A nice spot to get the Christmas feeling. Beautiful lights, accessible parking just next to the lights hotspot and number of security guards that gives a good security hopefully! Nice for kids to see nice Christmas decorated animals. A few nice statues/sculptures. Can be great to add more art pieces and benches for visitors to sit.

Just sharing some photos of the Christmas lights at Melrose Arch which we visit every year. Always fun for children and something to do during this lockdown period. Safe parking, some good restaurants (sadly many have closed) and probably the only Woolworths where there's no queue! 😂

Lovely relaxing place to chill with a book

Doesn't feel like Joburg. This place has the vibe of a European city square. Plenty of good eating options. Trendy stores. The Christmas lights have added an ethereal feel to the place.

One of the absolute pleasurable experiences to be had in Johannesburg. The district has a very heavily European town flair/influence sometimes you forget that you are not actually walking on a promenade in Europe somewhere. Excellent restaurants, I highly recommend paying Melrose Arch a visit.

Beautiful Business district composed of hotels, business offices, restaurants, banks and many more. It has an awesome vibe and energy with people from all walks of life mixing, transacting, collaborating, socializing, enjoying a meal and entertainment. Melrose is well managed and very secure even in the evening. There is plenty of shops for a variety of things and restaurants like my favorites Moyo’s, JB’s corner and many more. It’s a wonderful place to entertain guest from other provinces or international travelers. It’s easily accessible from the M1 highway and 30min away from OR Tambo airport.

We went for the Christmas lights. Fantastic fun for the kids, with plenty of picture opportunities. It was a little crowded though as it was a single road where most of the lights were. Lots of restaurant and shopping options (although only the food and drinks options are open in the evening).

Safe. Parking is usually in the basements. You’ll hardly find parking in the streets. Parking is fairly cheaper. Loads of restaurants. Walk around before you pick a restaurant so that you won’t regret

Melrose Arch is a feat of great architecture and provides a good setting to meet friends and family for a brunch or supper. The precedent set however to park the shiniest sportscars in front of shops and communal areas and the general “showy” nature of the establishment could be rethought of. Sometimes people just want to meet and enjoy a good meal at an ideal, geographical location.

Exclusive Books, Melrose Arch, located in HL19, Melrose Arch Shop, Johannesburg, very well maintained store with many options of books to choose from.

The place is safe at night you drink still you drop. That's how safe the place is. But you need to book your self a hotel room if you want to drink 🍸 don't drink and drive 😉

We were walking pass and my 5yr old daughter suggested we pop in as she wanted some books. The books are well packed and put into categories accordingly makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Friendly staff too I even bought a new bible after my little one got her books too.

It started as an expression, on cave art. Soon when we developed, sound, expression by sound, the words later. Moral of the story is, before let those words die again, our last chance to revive it, by habituating our kids with BOOKS!!! Its exclusively Available at Exclusive Books!!! Visit them!!

Interesting and good selection of books, however, it's relatively pricy when compared to online purchases or retail/warehouse book stores. The in-site reading table is limited with poor cleaning, staff are friendly and atmosphere is good.

Tranquility, cleanliness and other positive things at it's best. There's low commotion (obviously because of the high status of the place) and quality stores you'll rarely find at a township or town CBD mall. It's an option for those who want to enjoy shopping without even waiting for someone to pass. N.B ensure that you are pocket safe before visiting & you won't regret a single penny spend. I'm still thrilled seeing Starbucks coffee joint here. It was my first time seeing it.
