My first time here with my family. And they met my exceeded my expectations. The steaks were juicy and very tender. The lobster bisque was very good. My daughter had the surf and turf and ate everything off her plate. The Classic Lemon Drop is a bit strong but it is sneak up drink, you feel the effects gradually. I will come again in the future.

Spicy shrimp/Fried calamari was phenomenal! It was such a great recommendation from our server Edwin this past Sunday night! Don’t get me started on the service it was beyond superb! Everyone was well attentive! Even make some friends tonight with other staff members Coop and Johnny created a great and memorable night! Ordered the 40oz tomahawk with the porterhouse along side. My father in law enjoyed it so much he kept the bone as a souvenir! Will definitely be back amazing service from everyone here!

What can I say… I almost spent my night at Fire & Oak next door. For some reason, I just knew Ruth Chris would better and boy was my expectations exceeded. Holy moly, talk about SERVICE. From the entrance, Linden and Robert made us feel so welcomed! They chatted with us, asked us why we were there, and we were sat at a BEAUTIFUL booth! Then Paul and Mario came over and took care of the bread and the water, gracious as can be. But then the real kicker came… our waiter Vincent. I won’t even come here if he’s not working. This guy is just the best of the best. He made our entire night; the ENTIRE staff made our night! My husband said even if the food was terrible we’d still give this place a 5 star review because the service was ELITE. BUT! The food was just as amazing. Nobody beats Ruth’s… ever. Not any restaurant near here, not any restaurant ever. Stop trying to go to new places, and come to where you know is the best always. RUTHS!

Great ambiance and service. Manny served us and had a great time. Even took the left over to go and had another happy dinner at home. Don’t think if anyone able to afford this place would do it :D Really good for the ambience and loved the cocktail ! The best I ever had.

I have been here many times over the past five years. Service and atmosphere were good, but the food was not always good. I usually order ribeye or porterhouse for two. And I clearly feel that the meat quality has became worse and worse in the past two years, lots of hard tendons in the steak seriously affect the taste. It doesn't feel like it's dry-aged beef. So, I will not consider dining at Ruth's Chris again, I believe there are good steakhouses in the Newport/Grove St area that are worth the price.

I went last night to celebrate my friend Graduating nursing school. They made us feel so special. The food was excellent. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Nick our server was excellent all ways making sure we were ok. Karen came over and Congratulated or graduate. That made her feel so special. Thanks Jersey City for making our night.

This is a decent steakhouse in Jersey City but they don’t don’t know how to cook the steaks. They always undercook the steak and we had to send it back a few times until we got what we asked for in the first place. Our server Scott was very nice but I am not sure about the cook. Also, be aware they don’t have valet parking which is ok but you need to park on the street (not too many options) it in the south garage.

The service was amazing, I loved Tiffany and crystal the manager !!!! The food was 10/10 I don’t usually like Ruth Chris but this location won my heart over !!!! Amazing. No regrets.

I had a great experience yesterday. The food was incredible, everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent! I even got a free cheesecake in the end. The manager gave it to me to celebrate my baby girl that’s one the way (I’m 9months pregnant). It was so sweet of him. We’ll definitely go back to try different dishes. Highly recommended.

Celebrating our Besties Graduation!!!! Our server Nick was great!!!! Rob the manager came to greet us and was so funny!!! Had a wonderful time. Can't wait for the next celebration!

Ruths Chris After having a reservation 3 weeks in advance and to the horrible disappointment and customer service by manager Robert Rosado .. Here we go seated on a table which smelt like some chemical around .. then moved to another ya me with a disappointment of not having water for almost 30 mins to change of dirty classes 4 times to which in between were given wine glasses for water. And switched again.. there goes my hour figuring out our water war at this NASDAQ listed company. Ordered drinks and appetizer Almost done with appetizers we were asked to place order for Main course.. bought to their notice that they have still not got our drinks which were expected with the appetizers .Finally we place the order and we get our drinks in a few saying they out of glasses so they had to serve the martini in a wine glass . Then arrives our main course and one steak order which was asked to be well done comes out medium rare, and I was not able to have a meal for myself. after 20 mins Mr Robert happened to pass by and I told him about what’s happening and he just passed a weird comment saying u shud have told earlier .. how do u expect to say something when u just came to my table .. he scoffs of saying lemme se if i can take off something .. .. was astonished at his attitude as to he thinks I would care for a couple of bucks when I can afford usd500 meal. To our savior had another manager Ms Crystal come over and and as we were explaining the situation ..Mr Robert had some guts to make fun of us.. felt insulted as hell . Even Ms Crystal had no words left as for his behavior I asked that he apologize but he cared less Ms Crystal apologized on his behalf again and again .. she was so down to earth-and her approach to the whole situation due to which my anger and upsetness disappeared in a whiff.I cud not believe a hungry me was back smiling . Being in the service industry understand the pressure that goes on during any occasions as like it was Mother’s Day today, but there are ways to handle it. Thank u to Vincent and Crystal for taking care of the situation Mother’s Day to remember for life @ruthschris My last note .. would still like an apology from Mr. Robert amd hoping @ruthschris u will r take a strict action against your manager who has the odesity of making fun of his customer instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and promote people like Mr Vincent and Ms Crystal for their loyalty and customer service 🙏🙏

