Worst, Rude, unprofessional Banquet Managers (Amit and other guy - shiv). They spoiled the decoration and after complaining they started shouting during the event(to hide their own mistake). Even after multiple request to come out and talk they prefer to create scene in front of all the guests. Very unprofessional, illiterate, unmannered.

Terrible experience in staying this hotel . Following 3 major issues 1. Hotel reception was asking for photo ID of kids. Nowhere nowhere ever asked this in the past. In fact they told check in is not possible. I asked for escalation but that did not worked either. Next level escalation did not helped as the person was repeating same . 2. Car taxi mafia travel desk . - talking to one person then another and another in travel desk. I found the variation of price to be paid for same type of car, same distance, same timing had variance of 40% 3. Car taxi Driver Misbehaving- car taxi driver as promised was paid the amount. I requested to get best driver who drives without any hassles. A rude driver was given who do not want to drive as per our schedule. Pathetic experience especially if someone has spend thousands just to be messed up by reception and car driver. Definitely not at standards of Sarovar

Hotel is near to railway station. Rooms are aa quite small but we'll maintained. Hotel staff was very responsive and polite too. There is a buffet for breakfast that has plenty of varieties of food with delicious and quality. There is only one downside of hotel I found is the basement area where the parking has no lift. So the lift facility is recommended for hotel. And my overall experience is quite good, will come again soon 😊. There is a small cafe 'Bake and Brew' in ground floor near reception area.

Worst Experience in terms of Staff and their Arrangement. Please keep a track of whatever package is selected and get then in writing for any slight change because at time of Check Out, they will upfront reject the same especially Front Office. Don't mark and take their verbal words unless in writing. Rest Rooms and Location is good.

I will review this place in 2 categories. 1. Hotel to stay 2. Fine Dining 1. Hotel to stay Its a wonderful place to stay for both work and pleasure. Rooms are nice. Staff is attentive and courteous. Place has one decent bar and one all day dining restaurant. The only issue is lack of maintenance, which, I fear will make this hotel go down in few year. I noticed *decline* in maintenance quality, in general everywhere. Like dust and dirty cousins in restaurant. 2. Fine Dining As, I mentioned, place has one bar and one restaurant. I strongly recommend that you must go to both places. Bar has nice ambiance and restaurant at lobby level is a perfect place for dinner. Chefs and servers are in general very courteous and willing to make food as per your mood and hunger I had particular interaction with Chef. Mr. Sanjesh and server Mr. Sandip. Both are wonderful! They did everything to make sure our anniversary celebration goes well. Even for my breakfast Mr.Sandip helped to get customized tea. Thanks to everyone.

Very good hotel right in heart of city, very close to Jhansi fort. Do check their website for room prices, you may get much cheaper option. Room service and staff were great.

My Google Review # 000252. This property seems to be acquired one, but, the interiors and service are uniquely of Sarovar. Let us get to the details quickly… The rooms are spacious. We booked 2 rooms for the entire family and both were big, clean, neatly done up and had proper desk for all of us to work on… The beds and bath amenities were super comfortable and we could properly rest after a long 8-hour drive on the highway. The buffet – dinner and breakfast - was also presumptuous with a good variety. But the excessive cooling was spoiling the mood. The cuisine was getting colder by every minute. Seems they forgot to put up the burning coal beneath these utensils. We ordered for fresh rotis and it took the staff ages to get it to us. By the time, the rotis were served, the accompaniments – dals, sabji etc – turned colder. My free advice – avoid the buffet dinner. The service was good or should I say typical Sarovar-like. Have been staying in their numerous outlets and their service is good. Tariff is a run-down and suits the setup of this property with a city category of Jhansi. Worth a stay. Worth a visit. And yes, the view from the rooms is not very exciting. So, better draw the curtains and enjoy the space. Date of Experience: Sep 2021.

Everything except staff's response is fine. They have zero sense of urgency. Before checking out, I had called for help in shifting my luggage, but did not recieve the same for next 15 min. I had to leave urgently so came down carrying 3 baggages on my own. At the counter too, the response was similar.

