THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. INSURANCE FRAUD. The receptionists were rude on the phone when I tried to make an appointment. I figured theyā€™re having a bad day Iā€™ll give them the benefit of the doubt. I had an 11am annual appointment and waited an hour in the waiting room. The receptionists were still full of attitude. Once I was through the woman was nice but I was told 5-10 minute wait to see the doctor. I waited 25 more minutes wearing the paper robe. It should not take 2 hours for an appointment. My appointment for 11am I did not see the actual doctor until 12:30. I left out the door 1pm. I was then told I need to come back to the office for my lab results. I asked before I left if the follow up could be done over the phone and was denied. When they called me the day before to confirm I asked if they could disclose my results over the phone I was again denied. So I went to the appointment and I sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes until the receptionist called me up and asked me what I am here for. Itā€™s literally on the screen in front of her. I tell her I am here because I was required to come in person to review my test results. She told me that they need to charge me $70 to read me my test results. Since this is my second time back in one year my insurance now charges a copay of a specialty visit price. She said she cannot read my results over the phone and that I needed to pay the copay in order to receive my lab results. THAT IS ILLEGAL. THIS IS A LITERAL SCAM. I have been to dozens of gynecology offices in three different states including NJ and this has never happened to me. It is clear that as a patient our time is not considered important here. What they do value is the money in their wallets.

I would give 0 if I could. The doctor herself was fine but office staff was HORRIBLE!! I waited for over an hour. After my appointment they called me about my results but couldnā€™t give over the phone (understandable) and scheduled me to come review in a week. Of course I couldnā€™t wait a week to get results, especially when the tone of the receptionist indicated something was wrong. I went in that day and while waiting for the Dr. I asked the nurse to tell me the results. She said she canā€™t tell me I have to wait for the Dr. (again, makes sense - not complaining about that) and after 45 min of waiting I asked the nurse - ā€œcan you at least tell me; is it bad??ā€ She smirked and said ā€œyesā€. I was freaking out - thought I had cervical cancer. Finally saw the doctor and she said - everything looks great (!!!) I was thrilled and relieved of course but told her what the nurse said. She said, oh you have an infection - SUPER MINOR - and it had already cleared. I was shaking and could not believe I had to go through that. Save yourself anxiety and heartache. Donā€™t go here.

I did a lot of research before decided to visit this clinic. However, I didn't look up the Google reviews (my fault). So far, I have been to this place for four times. I have met the nurse practitioner during one of my visits and Dr. Hou during the other. And the 3rd time was with the ultrasound technician. I would say overall this place was not up to my standards and I am on the fence to switch to another the provider if it's not for Dr. Hou and her medical assistant. Dr. Hou was professional and was able to explain my medical situation to me clearly. She was very friendly as well. I would love to have a doctor like herself to deliver my baby. Yes, 5 stars for Dr. Hou. However based on my other experience, I just could not give this place more than 1 star. 1. During my most recent visit about 3 weeks ago on a Monday, the lady at the reception was pretty rude. She was rushing to get lunch so she rushed my check-in. And right before she put on her jacket and went for lunch which was more than 30 minutes past my scheduled time, I asked her when I will be seen. She was like there were two patients ahead of me and gave me a dirty look then rushed out. 2. As I mentioned in point #1, I had to wait for a long time to see the doctor which on average about 1 hour. I think I might as well come in an hour later next time. 3. The check-out process was a disaster. I was told that I was too close to her and I had to back out. And I asked if the prescription can be sent to CVS Caremark. It has been twice already that the assistants didn't know what to do. One of them even told me that it's not her responsibility. Only one person in the office was able to help and knew what she was doing but she wasn't there when the second incident happened. This had never happened to me before with other clinics and hospitals. I called CVS Caremark and ask them if I can send the prescription and the answer was no which has to come from the doctor directly. 4. I was not able to check my test results on the portal. What was the point for me sign up an account if everything is on paper? It's 2022 and I hate waste paper. 5. The nurse practitioner seemed very inexperienced. During my first visit, she made mistakes during the ultrasound exam. I can see her hands were shaking. And she didn't know how to operate the machine. "Luckily" there was an assistant in the room with her but she was just standing there and watching her suffering instead of proving help. I thought they were on the same team. 6. Before my 2nd visit which was an ultrasound exam session, I was asked to drink lots of water and wait. I told the technician that I was ready but because she was on a personal phone call, she told me to wait another 10 minutes to fill up my bladder. I was like I would pee in my pants if I wait any longer. But I still waited patiently for her to finish her phone call. 7. I am not sure why I was asked the same medical history questions for both of my visits. Both visits were only 3 weeks apart. I saw the technician entered my information in the system both times. It's annoying to keep repeating myself. 8. The same lady at the reception tried to charge me a $50 copay (glad that the doctor's assistant stopped her.) and charge the other patient the same (she was supposed to be charged for $30). 9. When I tried to call the office, I was put on hold for more than an hour and eventually someone hang up on me. Then I called back said "you hanged up on me". She said "yes, I did" as if she did the right thing. As I am typing out this review, I am still on hold. I want to talk to them so I can transfer my record to a new doctor. I am so done with this place. Please stay away from this place.

