The place is filthy. Just sit in the front and look up at the ceiling nasty dirty dust falling on top of the burgers. The burger tasted like meat loaf. That’s why they cook them and smash them. Horrible the bacon was bits. Not slice. It’s time to raise the prices and get serious about food the place looks like it should be closed.

I went here with my colleague based on google reviews. It is a typical American diner where time has stood still. Ne chic and modern gastronomy expected is out of place here. There are classic cheeseburgers prepared the old way and small talk with the owner at the counter. There is the offer 3 cheeseburgers for everyone, a Seitz and a drink for around $10 because you can't complain. The citizens were fresh and well the talk with her pleasant. It is paid in cash no payment accepted. If you don't have any cash with you, you will be friendly but determined to the LTM in the house. Parking spaces available in the side street. Not a must-have, but you should definitely take it with you when you drive past it.

The burger slider and fries experience is pretty good (makes you think of white castle sliders). Attention and customer service is lacking. *Ask for the $10 special = 3 cheese burgers with fries and a soda for $10)

Old school. BETTER then ANY fast food chain hands down. GREAT PRICES. I would recommend the 3 cheeseburger special AND THE cheesesteak. Jimmy is a character. Love the pace. Highly recommend it.

Finally got to stop in here don't understand what the hype is other than the historical look and feel of the place. The burger was okay the bacon was undercooked but the french fries is very good. It would be a place I would go when I'm drunk and my taste buds aren't running on all cylinders. With that said you're right next to a major highway so if you come here drunk and you drive there's a good chance you'll get a DWI

Everyone was so welcoming and fun. They made watching a simple burger flip enjoyable. Lol I will be going back

One word for the sliders/burgers WOW. Most impressed. Heard how good the burgers were, boy were the right. Everything was great from the food, to the service, to the prices. DEFINITELY will be back for more, a lot more.

Defiantly worth the stop, not sure if they are really bucket list/best burger worthy burgers, but they are 100% worth the $$ and the place itself is historic and does not disappoint. Get the pickles! (On the side) and if you are starving when you walk in, order fries, they come out quickly and you can snack before the burgers are done.

Gets an extra star because the burgers did actually taste all right. but the restaurant is really gross and dirty and the service was pretty rude. no free refills either. grill was filthy and I could see the cook smoking inside in the main kitchen. if the stuff right in your face has that level of filth, then I can't imagine the state of the stuff we can't see. I will say that this really surprised me bc I've seen this restaurant receive praise on First we Feast and other reviewers on Google. included photos of the grill and the cook with the lit cigarette in his hand indoors

The employees and owner are amazing and welcoming!! The burgers are old-fashioned style but they're not that tasty! But, they are still good and yummy for an Old Fashioned Burger, 😋 👍🏻🍔

Nothing but good things to say about the diner. Prices are better than reasonable (cash only) and the food is great. As the owner told us, there’s a reason they’re still here making burgers the same way for 90+ years. Onion Rings were some of the best I’ve ever had.

This is the coolest place I have visited lately. The hamburguers are amazing and addictive. The service is very nice with no pretentions at all. I don"t think it was a good idea coming here because now I want to come every day. Thank you so much.

Five stars for the history. Not an everyday burger for me but probably a favorite for many others. Simple griddle, limited seating, greasy spoon, and you can hear everything while seated at the counter. They do takeout or dine in. Seems like many customers order the single cheese burger in quantities of 4 or 5. I was recommended the double cheeseburger and it paired well with a steak and cheese. You can let the cook know if you want onions or pickles (served on the side) with your burger, but otherwise it is simple. They have ketchup on the counter.

This place only takes Cash.. which they waited to tell me until the food was already done so I couldn't cancel my order. 2nd the meat on this cheese burger is totally raw All the way through. I couldn't even finish it because I didn't want to get sick.. it's time to retire this place

Never fails delicious burgers, good quality fries, onion ring were good as well. We had fountain sodas and milk shakes. Friendly staff, fast service, good prices. When we walked in my 14 yr old said it looked like the scene of an old movie. Always consistent every time.