Good five star hotel at jhansi civil lines Earlier here use to be natraj cinema hall ,that's why natraj sarover portico , comfortable rooms with good food ,most convenient prome location to stay

It is a good place to stay in a small city like Jhansi. However, they need to maintain their property. I found some of the walls in my room had stains. Food was good. Valet parking within the premises. Courteous staff and quick room service. Ambience perfect.

This hotel is the best in the city, found staff was helpful, and ready to help. Rooms are with full of modern ammenities, rooftop pool and gym is well equipped.

I have visited this place several times for buffet dinner, parties and had an amazing experience everytime! But last time I went when Lucknow Food Festival was held, it has many varieties of Lucknavi food, live music, selfie points, pool side dinner and many more..I always like their hospitality and varieties in their food.

Exotic vibes, amazing food, excellent services, rooms were clean and well organized, staff was well behaving, polite and we were getting late in the middle of the night and they were so supportive to quickly arrange a vehicle. Swimming pool and other amenities made our trip memorable, their welcoming gesture was great. True luxury with prices justifying standards. Looking forward to book portico for any new location we will visit in future.

A long stay in Sarovar Portico. Room is clean and well maintained. Lacks view .. Prompt House - keeping staff. Food is spicy and manageable. Spread of Breakfast and Dinner are decent. Staff in the Restaurant are prompt and very polite.

Staff had to be given instructions 3 times to do a work. And there is big problem of electricity. Every now and then there was electricity failure. Ofcourse which they don’t have in hand. Rest all was good. One star deduction for staffs response time.

Location is right on the station road...so pretty much busy junction road. Food stall on both sides of the road.shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel...Food spread is decent for breakfast...cannot say the say about dinner buffet

We had a fabulous experience for our 1 night stay in this hotel from Sarovar. Absolutely clean rooms and bathrooms. The four star quality is maintained everywhere ! The staff was polite and helpful. Walet parking available. Plenty of parking space available. The breakfast buffet was also tasty with good spread. You get south indian idly, uthapam to north Indian breakfast dishes. But a point to mention is the location. It's not very impressive. There is a theatre adjacent to it, and the night we had been there, there was some shouting and quarrels going on. This takes away the family atmosphere. And just outside premises of the hotel is too unclean and unwalkable.

Only Location and Restaurant is good... rest all is not value for money. 1. Swiming pool was closed for more than 2 wks and staff at reception had no clue about it. 2. Common area cleanliness was not upto mark. 3. Room cleaning and service needs improvement. 4. View from room was of a very C grade hotel.

Pathetic Services. No Power backup throughout the stay AC fluctuations. Slow Service, had to call every time for basic missing amenities like dental kit, towel & toilet roll, kettle was stinky, late order at restaurant. Throughout stay power fluctuations. Check-in time is 2 pm & took *2000 extra in the name of early check-in at 11 am*. Only 10 hours of stay that is 2 pm to 12 . Unbelievable. Had to wait for 1 hour every time we requested something at reception. Nobody was taking the responsibility of providing power backup..

Its a great place for corporate team outings and seminars. Well maintained facilities. Food was delicious. The staff was responsive and polite. The only downside was that there no lifts from the basement where the parking is. Although they do have a valet parking but the lift facility is recommended. Overall the experience was good. The buffet was great. Lots of variety and lots to choose from

An excellent place to stay at Jhansi. The ambience is good and the place is neat & clean. Rooms are user friendly and maintained nicely. Staff members are courteous. No smoking rooms are a constraint for smokers. The only area of improvement is in the restaurant/ breakfast hall where you may have to ask staffs multiple times to get something. Recommended for a comfortable stay.

Worth the price tag. Room quality was good, food was good too. We stayed for 1night and opted for buffet dinner and breakfast as well. Although the buffet spread was not huge, but definitely the items were well prepared. Also they catered to all our requests. We have a special child and he is very choosy about his food. They took care off all our requests. Special and genuine thanks to Mr. Surendra!! Keep up the standard guys..

It is always an amazing pleasure to visit nataraj. It never disappoint me whether its their service, ambience or food. Everything is perfect and fine. That place is one of my favourite to dine out. Those who have not visited kindly go once. You will love this place.

The property was good and food was awesome and rightly priced but as a hotel 🏨 the service standard wasn't upto the mark. I can't say it was bad but it wasn't awesome. I have to call the front desk for everything which should be already in the room like hand & bath towels, water bottles, bathroom amenities etc.

