Ranisar and Padmasar are two twin lakes in Jodhpur. It's a tranquil & small. There is nothing to do. You just go, watch and spend some time. It's in Old city and I would suggest you to walk as you will see many beautiful blue walls.

This lake is unlike Ranisar, here there are no time boundations, but this place is a bit dirty as there is no one to look after, only that the people around here dump the holy flowers and all the materials which is an outcome of the devotional pooja of gods. As it is assumed that the holy remains of the pooja are to be dumped in source of water. But people throw that with plastic bags which ainтАЩt good for the water body. How to get here? Two wheeler or Tuk-Tuk (Autoriksaw). Picturesque place

The kings of that time had made ponds for drinking water, one of them was named Rani Sir and the other was named Padmasar. Even today the same water is used to supply the houses of the general public.

(Translated by Google) Ranisar and Padmasar lakes Many lakes in Jodhpur are famous for their architecture. Ranisar and Padmasar lakes are added to this list. These two lakes were built near Fateh Pole in Mehrangada and are very close to each other. Both of these ponds were built in 1949. The story behind the creation of these ponds is of great color. Rani Jodha, wife of King Rao Jodha, created this lake as 'Raniisar Lake', while Padmasara Lake was created by Rani Padmini by Rani Ganga as 'Padmasara Lake'. The construction of both these ponds is worth seeing. Many birds are also seen. The road coming here, however, is very unclean and has passed through the town. So no big vehicle can come to this place. The lake has a beautiful view of the back of the Mehrangada. • 3/5 Kumar S. 2 years ago on Google
It's okay kind of place. There is sewage water crossing through the pond and hence the water has turned a little bit dirty. But it's a one time visit. The road is a little bit uphill so that must be kept in mind.

A great place to just relax after spending most of your time in crowded places. It is a quiet and peaceful place to sit by the lake and feel the breeze. Best place to refresh your mood after a messy say at work. Tip: You can take something to eat with you and enjoy it there. Don't forget to take water with you and please don't throw the left overs there. Try to keep the place clean as it is.

It opens only after 4 o clock and a good place to visit where you get to see the entire city inner views like the traditional and the view of blue city while you travel through the route. There is next to it padamsar as well which is open entire day.

Mehrangarh was having 2 separate bathing places for royal families : Padamsagar for Males and Ranisagar for Females. Both are separated by a wall. Ranisagar comes under Mehrangarh trust so managed by private trust (hence well maintained and has fixed time for access). Padamsagar is managed by Jodhpur Nagar Palika and not that much clean and is accessible all time.