Overall, the food was great, the burgers had a great taste and the fries were nice and crispy, and the chocolate shake tasted amazing. The people that worked there were nice, and the place was clean. I would highly recommend coming.

This is one of those spots that bring you back! Burgers were nice and juicy and old fashioned. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE SEASONED WAFFLE FRIES. Overall a nice experience. Friendly staff. Don’t expect this to be a fancy restaurant, it has a comfy and home feeling.

Grew up not far from this great place. Wonderfully simple and straightforward Jersey City nugget. Chocolate shake, fries and cheese burgers. Perfect. Bit of a time machine.

Nice small mom and pop shop restaurant. The food is delicious and inexpensive! Full of old memorabilia, it's nice to see that it's stayed the same after all these years. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

No frills long established local sliders joint. This place keeps it simple and you get what you expect - great tasting sliders and fries. Get a side of fries and a side of pickles to put on your sliders. They won't put pickles on the sliders, but you can and the acidity of them really rounds the sliders out. If you are able to dine in, do so, as the inside will transport you to the 40's/50's.

Burgers were good but I expected more since I've been wanting to go there for 30+ years

Bad customer service. We arrived at 8:30pm and they close at 9pm. Pretty much we were rush to order because staff said they wanted to leave right away. It’s hard to understand the state of New Jersey, people want to make money but they never want to work. The burgers were super oily. We went because of the reviews but they were awful, the whole experience was bad, food and service. If you are from here you might like it because that’s the NJ normal, but if you are from out state don’t wasted your money.

If you like white castle, this is real deal. Delicious, great customer service, good parking. Might need a tums afterword, but that's the point.

I would have given a 5 star. The employees are great at this location. Food is good and prices are low $. Most of the time its a quick in & out. Chairs are a bit old but it brings back memories from going here when I was younger. You can eat in as they have a few seats. Steak sandwiches are really good and made on toast. Because of Covid a small section is closed soon to reopen.

Transplanted From Queens Worlds Fair to Jersey City. This place is a historic landmark that does not change anything. The mini burgers are still about $1.70 and made in front of you with fresh beef and onions grilled on the patties. The owner is a sweet older woman to gave us a quick history lesson on the place. We will definitely be back whenever we go down route 1-9

Ordered a plan cheeseburger and 2 hotdogs. Hot dogs were fine but my burger besides not having any flavor what so ever was also not plain. Since I had ordered to go I was already at my destination when I had called to let them know. I wasn’t going to go back for a new burger. I was far to begin with. But the guy cooking the burgers asked me twice if I wanted stuff on the burger and I said the first time just cheese and the second time plain. That’s the annoying part was it was still messaged up after asking twice.

Epic burger joint. CASH ONLY. Yes they have an ATM. Yes the food is awesome. Yes I’ll keep coming back. Love the pictures in the walls, the conversation with the locals, and the ambiance of a very old fashioned burger joint.

The OG burger joint. Definitely an experience. Worth stopping in when you are around here.

Cash only, typical east coast attitude. Prices are too high, with no drink refills. I had to pay $2.50 twice for small soda. Not a fan. Will not return. It's fried, grilled food, overpriced and nothing special, with attitude. You get more for less at McDonald's.

White Mana is Historic and the owners are behind the counter Greeting everyone who happens to come in by accident and tired from sitting in traffic, which is always out of control. Sometimes it's best to pull over and grab a quick snack, recharge your battery before getting back to the traffic. White Manna Burgers are what you get at white castle but bigger than white castles and just as satisfying. I am pretty sure they are cheaper than white castle as well. Tell them Paul sent you to check them out ;)

Cheeseburgers made simple but so delicious. I enjoyed them a lot! Nostalgic location! Friendly employees. Highly recommend if you are looking for a classic diner with delicious cheeseburgers. Fries were also very good! :-) Unfortunately you can only pay with cash. They had an ATM inside, but it charged us high fees using a foreign VISA card.