The room was nice. Pan Card is not a valid ID proof for them so carry other documentation. They offered the basic minimum - you can request for whatever more you need (for eg - 1 towel for a room with 4 guests) The bathrooms ran out of water and was sorted on request. Zero warmth in their service.

One of the best hotels to stay in Jhansi. It's located near to Railway Station and is situated in the middle of the market that has many eateries/shops around. The room size is good and so the food quality is decent. This hotel has a pool and a gym at terrace.

Pleasent stay with courteous staff. Though there was no valet at the time we came with our car, plus no porter so we had to unload everything ourselves. So maybe that is something they can work upon. The food is expensive but good. Also they don't allow outside food to be delivered by Swiggy or Zomato, so they are trying to have monopoly there. But definitely a great stay within Jhansi

I celebrated my marriage anniversary on 14th Feb 23 in your hotel near pool side venue.The food quality was very poor. Service And quality of snacks was not good.

Spotless, good service, but the taste of the food could be improved. Also, please respect the sentiments of the vegetarians , please keep the veg and non veg counters seperate. It is very difficult for us to dine there. I respect all food choices, but this way We vegetarians will have to stop eating in your hotels. The rest is all good.

The Food | Taste | Chemistry Resturant is not just about food .but when the Ambience and the support team makes it worth the restaurant. Thanks to Chief Alok Tiwari and Chief Sanjesh the food has a chemistry that they makes a wonderful experience. The food is just perfect to the taste. For children you can modify and freshly made . The Aanar Kali kofte with Panner tikka and soya chap what an amazing delight.

I booked this property for 3 nights and I regret it! Upon arriving I requested the front desk to break a 100 rupee note to pay the taxi guy. Rather then finding me change they gave me my money back and said we don't have change. I had To tell the front desk person to check with her colleagues. Her face had the expression of don't bother me. Finally she manged to get change. Rather than asking the security person to pay the driver she proceeded to hand me the money. I was given room 203 directly above their events room. Not even informed that I may experience loud music. I have been traveling for 15 days and had told the check-in person I wanted a high floor and quiet room. Hotel was only approximately 60% occupied this I learned later from their manager later. The GM was out of the hotel. Second in charge named Alok could not even properly communicate. I was left dealing with Amit and Shivam. Not exactly management worthy qualifications. The many issues I raised I was only provided apologies. Not even actions in some cases to remedy the issues. Dinning area staff, two particular staff members were so bad. I brought the issue to Amit and Alok. Not even the decency to pull up the staff for inappropriate behavior. No apology given! So this hotel benefits from local business but as for a traveler visiting Jhansi I would not stay here again. Unfortunately there are many decent options. This poor attitude stems from top management to bottom employees. This sort of old style chalte, chalte management needs to go!

Overall OK but the SLOWNESS and NON CHALANCE of service and the CARE LESS ATTITUDE of the staff is VERY DISAPPOINTING! NOT deserving of the Sarovar brand at all! Please pull up your socks - you can do much better!

The Rooms are good. However in the buffet they can add more options. The location was also not that amazing. No view from rooms.

Stayed fir a night on 19th Jan 2022 . Location cleanliness is super . 👌 Buffet dinner was very average with loads of oil in evrythg cooked though variety was limited too Breakfast variety was good and food too Saddest part was toiletries in room Erich they don't keep and force you to call and get evry single thg . Neither was soap , dental kit , shaving kit , green tea pouch provided unless asked . Upon asked also few thgs were forgotten Ours was a direct booking Overall a very average place ..

After a long train ride, I reached Jhansi at 10:30 PM. When I presented my documents for check-in, I was asked if the person joining me is a man. I was in Jhansi to meet my boyfriend, and I told them that. They told me to wait. Since my boyfriend was stuck somewhere and running late - I was all alone. I waited for over 30 minutes and approached them again. They told me that I need to leave (in a very rude tone, using those exact same words) because i married couple aren’t allowed to stay together. Again, I was all alone in a city like Jhansi at (now) 11 PM and the staff was asking me to get out. Eventually, I had to book another room for two entire nights so that we could stay there together. It became too expensive and not worth it considering the service. Food was okay. I frequently visit Jhansi and now just go for Lemon Tree.