I would not recommend trusting this poorly-run place with your physical or mental health. To this date 2 months after checkup I have not directly received my annual lab work. My own primary physician had to demand it from Dr. Huiying Hou and found abnormalities that I couldā€™ve started treating long ago. I suffered multiple harrowing symptoms due to the lack of attention and professionalism from this clinic. It was a traumatic and upsetting experience to say the least. She apologizes for double-booking patients and the long wait time but it continues to happen. The front desk will tell you youā€™re in network when youā€™re not. I urge you not to pick this care. Their utter lack of empathy, awful patient treatment, and failure to take action based on every one star review on here says it all.

I came here 3 times and every time I was rushed out. Doctor told me I have PCOS and told me NOTHING about treatment. every time she said ā€œweā€™ll go over it next timeā€ even tho they had my test results. Made an appointment for endometrial biopsy and told me absolutely nothing about the procedure. Tried calling them multiple times before the procedure I either get put on hold for long periods of time or they just donā€™t answer. The day of the procedure they denied me any kind of anesthesia or pain management and told me I shouldā€™ve taken a Tylenol an hour before coming. I told them I will not move forward with the procedure unless I get any kind of pain management and they said ā€œokay so do it at the hospital.ā€ I asked the doctor if I can can have conscious sedation and she said ā€œI would rather u do it at the hospitalā€ This is a womanā€™s center that does not advocate for or care about women. Why am I being denied access to pain management but a man can go fully under for a procedure like a vasectomy? EDIT- My legal first name is Basnt... born July 2nd, 1997... And the fact that you did not ask the staff about this interaction and just resorted to telling me I am reviewing the wrong facility is VERY telling. I also just received a phone call telling me that I will not only need to do my procedure at the hospital but I have to schedule ANOTHER appointment with the doctor before my procedure. So pay another time for a visit that will do absolutely nothing for me. I paid a copay on the day of my procedure even tho I did not get my procedure done. What did I pay for? What did I wait over 2 hours for?

Forget about this place! They are just too busy for you! I'm new and tried to make an appointment for a well women exam. I called three times and was hung up 3 times!!!! If you are not taking new patients, that' fine but can you just say that nicely instead of hunging up??? Absolutely rude and unprofessional!!

The medical assistant is unbelievably awful. My wife was bleeding and needed immediate care, otherwise it is in high risk of miscarriage. The doctor gave us a prescription but the medical assistant did not notify the local pharmacy at all. We kept calling them and 3 days later, the medical assistant told us she mistakenly scheduled for next month!!!

I rarely post reviews but this one calls for attention. I do not recommend this place to any one in need of proper care. I was given a dosage of a hormonal pill to balance out my bleeding of 47 days. My initial copay of $50.00 was taken and I was told I would see a GYN and ultrasound. I had a referral and it was quite the opposite. No ultrasound and no and a sample of a pill that didnā€™t work. I spoke with the GYN to follow up and she recommended I go back for an ultrasound and biopsy. I took off of work to take care of my health and when I get there they didnā€™t acknowledge me at the front desk told me to be in by 11 only to have me wait till 11:30am to tell me I have to pay them $100 for the visit. I said bill me I have to run to the bank to get a new card and itā€™s a rainstorm. I misplaced my card over the holiday. They said weā€™ll go to the bank will keep your spot. You mean to tell me I have to leave to go to the bank and pay you again for a job that wasnā€™t done on the 1st visit. Itā€™s not about the money itā€™s about the values and how I was mistreated. Itā€™s about the lack of knowledge and how not to treat a client in pain. So I explained you mean to tell me I have to move my car when thereā€™s no parking and go get you money to be seen , when Iā€™ve missed work twice and still nothing has been done. I called my doctor and asked for a new referral to a GYN that has more common sense to hire imbeciles working for them. No thank youā€¦ my time and money was wasted and I deserve my compensation back for my aggravation, time and money.

