Torico is fantastic! As a third generation family owned ice cream shop, it has cemented its place as an institution in Jersey City. On a Friday night 15 minutes before close, there was a queue waiting to enter this shop. We tried the Chocolate Blackout and Chocolate Brownie ice cream flavors, and they were delicious! Super excited to visit again and try more ice cream flavors and cakes from here. Highly recommend!

DELICIOUS!! The ice cream here is amazing. It’s a cute spot in a nice area in JC. We actually came in from the city for dinner and stopped here for dessert. Best find!! I wanted every flavor haha but my go to is a soft serve and it was soooo good!! My new favorite ice cream spot!!

The best ice cream spot in Jersey City! They have a lot of flavours to pick from but my go to combo is the chocolate chunk and strawberry! The staff are always very friendly and patient whilst you make up your mind as to what you are getting! I am guilty of going here once a week!!

Very good ice cream place. Plenty of choices for all your tastes. Easy to get carried away and get overwhelmed, but take your time and check out the free tasting before you choose yours. Loved their Jackfruit flavor ice cream. Lychee was about ok. The line may be a bit long, but it is definitely worth the wait.

Just amazing!!! Located in the thick neighborhood, away from the other rush. Found it just walking down the streets, and would say this is the best place for ice creams as of now in the area. I was so confused with the 50 odd flavors they have. Must go placee..

Awesome iced cream shop in the heart of Jersey city. They have very fresh and seasonal iced cream flavors . All flavors are unique and there's a plethora of flavors to choose from. There is generally a huge line at night or evening so be prepared to wait in the line!! They close sharp at 11 so if you are not in line before that .. unfortunately you won't be allowed inside !!! We ordered peach , avocado and banana peanut butter..all 3 flavors are very different, fresh and tasty❤️ definitely recommend this place!!

The ice cream was too good. The place is busy even on weekdays. I loved their coconut cream and butter pecan ice cream. The taste was amazing. Would love to recommend if you’re around here.

I mean...it's Torico! An ice cream institution at its finest. Torico provides a variety of flavors and the service here is second to none. Also you can taste how fresh the ice cream is at this shop. You can't go wrong at all. Pro-tip: The pistachio is divine. 😍

After dinner we were craving something sweet so we decided to check out Torico’s for some homemade ice cream. They had A LOT of flavors to choose from, some were interesting and we wanted to try them all! We all got different flavors; chocolate chunks, vanilla peanut butter, pistachio, coconut cream, and ube. All of the ones we tried were very good except for the Ube. For four regular ice creams and one small, we paid almost $30 (not bad compared to other places). A new girl in training took our order, she made our scoops so small which we were not happy about but we didn’t bother making it a huge deal. Hopefully if we come next time the same thing won’t happen again. The inside of the shop wasn’t big enough to sit inside, more like a grab and go type place. Parking is also a bit difficult in this area but luckily we were able to find a spot right in front. If we’re ever in the area craving ice cream we will for sure be back.

I am a coconut ice cream aficionado and the coconut joy is incredibly high on my list of favorites. I would walk miles for this ice cream. Extremely creamy and their cones remind my of my childhood. You can’t go wrong with any of their flavors.

Heaven for ice cream lovers! So many flavors to choose from. I tried the Ube (purple yam) and papaya, and got strawberry and chocolate ones for my son. All of them were so good!! But papaya and chocolate are amazingly delicious!

This place is bomb. Ice cream 🍦 😋 taste so yummy. There was a extremely long line but it was worth it. Has so many different flavors to choice from. Did you know their first ice cream flavor was coquito? 🤯 (mind blown) come check it out. Plus they are hiring. Bring a resume on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 3pm. Call in to make sure those are still the hours provided. Good luck 👍🏾

Absolutely delicious. They also have vegan options too! I’ll admit some of the flavors seem weird but they make some great ice cream.

They give you a nice size scoop for the amount of money you are spending. The pistachio and coffee cookie ice cream are divine too. The workers are very friendly and positive.

Was craving something sweet and homemade/good quality.. this family-owned ice cream shop deliver above and beyond! So many flavors to choose from, nice cute neighborhood to just sit down and enjoy your treat. Ice cream was creamy, soft and so flavorful (reminded me of the ones from back home in Venezuela)🩷🍨🍨🍨🍧🍧🍧 stopped by on a summer Monday afternoon and there was no line whatsoever! 10/10

Good options and variations of flavors. They say it’s home made. Taste is excellent. Be ready for big line.

I've been to this place three times in the last month and it has never disappointed me. A big selection of ice-cream and the taste is sooo good. This place have different seasonal flavours apart from all around the year flavours. You can also pick toppings that compliment your flavour. Quick tip: make sure you've enough time when you go to Torico, since there's always a long line to enter this heaven.

3.5 stars. Very decent ice cream. A bit overpriced for the quality. Vegan options available! Cute interior, and there was a line buy we waited only about 3mins. They have a laaarge variety of flavors, including fla irs like sesame and avocado ice cream. Most vegan options are sorbets, and the mango sorbet is really good. As I said above, it is good quality but not amazing, and a bit high priced for what you get.

This channel for place was located about 10 minutes away from my hotel. Walks at night to grab a good ice cream are one of the best, this place does have gooooooood ice cream! Tip -try one of the fruit flavors and combine it with a non fruity one. Totally worth it!

Not worth the hype. For a kiddy size cup I paid $4.65 which IMO is overpriced compared to the quality. Ice cream was icy and came off very strong in flavor. After trying a few fruit flavors they had, I decided to get Ube. It was decent in taste - powdery and sweet. Don’t plan to try more flavors here.

Best local ice cream place in down town jersey City. Lots of seasonal flavours and my fav is peach and jackfruit.

One of my favorite places for ice cream. They have so many unique flavors. The lines can be long but it’s worth the wait. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I’d like to try more of their menu but their black sesame, matcha and ube flavors are so good.

There’s a reason you’ll often find a bit of a line at Torico—this is good stuff. How they can make and maintain so many flavors of delicious ice cream at any given time is truly a mystery. They’ve got all kinds of toppings, sugar cones and waffle cones, and the nicest folks behind the counter. It’s just fine if you have the desires of your heart all figured out at ordering time, but I’ve found that the helpful ice cream experts make for great dessert crafting concierges as well! You’ll want to give Torico a try…probably over and over again.

Fantastic ice cream place in downtown Jersey City. They have an expansive menu with plenty of homemade options. They also rotate in seasonal flavors. They have a lot of creative creations. A little pricey but definitely worth the money. It does get busy but overall they move the line quickly and provide good service

A small ice cream place in Jersey City. We decided to go here after we heard some good reviews about this place and it was hardly 5 -10 mins walk from the Grove street path station. There were a lot of refreshing summer flavors, we tried the Jackfruit flavor. It was light and subtle and the jackfruit flavor was not overpowering. In all a really nice experience will keep going here and try out different flavors.

Love love love this ice cream. There was a line, but it was worth the wait. I got pumpkin and vanilla fudge in a waffle cone and the memory of how delicious it was will accompany me back to Phoenix

Pros: - The ice cream itself is creamy. - The portion sizes are generous. - Torico offers a delicious sugar free vanilla that tastes like regular vanilla ice cream. - They have a broad variety of flavors and desserts. Cons: - I'm docking one star because they can't seem to improve efficiency and get the lines moving at a faster pace. I'm not sure if they need more help or better crowd management, but it doesn't seem to be a priority for the owner.

Cute place with variety of Icecream flavors. Didn't try the cake. Got the red velvet Icecream scoop, it was great.

The best, there's a line usually but it's worth the wait. They have the most delicious, creamy icecreams