I am glad there is another Ruth's Chris here! The food is great as the one I've tried in Savannah. The lobster soup is the best lobster soup that I've ever tried. And ribeye and creme brule are just amazing, I've ordered this set in the photo many times.

My very first time at Ruth’s Chris and it was superb. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I arrived a little after my reservation however they weren’t busy so I was taken to my table. The lighting is perfect. I chose the bottled water which was a large size and a quality brand. The bread was so warm and delightful. I had the Garlic crusted Seabass on a bed of spinach and their garlic mashed. Everything was so divine. I ordered a lemon drop and it was well made. Lastly I had the bread pudding and it was a nice size and very delicious. Everything was reasonably priced and i like this location because it’s close to the water. I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Servers were absolutely amazing, attentive, couldn’t ask for more there. Best at their job and I would hire them tomorrow. That being said, worst steak ever. Literally. And not just once, but TWICE. Never had a more well done steak come out especially at a high end chain like this. Spent $250/person on a pre fix menu for 15 people for a holiday dinner. First time steak comes out totally grey and well done (ordered medium rare). When I asked to get a medium rare steak it took 30+ minutes to come, and the second steak came more well done than the first! I was then not even offered to get that one replaced. Not once. I was told manager was coming to talk to us but he did not make that effort. Quite ridiculous for a $250 per person private dinner party. Will not be returning and definitely will not be recommending to anyone. Our $4k holiday dinner will for sure be somewhere else next year too. Wildly disappointing.

Had a great time celebrating the life of my mother. I had a party of 12 join me for an outstanding dinner and all the steaks shrimp and other food was 5 star service was also top notch. Will definitely be back.

If you have been to the US a few times and like steak you should be familiar with the steak house chain Ruth's Chris. Their signature is the butter used to cook a great steak for their clients. This was the first time for me to visit this particular location and i am pleasantly surprised by the staff and how attentive everyone was. We went there for a business dinner and both, the client and us had a great time. The food was as usual well prepared and of high quality. Thank you to the team. If only the decor in the restaurant would get an update then the experience would be awesome. The wine selection was good with high quality low priced wines to high quality high priced wines. Definitely a great restaurant if you like steak.

I had the most amazing dinner of my life at Ruth Chris last month. Manny was my server and he did an exceptional job! The manager and assistant manager checked in regularly to ensure we were having a stellar time. I've gone to other high end steakhouses like Morton's and Capital Grille and I have to say the food here was better, the service was on a level that I have never received if I can be honest. They just were willing to go the extra mile. The steak did not need any sauce. The flavor was so rich and layered! All of my sides from the mushrooms to the creamed spinach were insanely good. The crab cakes were one of the stars that night. Hands down the best crab cakes I have ever had in my entire 39 years on this earth, seriously. It was like Ruth herself rose from the dead and was the head chef that day . Thank you again and I will be back!

It was my first time coming here and it was AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know. Carlos the manager was amazing. Very helpful with helping my table pick out the best meals. Taisha our server was also very lovely. I am definitely going to come back here! Thank you for the service!

I just want to start off by saying thank you Ruth’s Chris as an organization for the fine dining and experience we had. Booking reservations was smooth and easy. I mentioned it was my wife and I anniversary and they wowed us with the presentation(which was unexpected). The service was top notch and the waitress(so sorry I forgot her name) was perfect with every suggestion she has made. We ordered our steaks and before we could even dive in, the team noticed that it wasn’t cooked the way we requested and they immediately took it back with the care as if they were the one that ordered it lol. Ending of the night was just a s great with the “happy anniversary” treat. I would highly recommend going to this establishment and I’m beyond satisfied with the experience we had.

Beautiful ambience. I'm always going to Ruth Chris and this one so far is my favorite. Take pictures before or after dinner due to them being near the waterfront. The steak is always perfect, servers are professional without being robotic. The entire menu is magnificent. No complaints!

Came here last night and got the Ruth's Chris Steak House....man that was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had. I also had a lemon drop that came in a really cute tub of ice. For an appetizer we had the clams which were also pretty good.
