Mediterranean is the best… (we all know that) and this place is just the perfect example! Delicious Turkish/ Greek specialties, reasonable prices and lovely staff. Easily on my top 3 favorite restaurants in JC!!

Great service from Isabella and great, simple, Turkish food. Nice babaganoush, excellent filo cheese straws and the mixed grill chicken, shish kebob and gyro beef/lamb mix meats were moist, flavorful and perfectly cooked. If you fancy a nice hint of spice and good ingredients, Efes is worth your custom.

Wow not only the food is amazing but also personnel is so friendly. Turan Mert helped us a lot to choose our food and he served us a cup of Turkish tea free. Prices are also so affordable according to the region. While we were eating, many delivery people came and their food is also ready each and every time. So Efes is great choice not only for dining in but also delivery. We definitely will come back!

This is probably the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the NYC / NJ area! Very cozy spot with amazing service - everyone who works there is SO friendly and sweet. Their food is fantastic! We have been there three times and have ordered in as well and have absolutely loved it every single time! We are partial to their chicken Adana kabab - it is fantastic so definitely give that a try when you visit. Highly highly recommend!

We came here for lunch and enjoyed the food and the layout of the restaurant. We got the grilled chicken plate, doner plate and the hummus. We ordered small plates, but if you are pretty hungry then go for the large option. Although, the price is pretty steep for a lunch. The best thing we tried was the Turkish coffee

My wife and I have tried the following from here so far: Lamb shish kebab, chicken pirzola, lamb Adana yogurt, chicken kebab, cheese burger. Everything has been absolutely amazing in marination/flavor and properly cooked. Fresh and good portion. Please don’t change anything. Chicken pirzola in my opinion is x10 better than the chicken from peri peri.

Pros: - Lamb shish was very juice. The small plate fit me perfectly so I didn’t have to make choice between either wasting food and eating leftover. Yea, they let you order small plate even dinner, that’s awesome! Also love their starting bread over the pita. Very soft and warm. - Whole fish is also highly recommended. - No need to wait for seating even at peak hours Cons: - Waiters and waitresses are friendly but you may not get any attentions as no one at counter - Not recommend the specialty dish of Chicken Okra Casserole. Flavor is good however the chicken is very tough.

My third time here. Food is great, and the service is very attentive. They have good kebabs, and some other traditional Turkish stew dishes that you don’t often find in other Mediterranean restaurants. I’m surprised this place is not more busy on a Friday night. I really hope they will do well.

Really good Turkish spot. If you’re interested in well cooked meats with a balanced side of rice and salad I say you go for this. The mixed grill has chicken, lamb, and beef gyro cut into a platter like base and topped with white sauce (tzatziki sauce) and other sauces if preferred. The falal with hummus was also a good dish to try, the hummus was made very well. A must try spot!

first of all my husband ordered the gyro I thought was gonna be nasty be gyro meat is always meh and dry . But WHAT???!!! Most juicy fatty delicious gyro ever !!!! So much flavor jn everything we got . Definitely coming back 10/10 and nice staff as well

A hidden gem worth finding! This is absolutely the best mediterranean food I have found in the area, with good portions and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Staff is literally so sweet & considerate, I’ve become a regular. In Ramadan they gave me a free date to open my fast & on graduation I brought my family & they loved the ambiance! A little pricey but worth it in my opinion. Smaller portions than other Turkish places but the food sits heavy so it’s perfect for me personally. We love their chicken Adana kebabs & the kunefeh served hot keeps me coming back every time!

Extremely small portions! I ordered to go 2 things 1. Tabuli salad for 10$ 2. Liver for 16$ If you go to any other Mediterranean restaurant, the food portions are much, much bigger. It was my First and last time eating there. Food quality is okay 👍

Don’t forget to order kunafa ! It’s Absolutely Delicious. The waitresses were so lovely.

I just moved to the area and haven’t settled in just yet so I’ve been ordering out more than usual. This place is a safe haven for vegetarians. The falafel platter w/ rice is awesome and the lentil soup is unique and outstanding - my favorite restaurant in Princeton.

The food here was so good!!! And they have you a lot of food too. The staff was extremely nice and always kept checking in to see if we needed anything else. Will be coming back here to try other dishes for sure!!

I was in love with the appetizers , it was amazing to visit and eat these great foods . I am really appreciated for the service also for amazing sincerity. Sea Bass was really fresh and well grilled. Don’t forget to bring your raki when you are going to visit EFES . Thanks for everything guts well done .

We had the mix grill and both chicken and lamb were moist and delicious. Both of the side sauces - the spicy red and the yogurt one flavorful and paired well with the chicken and lamb. The grilled chicken is among the best we have had across the world.

Ordered the zucchini pancakes, falafel plate and grilled chicken. Everything was subtle and tasty, with its own unique taste. Reasonably priced place with good food and ambience. They also serve an ample complimentary pita and other bread which are really tasty.

Very good food and amazing service. Its a must try place. The menu was different than regular Mediterranean menu and thats good. Loved the variety. We had Etli Bamya(the curry), Manti Dumplings, Babaganoush.
