From the moment you enter the parking lot, the smells sends signals from your brain, to your stomach and the mouth watering begins. Walking into the restaurant was just as visually pleasing. Bright colors of fresh carrot salad, eggplants, tabouli, red cabbage, mint herb mix, hummus, and other vegetables aligned neatly and cleanly in the bins. I ordered the chicken shawarma and although it was smaller than I was assuming prior to receiving I was surprisingly pleased with how stuff it was with all of the ingredients I asked for. Whenever I'm in New York again I'm definitely going to Nanas!!

ABSOLUTELY delicious food!! Sooo fresh and tasty and not oily. The Zatar fries were super delicious and not overfried at all. We had 2 plates with chicken shwarma and chicken shishlik, and we were extremely satisfied. We also liked the mint lemonade, refreshing and not too sweet. We will come again. And the stuff was very nice.

Stopped coming here after the pandemic when the food quality plummeted and service was lacking. Responses to my complaints were met with poor excuses. Decided to try again today. Here is the miserable falafel. Small, flat, burnt and devoid of flavor. I ate one and the other four went in the trash. Such a disappointment especially since the prices increased dramatically. As a huge falafel fan, I was there for the grand opening and the falafel were so extraordinary, I told Josh it was the best I’d ever eaten. After that never saw him again and it was all downhill.

I used to love this place and would order via online apps all the time. However, recently they price hiked the chicken Shawarma platter from $14 to $22 (what in the world). I can get much better chicken platters for much less. Actually, everything in the menu increased its' price by tenfold. If you are going to increase the prices, do it in a reasonable manner. This isn't reasonable for the small amount of food you get. Little bits of chicken in pieces on top of a large amount of rice/couscus, etc. This is extremely disappointing and I will not continue to order here anymore. I'm really disappointed that this place went downhill already.

Wanted to try this place based on good reviews and supporting local small eateries. We had a chicken shishlik and my falafel sandwich. The chicken shishlik was decent enough and the falafel sandwich was described to me as "not the best I've had but okay". But in the current state of things, I can't in good conscience recommend. While the food is passably good, what isn't is the cost and quantity for that. These were small pita sandwiches that would, at best, be a light lunch but the falafel clocks in at $10 and the shishlik came in at an eye watering $17. You could have gotten an entire pizza from a good place for that price. Here, you get something about the size of a Big Mac at nearly 4x the cost of entry. It's just not acceptable at that cost of entry. Edit - I would buy the response from the owner here if I couldn't get a bowl of noodles from a shop running on the same "imported fine dining" paradigm for a dollar less than a chicken sandwich here but also get a larger quantity of food. So either your import/exporter is ripping you off or you're ripping me off.

I used to love and support this spot simply because the food was refreshing and good. Lately, the quality has decreased tremendously, chicken portions have gotten smaller and the taste has deteriorated meanwhile the costs have gone up. A lot of of the stuff doesn't taste fresh like before. Will no longer be ordering from here.

Amazing little Middle Eastern spot tucked in the corner of Whitestone. They have some seating but it's mostly a take out spot. My go to dish is the chicken sharwma platter over rice with a side of beets, hummus and potato salad. The chicken is so tender and packed with flavor and the rice is light and aromatic. The falafel is the best in Queens! Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

This is one of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant I have ever been! They have very quality, healthy and delicious variety of food with pretty affordable prices and extremely good amount. ingredients, store cleanliness, professionalism of staff is extraordinary! Highly recommended

The food was good and fresh but I won’t be back. They charge you for everything they can. A little sauce on the side - boom extra, pay with a card - bang extra (without as much as a warning …). Before you know it, you eat a street food in a fast food restaurant for $20 per person .

My go-to spot every time I’m in this neighborhood! I love a healthy yet tasty option and this place got it right! It was my first time trying couscous (did you know that couscous is more of a pasta than rice?) and I love it. Everything taste refreshing! Love their salad sides, especially Katan Katan. Their green drink is good, however its sweeter than I’d like.

Found this place by mistake, but it’s the best mistake I’ve ever made lol. It’s great for Vegetarians & vegans and they have also chicken and beef for the meat lovers . falafel I’ve ever had hands down and great vegan shawarma. Last but not least greatest malabi I’ve ever tasted.

Food is good... But price is absurd. $17 for a pita shawarma? Even if it's kosher.... That's an INSANE price. Edit after owners response: I understand that ingredients might be expensive and that everything is made in house. But when I pay this much money for a shawarma platter and get mostly rice I don't feel like coming back. Even the kosher spots in orthodox jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn have cheaper platters.

Let me tell you about Nana. I have to say, I have a PHD in sharwma and middle eastern/Isrealy food. It is off the chart. Portions are so generous. I am not going to write an essay about it. Take a chance and try it. You won't regret it. You can see my other reviews. I am hard to please.

We were really looking forward to trying it being it has great reviews. The food was good came a little cold. Also it is completely overpriced. The chicken shawarma is $18. Yes they give you 2-4 sides included in that price however they are very small portions. It would be better if you could get the main course alone with out sides for $10 that would be reasonable. Overall the food is good, definitely worth trying once.

I wish there was a sixth star to give. I just had the pleasure of eating at Nana Good Eats. Where can I possibly start. First off I was greeted by the Owner (Josh) and creator of these very delicious tastes of heaven. His daughter Ofir immediately asked if I had been there before, to which I replied no. Definitely my loss. I'm 50 feet away every day but did not realize what delicious creations are just beyond the entrance. This place has something for everyone (carnivore, vegetarian, vegan, gluten sensitive, Kosher and halal permissive. But most of all for those that appreciate delicious food with the freshest most selectively chosen ingredients. After a few samples I was ready to dive in. I will let my pictures do the rest of the review.