Doctor Kim and Doctor Hou are amazing women, they helped me with my first pregnancy. They have given me the best possible care and advice throughout my pregnancy journey. Doctor Kim and Doctor Hou have patiently addressed all my concerns with care and love. The front end staff are amazing and they scheduled all my off center visits to other medical centers, prompt in addressing my calls. Definitely recommend Jersey city facility for all women

Dr. Ramirez is the best and most caring doctor ever! Since the moment I got married and needed birth control to the delivery of all my four children (fourth one currently on the way) she has done an excellent job taking care of me physically, emotionally and mentally through all my doubts, questions, concerns, fears, issues, complications. She is marvelous! As expected, emergencies come up with OBGYN doctors and when these have happened I saw Dr. Hou and she is awesome as well! I love the full staff. Angie and Nataly, in the front desk became family! They are friendly, professional and with all the patients they still learn your name and recognize your voice on the phone. They are trully awesome!

Iā€™ve been seeing Dr. Hou for my past two pregnancies. The office is close to where I live. Dr. Hou and Dr. Kim are caring, experienced and professional. The receptionists and office assistants are friendly as well. The only part that I hope to improve is the wait time. Overall I recommend this place!

The waiting is long but worth it. Dr. Ramirez is the best!!! Best Dr, person, friend, human being. She treats her patients as her own family. She laughs or cries with the patients depends the situation. I love her, I had my 2 kids with her and was the best experience ever.

I wish that my review would be a pleasant, but unfortunately is it is not. The wait is ridiculous the staff cant seem to get together and did i mention the unprofessional and rude nurse practitioner. I had appointment for a follow up on MRI results after waiting an hours and half i had no choice but to leave and ask for her to call me back. I received a phone call hours later for her to just read word for word the results. When I started to ask questions she respond was " i thought that this was just me going over the results not turning into a discussion and i have a ride waiting for me and don't want them to wait" She is very rude unprofessional. She needs a class in bedside manner

This is a clinic I have gone to for a very long time. I fell in love with the ladies in the office, especially in the front desk and the laboratory. The areas which I interacted more. I trust them so much, they are always on point and if there is a glitch they are always ready to fix and address any matter with a smile. Natalie always on point. She operates and moves swiftly and efficiently in dealing with patients. Angee is very unique. Always greets and goodbyes with a beautiful smile. She makes you feel appreciated and wanted in the clinic. She coordinates all appointments and makes sure that you are satisfied before you leave the office. And Anne Phleb...she is the lab technician. The world needs a human being like Anne. She really takes good care of her patients and always makes you understand the reason for the tests. She is very nurturing. Dr.Hou is an amazing professional. But my Dr. Ramirez is exceptional. I would refer anyone to this clinic any day. I referred my sister to this Clinic on Central Ave. Location and she fell in love with my Doctor. She always tells me Dr. Ramirez girls have class and Dr. Ramirez one word that she often uses to describe her is "empathy".

Iā€™ve been with Dr. Hou for a couple of years now, and I can say she is great! Aside from doing what Iā€™m coming in for, she takes the time to ask me overall how Iā€™m doing. Iā€™ve had surgery done with her, which was another good experience with her. Staff can get busy, but thatā€™s normal at doctors offices. You just have to be patient :) I donā€™t intend on switching gynecologists any time soon!

I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. Save yourself the time and stress. I am a new patient. I had my appt for my annual on Feb 3rd. Doctor Ramirez was great. Her staff - look miserable. Itā€™s hard to reach them because they put you on a long hold each time. I got blood work and the annual done and she set up an appt the following week for me to get an ultrasound done. Which was done on the 9th. Here I am 3 weeks from my annual and bloodwork without any results. They had me make an APPOINTMENT to retrieve my results! So this is the 3rd time Iā€™m taking time off of work just to get my results. 2 weeks ago I did the ultrasound. I have never had to wait this long for results and never had to schedule an appointment just for the results. Now Iā€™m scheduled in tomorrow to get results. After 3 weeks of waiting and anxiety!

