First, Jade, the best, the kindest restaurant staff I have ever met any where in the world, works here. I eat a lot, and salad bar was never my choice, until I tried just salad. They help me start my beautiful days with great smile, and the healthiest food. Highly recommend it to my gym friends too!

I come every day now. I wish I could find this place earlier. Ron is very nice, and Manny the manager is a great guy. Very awesome staff, AGAIN. I own marketing company, this is my first time recommend restaurant for free. Because you have to try this place people! Healthy food, happy vibe, nice music, and good lighting. Try this place!!!

Massiel provided excellent customer service! She's very pleasant! I also appreciated manny taking the time to introduce himself to me and explaining to me the impact to purchase a reusable bowl. As for the salads, they're delicious! Money well spent!

I ordered a Tokyo Supergreens Salad, Tofu a few weeks ago because my diet is restricted to halal or vegetarian foods. When I told one of the staff members my order, she didn't understand me at all and had to ask another co-worker if he could listen to my order. It also seemed like it was her first time making this specific salad because she kept referring to a sheet of paper, so I was worried she would accidentally give me chicken instead of tofu. Due to this, as we moved further along the station, I tried to emphasize that I ordered tofu, but she didn't understand me again and started asking me about what sauce I wanted. Once she was done with my order, she checked off the entirely wrong option (Thai Chicken Crunch Salad) on the receipt. I was extremely concerned by this, so I told the staff member at the register that I actually ordered Tokyo Supergreens and how I believe I got chicken instead. She replied by saying, "You can just open it and check." As I was opening it, she took a quick glance at it and said it was tofu, so I thought I could feel reassured. However, when I took it back and started eating it, I realized the entire order was in fact, incorrect, and I got chicken instead. This was a terrible first experience at Just Salad (as well as my first time writing a review) and I don't plan to revisit any of its locations again.

Ordered chicken pita salad, the quantity was good and costed around $12. Good healthy place .

This is a restaurant in the Newport shopping mall in Jersey City. I ordered a warm bowl which has chicken and a variety of veggie (tomato, pepper, Choi sun) and some rice. The food is delicious, and the restaurant is spacious. We need to clean up the tray ourselves, but it is fair.

Every single time I go to this location they mess up my order. I always get the same thing, the vegan chipotle wrap. The first time, I had to wait for the beyond chicken to be cooked. That was fine. But my order had zero pieces of beyond chicken after I waited 15 minutes for it. The second time, had the same problem. The third time I had a few pieces of the chicken, but the wrong sauce was used. I gave them three chances, but will not be returning.

Wonderful return! I stopped coming here about a year ago after a bad experience. unfortunately for me, i left my lunch at home and had to go to the only place near me that offered vegan options. The service here was astounding since my last visit, as soon as i stepped in i was welcomed by what felt like the entire staff. I was serviced quickly by an employee named Kim, she was very friendly and offered some great choices to substitute what i didn’t want in my salad. Jade the manager has really turned the store around, and i was able to get my lunch within 5 minutes. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Ordered two crispy chicken salad today, but no chicken in both bowls…

Usually I am happy with the service and people here which is why I didn't give 1 star. However today wasn't a good day. I was served by someone who appeared to have a large cold sore over my food. Provided he did wear gloves I would have appreciated if he wore a mask. However, It somewhat ruined my appetite as this is a very contagious disease which I understand is very common in the world. Please be careful with servers and who they are serving was in this day and age people people are more sensitive than ever. Thank you

Wanted something light for lunch and this place did not disappoint. I walked past it many times and finally went in. It was clean, the people were welcoming, so why not. A lady approached me as I was looking at the menu like a lost sheep, she introduced herself as Jade, and ended up being the store manager. She was super bubbly,pleasant and personable. After explaining it was my first time here she suggested a chicken poblano wrap. Kevin was at the counter and made my wrap elegantly. I hope this reaches the right people at this company. I just want to say thank you. Will defiantly be dinning here again.

This is the restaurant inside the Newport Centre Mall. I had a Just Salad coupon and did not know how to use it. Ron, the manager, at Just Salad greeted me with a smile and helped me place the order using that coupon. He answered all my questions and made my warm bowl delicious. The food was very fresh and had the place has lots of options. Also, the vegetarian protein (beyond meat) was one of the best proteins I have ever had. Ron’s customer service was excellent and I can’t wait to come back here. Thank you, Ron and Just Salad.

It is an excelent place with awesome people, they are very friendly and know everything about each product and its preparation, variety and delicious organic ingredients. The costumer service is excellent especially for Ron and Gabby they always make me feel welcome. Many always welcoming with a big smile

Jade and Ron are always so kind and inviting. Always make my day, no matter how stressful of a day I’m having. Just salad Newport feels like a home away from home. No matter how many times I come, I always get treated with amazing hospitality ( and look forward to jades amazing makeup) . I always get a few days worth of salads. Jade & Ron both know what I want before I even have to say anything ! Amazing supervisors. I will keep coming back for the food and staff ! Keep up the good work guys !

Just salad has been one of my main lunch spots for years mainly. I’ve rotated between salads and avocado toasts plus smoothies and juices. It used to be better when I brought my own bowls and got the extra ingredients for free. There are better smoothies and salads but overall it’s one of my favorite places nearby to get some good clean food.

I had a bad experience in this restaurant myself and my family who are from Madrid-Spain We went to eat salads here and we were attended by a short lady with a blue polo shirt I wanted to make my order in Spanish because I heard that the lady spoke Spanish when I tried to order The lady tells me that she does not speak Spanish when seconds before I heard her speaking in Spanish we simply left the place because it seemed disrespectful to me and obviously the lady has characteristics of a Latina she should not have someone like that treating clients and applying Xenophobia in many restaurants in the United States if the person who serves you does not speak Spanish, they look for someone to do so, that is good service, one is going to consume and spend money not to beg or to receive food as gifts. Thank you

WOWW!!!! Can I give this place more than 5 stars!?? What an incredible experience from Ronald and Manny! They were so warm & welcoming, made suggestions for our order and got to know me and my mom. The place is SPOTLESS and they enforce COVID safety protocols. The food was delicious and the cafe is spacious. The service we received from this place was top notch and I would recommend anyone coming here for a rockstar experience. Ronald and Manny should get promotions and raises! Thank you guys!

Just Salads is my favorite healthy food “go to” restaurant in Jersey City. Whether you’re taking out or dining in, it’s a great experience. The hearty salads are a full meal- and very delicious! I often head to Just Salads post-workout to have a protein packed vitamin packed meal that really hits the spot. I’ve gotten to know the friendly staff, including Jade, Ron, Cindy, and the manager Manny who runs a tight ship. The customer service is great- always energetic and with a smile!

I got teriyaki chicken bowl. The portion is definitely not small. The pickled radishes added some freshness. Brown rice was a bit dry, and the chicken wasn't exactly juicy, so the entier bowl was drier than I liked. Still a good and quick meal. We arrived soon after 11am on a Sunday and it was completely empty. Nice view.