The food was excellent here. Fresh, healthy, and hit my pregnancy craving the right way! It’s hard to find vegan food that’s not a chemical packed vegan burger/ meat substitute, but here I can get good priced, quality, natural food when I don’t feel like cooking. The fries, falafel and Salatim sandwich are my favorite things here. The salads that’s go in the sandwiches are amazing. I had to take a star off for the bratty cashier that took my order when I was here last. She looked bored, irritated and said “uh-huh” or “yea” after every word that I said when I was ordering my salatim sandwich, as if to be like “yea ok hurry up” which threw me off a little. She was one “uh huh” away from me giving her the same sass she was giving me right back. She had brown wavy/ curly looking hair and was very young looking. She left shortly after we were finished eating so I guess she was itching to leave, but that’s no reason to be rude to a customer who’s just trying to clarify their order/ order correctly. I believe the owner/ one of the owners was there, and she was very kind.

This small restaurant offers delicious Israeli cuisine to go with a limited seating area. The variety of salads were all incredibly fresh and the silky hummus was just perfect. I recommend this for healthy and tasty food. Look forward to returning soon.

I don’t think I’ve ever had better Hatzilim aka Babaganoush. I am very lucky to live near this place. My only complaint is subjective; When I order a hot dish, most of the “fresh” ingredients such as salads and vegetables/pickles will be ice cold. Something about the temperature difference just makes it less appetizing. I understand that this is because of refrigeration and it’s not necessarily “bad.” It just detracts from otherwise how amazing the entire experience is - really good food that’s mindfully prepared .

I was blown away by how fresh & well seasoned everything was, honestly seasoned perfectly. The portions were great too, and not a single dish dissapointed in any way. My favorite food place in Whitestone so far, I'll be returning very often

Amazing establishment! The food is fresh, the facility is clean, and the staff is friendly! You can tell they really put their heart and soul into it. No stone is left unturned and the attention to detail is there and apparent. In a place where there are so many Italian, Greek, and Asian food options, this place is a pleasant change and a staple in my rotation. Stop reading this and just go there already! You won’t regret it!

The best falafel in Queens/ Long Island. True Israeli flavors, super fresh and the mushroom dish is simply the best. We eat here since the placed opened and the food is always fantastic.

Nana Good Eats provided vegetarian catering for a 50 person birthday celebration I threw for my husband. Everyone, even committed meat eaters, raved about the food. Ginous was great to work with in planning the menu, and the delivery was exactly on time. We have also eaten at the restaurant and enjoyed it. Their special frozen lemonade with fresh mint is the most refreshing summer drink in existence. I highly recommend Nana's!

I always get food from Nana and it’s always delicious. But I’m very disappointed that the last 2 orders haven’t been great. Last time I ordered, I found 2 hard, inedible pieces (possibly a bone) in my chicken shawarma platter. I stopped ordering for about 2 months because I was turned off. I decided to give it another try today, and there was a hair in my platter (on the white pickled cabbage). Never ordering from here again.

This place is gem in Bayside/Whitestone. I am a falafel fan and every time I get a falafel sandwich I look for freshness of ingredients, fresh out of the oven pita bread, crispy and freshly fried falafel balls packed with taste and nutrition, hygiene, the way they treat and handle food and choice of ingredients. This place is a 10/10 on all those parameters, they let you customize it and the price is totally worth it. What else do you want? Go get yourself some falafel!!! :)

I ordered the falafel pita, limonana, and zaatar fries. The food and service was 10/10. Staff was super super nice, food was ready quickly, and absolutley delicious. The falafel pita portion was perfect, the potatoes were obviously cut there (not frozen), and the limonana was fantastic. Very rich textures and tastes. My family is from Israel and this place is super authentic and as close to the taste of home that I can get in Queens. I cannot wait to tell all my friends about Nana and try the rest of their dishes! Bonus: IT IS KOSHER!

Ok. Normally I would complain about the $15 for a falafel platter bc in the city it's about $10-12 only, but I guess the demand for Israeli/Mediterranean food is low in Whitestone, so prices are a little higher. But, guys, the food is delicious! The falafel is so good and they give you so much rice with it. I also got their hummus, beets, cauliflower, and babaganoush, and Ohmigod. They're all so good. I hope they stay in business bc I'm honestly so sick of the pizza and take out Chinese food that's available in this neighborhood. Glad to see them in the hood.

My first time eating the food here. We ordered online and went to pick it up. It was about a 10 minute wait and the results were worth it. The food is extremely good! Give it a try you will be so happy to eat something different than pizza, burgers or Chinese food. So fresh, a real treat and very good sized portions. We ordered a dinner for two and had enough food for three. The people that work there are also very nice and will go out of the way to make you happy. Thank you for a great dinner!

Ill start off by saying the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and the owner is there for quality control! Huge tip if you want to enjoy this food to its top quality eat it fresh and hot and not uber eats. We got the falafel platter, mushroom shawarma platter and beef in pita. All delicious , the sauces and salads super fresh and the Green mint lemonade was surprisingly refreshing. After reviewing some comments it’s safe to say you can’t satisfy all and some are fake but this place deserves 5 stars. Also super easy parking! I recommend. - David

We hosted a Mini Yoga retreat and hired Nana Good Eats for catering. From the first conversation we fell in love with Ginous. She was really informative, friendly, warm and encouraging. We tried the food (which is AMAZING) the first time we went in. The falafels are the best falafels we'd both ever had. I had a hard time not saying yum after each bite. We had a nice spread at the retreat that everyone raved about. The delivery person arrived right on time also. The whole experience was perfect. Thank you Ginous!!