The amount of problems Iā€™ve had just from a normal annual gyno appointment is absolutely ridiculous. My insurance fully covers my appointment, yet I have $900 worth of charges from the office because they coerced me into getting blood work done. After telling the doctor and nurse ā€œnoā€ to blood work, the nurse continued to tell me it was necessary even though I had no reason to need it. Then I was gifted a $900 office bill along with lab result fees. As a WOMENS CARE office, you would think they would have respected my answer of ā€œno.ā€ Instead they took advantage of the situation and told me it was necessary and I trusted the doctor. I have spent hours on hold with the office trying to get these charges handled and nobody helps. They got rude with me and told me it was my fault when I was upset that they proceeded to do bloodwork after I said no twice. No woman should have to say no twice in any circumstance, let alone to your doctorā€™s office where you feel safe. I will never be going here again. I donā€™t understand how an office specializing in womenā€™s care could disrespect a womanā€™s right to say no. On top of it all, the doctor messed up a simple birth control prescription twice and now I have to handle that with my insuranceā€¦

Only good things is how nice Dr. Elizabeth is but besides that, long wait time, itā€™s been a week and they donā€™t have my results yet and also, I was prescribed a medication I CANNOT take and I told them this 3 times in the office. Terrible! Iā€™d never recommend it.

Requested a prescription for a chronic condition and seen within the past year. Refused to refill the prescription. Understandable if it was a new condition but insists to run tests even though the medication is a preventative. Requested the receptionist to relay the message and she in fact did not relay the message as I was on the phone. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A DOCTOR WHO IS UNDERSTANDING. They just want to charge for unnecessary testing.

I had a very poor experience with this medical provider who recommended surgery which was deemed completely unnecessary after a second opinion. Trying to get a hold of someone at this office is extremely time consuming, resulting in long hold times and impatient staff who hang up on you. I highly recommend using another medical provider if available to you.

Horrible front desk staff Zero customer service I have been trying to reach them they just pick the call and put u on hold . Never return The obligate h take an appointment to get ur test result and if I donā€™t then give the lab where u can check on line and guess ? Your test results are not there .? Bio Refference I agree to the othe comments horrible with the front desk I absolutely agree to this comment so situation This office is PATHETIC. They overbook like crazy! If Iā€™m going to a private practice, I except a high standard of care. So money hungry! The docs here are always rushing the appointments. Front desk is so unprofessional, they donā€™t even wear masks yet yell at you to wear one, and the blonde one needs to watch her attitude. Donā€™t get me started with the aide that take you info down. I had to deal with one who barely knows ENGLISH!!!! She Didnā€™t even know what I was talking about when I was discussing BASIC MEDICAL STUFF about my history. How are you in a doctors office AND DONT KNOW ANYTHING MEDICAL. They obligate you to make an appointment for results! I simply asked for bloodwork and ultrasound to be ready for me just to pick up as I understand the majority of the things and they refused until I made an appointment! Englewood health and RWJBH ALWAYS call me for my results and they even email them!!! If I wouldā€™ve known that from the beginning I wouldā€™ve just went to labcorp and used an outside radiology place that gives you the results in 3 days instead of 2 weeks! Just so you know they DO NOT have the right to withhold lab results until an appointment, they CANNOT withhold your test results. Donā€™t go They see ur nos and disconnect I can share the phone call log How many times today earlier I have called I just need my test results I do t wish to see the doc and 60$ As it counts to be specialist

Iā€™ve had great experiences from the very beginning of my pregnancy. Dr. Kim and Dr. Hou are friendly and personable taking their time answering questions and providing guidance which reassure me each time. From the lovely ladies up front who always greet me with friendly smiles and conversations to the phlebotomist, you can tell they take pride in their roles and they support every woman walking in. Iā€™m glad I did my research on this place I know my growing family is in excellent, capable hands.

This office is money hungry. I have been presented with bills over a year old, that I had never been informed about prior. I was told each time that I wouldn't be seen if I didn't pay the $125+ bill. The first couple times I complied and paid the bill. This time I was made to pay a $50 appointment cancelation fee because I refused to pay a 2+ year old bill that I was learning about for the first time. Plus I refuse to waste my annual visit on an office that will just find a way to give me a surprise bill next year. Their communication is terrible, their patient care is questionable and their wait times are over an hour long. I will never return. I'm so upset that I had to pay them a cancelation fee when they were the one's who refused me service! Beware

!!!!! WHATEVER YOU DO DONā€™T GO HERE!!!!!! As a matter of fact do not even waste your time calling this place. The staff is completely unprofessional and rude. I donā€™t know where they find these people. I had called to make an appointment here. I kept being transferred to different extensions and then got hung up on. I called this place more than 5 times just to make an appointment. One of the staff members named Maria kept answering the phone and honestly I donā€™t know why should answer if she is just going to hang up! Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If this is how they are on the phone I can just imagine what it would be like to actually go to this place. EVERYONE save yourselves the time and look elsewhere. Its not worth it.

