No pool as advertised. Poor condition of rooms. Toilet very loud constantly runs. Blood on our sheets. Door doesn't latch. Had to prop it shut with a chair. Channel guide incorrect. So many problems it's pointless to type them all out. Wish I could get my money back and go somewhere else. I'd post pictures but the option isn't available.

Most recent stay was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. But the breakfast and coffee have gone south. Horrible coffee. The building renovation looks great. Easy to get in and out. Wegmans across the street is a big plus

The pool/cake is a lie. This disappointed the kids because that is the main factor they look for. It’s a lie that they’ve been making for *months* and there are no plans for repairs. The gym (where the ex-pool is) is a neighboring business that they have an arrangement with and it’s great - especially the kid-care they offer. The gym is way better than any similar hotel would have. The linens are good. The breakfast is not good - super-8 level quality - except there is a cool pancake robot the kids like. Sugary everything. The staff around the hotel and at the gym are really great - friendly and helpful. Overall, for a quick place to sleep and a workout, it’s fine for the money.

Stated check in time is 3:00pm. We arrived at 7:30, and after 10 hours on the road were ready to relax. But, we were told our room was not ready, it had not yet been cleaned and they would get to it in about a half hour or so. When we told the desk clerk that not having a room ready 5 hours after check-in is unacceptable, her only response was, "I know". We went out and got dinner and came back. At 8:15 room still was not ready, she said they were in process of cleaning it. Then asked if we would like another room that was ready. We asked, if there were other identical vacate rooms that were already clean, why did she just not give us one of those when we arrived, but she had no answer.

Hotel staff are great and helpful, it is a little older hotel so there's gonna be some imperfections but over all it was a great stay andddd they even serve breakfast in the am!

Under the bed was horrifyingly cluttered with various leftovers of different guests; clearly the cleaning crew doesn't check under the beds. Pushy at checkout, even tho they weren't even remotely occupied / one of my biggest pet peeves with any hotel / motel.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially the young lady at reception. Our room was disappointing. The rugs were stained and appeared dirty, the knob falling off of the closet, lampshades ripped off, and linens stained. La Quinta allows pets, and that is their selling point! The free breakfast was fine, and deserves an extra star.

Fairly clean decent place to stay that offers free breakfast. Only down side is the advertised pool has no water in it. Staff was friendly and nice. Conveniently located.

Have stayed here two Saturdays in a row. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Both visits there were individuals who just hung out in the lobby. It was the same people. I'm guessing they may be residing there? That's fine but they make the point reek of marijuana. They seemed very friendly with the women at the front desk. The situation was just awkward and the smell of marijuana was very strong.

The room had a strange odor and the floors were not even approaching “clean”. After tossing three of the pillows off of the bed because they reeked of B.O., I was able to sleep. The bathroom floor was so poorly “cleaned” that I used every towel available to line the floor so I could use the shower. The toilet was leaking water around the poorly sealed base. I’ve typically had great experiences staying in many different LaQuinta locations around the country. LaQuinta Johnson City however, I won’t book there again!

First room we had was very unclean changed rooms and that was clean. Needs more attention to cleaning standards. Probably wouldn’t return

The staff at the desk were helpful and friendly. But the advertised pool and gym are NOT in the building. You have to cross the parking lot to The Court Jester to use the gym. The pool is closed, possibly permanently. while there for a few days, twice a maintenance person spilled paint the the main corridor outside my room. The staff frequently props open the stair tower doors, which is a violation of the Life Safety and Fire codes. Storing a gas powered snow blower in the stair tower is a hazard as well. The refrigerator was tiny. When I checked into a first floor room, I noted that the large window was not latched and slightly open with no catch to prevent the window from opening enough for someone to get in.