Let me start by saying I am 27 weeks pregnant and have not seen neither of the doctors as of yet!! Every time I schedule an appointment I am with a nurse practitioner. Each time I have an appointment I wait over an hr to be seen. Today was an important appointment for me due to my job being so demanding I thought I'd be able to speak to the doctor on a plan..I also was supposed to receive my prescription for Rhogam for my 28th week which is crucial for the survival of my child. I expressed how important it is and No one cares!! I arrived for my appointment at 10am and 2 hrs later I still was yet to be seen. Staff kept stating the doctor would arrive shortly with no other updates. I understand things happen but this is very unprofessional. I have been more than patient because I figured I would be able to see a doctor as I got further along in my pregnancy since I had no issues until recently...but have yet to be seen. To add ... Each time I go to an appointment I am told that blood work or certain test should have been performed the prior appointment. For example, today I was told my glucose test has not been done & should have been already and that I should come back tomorrow and do it (as if I don't have a prior engagements) and then I was sent back to waiting room... this place does not care about your care, your time or your child. I tried my best to ignore the negative reviews but should have known better. I am very disappointed with the care I have received thus far & if it isn't too late will be looking for care elsewhere. Your health should be their priority! ! And until it's proven otherwise.. this review with stay.

I went here for my annual checkup, and after a long wait time, I got my checkup done. They asked me to drink a lot of water for the ultrasound, and in the end, they said oh, water is not needed. I was okayā€¦. Then they charged a 90$ copay for the ultrasound, and I was like, okay. I was then given an appointment to receive my results today. I never understood why canā€™t they update results on an app. App only has appointments and no results associated. When I went today, I was asked to pay a 60$ copay - for what? They just gave me 4 sheets of results and said everything was okay. In summary, they charged me 60$ copay to just give 4 printed sheets. Now I read all the reviews, I see others also had the same issue. Itā€™s my bad I didnā€™t read reviews first. I felt like I was scammed as mentioned by others in reviews.

Overall very welcoming experience, looking forward to my next visit.

I give 5stars to the doctor but waiting time is too long for ultrasound when compared to doctor visit. They allowed me after 2 hours of waiting for ultrasound. Patients with later appointment time where send first and I was waiting for my turn. If known ppl comes first with later appointment time, they were given priority then whatā€™s the point of allotting appointment times. Itā€™s totally ridiculous. Biased attitude of reception ppl working there. Kindly value others time and situations. You have no idea what other patient goes through. If not possible to send patient according to appointment slot then better remove the routine of asking to book appointment time. Ask everyone to walk in without appointment time.

The best womenā€™s care office in the area. Dr. Hou is knowledgeable and cares for her patients. Iā€™ve had the best experience and care here. Itā€™s really important you feel comfortable and cared for during pregnancy and this office goes above and beyond to do that. Highly recommend!!!

Completely wasted. my time and apparently totally incompetent. After making an appt to get my iud removed, waiting weeks, finding coverage at work, paying $19 in Ubers, they say I need a check up first and have to reschedule. This is something they could have told me on the phone in advance instead of totally wasting my time and money. The girl wasnā€™t even apologetic. I would never trust them with my heath or body after displaying this much indifference. No wonder or has 2 stars on Yelp.

I had my appointment at 3pm, was seen by a NP at 5pm! Totally unprofessional! The NP was very nice and made me feel confortable but the staff management was a disaster.

This office is PATHETIC. Donā€™t go here!

My wife had a poor experience from her first visit. She is a cash patient and they are billing us over $1300 for bloodwork she never knew she was getting. They told her the bloodwork she needed was only maybe $200 but they donā€™t explain anything and are horrible when itā€™s come to picking up the phone and donā€™t seem to care when they do pick up

The doctor is wonderful. However, the wait time is ridiculous. Waited OVER an hour to be seen. And, whatā€™s worst is the wait is always over an hour.

The Administrator Mr. Marcos called me about my review and explained to me that this office is actually open some Saturday's. I appreciate they took the time to called me to explain the situation.

The people were so friendly. The wait in the room in my paper wardrobe dress freezing for 1 hour . No one stop in to tell me I will be waiting that long . My exam was 10 mins ..
