Giving it a one star because u have to mark something to start this I would not even give it one star the pictures is nothing like it is . The rooms are outside not inside the smell would kill u bug spry is all it smells like . The room smelled bad as u walked out of out rook the ceiling had mold I took pictures. Not friendly at all checking in . The breakfast was a biscuit so hard and sausage was like rubber. Only thing good was coffee in the smallest cup they could find. So no I will not stay here no more and I hope you don't. Sidewalk was nasty liquor bottle everywhere. -5 stars is what I would give. And the 50.00 deposit was a surprise never said anything about it .

Stayed for 3 days for a stop over from a hiking tour to the trails around Johnson city. Clean, neat and the breakfast was amazing. Fresh towels, clean rooms, clean bed sheets and bathroom had a great pressure shower. Front of the hotel is a bit noisy during rush hour so if you are light sleeper get a room away from the main Highway. The corridor upstairs needs to be pressure washed and the garbage boxes need to be upgraded. We couldn’t get our empty food boxes in them. Also the door latch to lock on our door was broken. But the door locked worked. Lots of parking. Close to restaurants and convenience stores. The service was great. I called the front office for more towels. They brought them in 5 minutes. Thank you !

Came in to stay for the night in. The floors had not been vacuumed, needles in the cabinets, garbage under the beds, feces smudged on the toilet seat, huge smudges on the walls. The room smells funky and the light in the bathroom makes a horrible screeching and chugging noise. They allowed us to move to another room which was cleaner and stunk less.

I have stayed here as a medical traveler from January- October 2023. Great place to stay. I never had any problems. The room was always clean and stocked with fresh clean towels. I’m gonna miss this place.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The place is run down. The stairs were literally crumbling. The room was disgusting and smelled like old smoke/wet dog and a bottle of perfume. The second room was not as musty and was in better shape but still smelled like a bottle of perfume. I could no breathe in the rooms. I requested my money back due to not being able to breathe. They would only refund two of three days. So I paid for a night I could not stay there and had to book some place else.

If I could give this place a 0 then I would. It is advertised as a hotel and it’s a motel. First of all we had no clean towels and were told at the desk that there weren’t any clean ones. Second our toilet was broken and they told us there was no one to fix it when they are supposed to have a 24 hr maintenance crew. Don’t ever stay in one of these. I was with a group and everyone was dissatisfied. Terrible customer service as well

The beds were decently comfortable if you can get past the dirty sheets. The room was disgusting and now they won’t give me my $100 deposit back! It wasn’t even worth $79.22 and now they charged me $179.22!😡 DO NOT STAY HERE

This place puts on a show but it's run down and in disrepair. I did not use the bathroom linens(2 washcloths, 1 towel) they were so dingy. I could see sunshine even though the door was shut. No wifi password, 1 USB port on a lamp. Even for the price I paid, I expected better. This Motel property is outdated, neglected and junky.

I’m not a fan of rooms with exterior doors. We were unaware that they had separate buildings with only these types of rooms and no elevators. The rooms were spacious and I thought fairly clean until we found blood on a towel. They also allowed a group of people to sit outside the rooms on camp chairs and talk loudly well into the night. My biggest complaint is how the front desk clerk treated us. I was traveling with my husband and a friend who had a separate room. My friend has cancer. When she found out they put her on the second floor she asked that they honor the request she made at booking that she have a ground floor room. He looked at her and said “ARE YOU REALLY TELLING ME THAT YOU CANNOT WALK UP STAIRS??” She ended up having to explain to him that she has cancer. He responded to that - fine but she would have to pay extra. There were other patrons in the lobby that were outraged on her behalf. We were in shock that this guy made her disclose her private medical information and then was going to charge her extra. We were already paying double for the room because the price had dropped after we booked.

I had a great stay at the Baymont hotel in Johnson City, TN. As I am dealing with a family member in the hospital at the med center, it was nice to have such a relaxing and stress free stay. All the employees were so nice, the room was great, the breakfast was a notch above any continental breakfast i have ever had and the manager really made sure to accommodate my needs. I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone traveling through or to the johnson city area. I look forward to my next stay there.

There was only one employee that was of special experience to mention she was a 10 in ratings, but there was 2 men that should've never been hired for service with the public! I will never recommend this place to another. Our bathroom lights didn't work and couldn't get towels when needed them and was told where it was late when we got our room and it rained we could swim in the pool till 10:00 even though the pool closed at 9:00 that was why we was told we could swim till 10 o'clock a man came and put us out at 8:45 told us that we cannot swim the pool was closed even though we was told we could swim till 10:00 he was very rude not just to us but to other guests that was there!

Room was large and well furnished, bed was comfortable, very clean, hallways are bright and airy. Breakfast was more than adequate and there is a Waffle House next door.

This place is very dirty, and roaches, not clean for children. Beds dirty, coffee pot nasty. Floors need shampooing or ripped out. Everything was unsanitary and not clean, TV went off took a while to come back on. Key messed up couldn't get room.and the lady who checked us out was very rude.

Room was close to hwy so it was loud and smelled like smoke. The parking lot was laid out odd and one side of parking lot was so dark and sketchy looking we chose to park on the other side of building and walk further to the room. Did have a small fridge. Beds and towels appeared clean.

Bed was comfortable had all the amenities that are expected in the room!! The free breakfast was perfect, made a fresh waffle and had a biscuit with sausage gravy 😋

Bed Bugs! Saw other reviews online about their own issues with bed bugs but had to book because it was the only place available with the number of rooms we needed. Checked the sheets and mattresses and low and behold we found bed bugs on the matress in one of the rooms. Also, staff tried to charge us a higher rate than what we reserved for.

To begin with, I booked my reservation online, read the pet policy and explained I have an emotional support dog. I also called before coming to check into the property. Once I am here to check in, I’m told it’s going to be $40 a DAILY dog fee, I said this was not stated to me when I called asking about extra fees, but was forced to pay this anyways. Once I get to the room, the toilet was broken they did fix it, But more major issues this property has LOTS of HUGE roaches. They refuse to refund me my money, and the customer service has been absolutely horrible. I do not recommend this place at all. I explained to the man about my homeless situation, and why I had to keep expanding nights because I didn’t have the full amount to pay for a week. I have pictures and video proof of both hotel rooms they moved me into, Claimed my dog destroyed, only one sheet in the second hotel room when my dog doesn’t destroy anything. They kept my deposit when I did absolutely nothing against the policies. I have picture and video proof of the entire room and was still Refused my deposit.

The location and price were perfect. Getting eat up by bed bugs was not so perfect. I've stayed at this hotel before and never had an issue. The last time was in the remodeled side. This time, it was in the back building. I noticed a couple of bites on my shoulder after the first day, but I thought it was a spider bite. The second day, my legs were eat up, and there was no denying what it was. Definitely stay away from this place.

This place was nice and cozy. I like that there is balcony access. Also, you can bring your own grill and have a nice picnic. There is free WiFi for 1 day per device. I stayed for 2 days here and I received good sleep on both nights. They have free breakfast as well and that was decent.

No washcloths or towels in the room, bathroom floor and tub were sticky. Fluorescent light above the sink flickers and bathroom sinks are barely draining. Shower head and tile have mineral build up. Nearly impossible to leave the room quietly as the metal brackets seems to rattle loudly. The only saving grace was that both the late night and early morning desk people were very helpful and I was able to check out at 4am without issue. I also paid for a non smoking room on hotels.com and confirmed on arrival it was non smoking. The room had clearly been smoked in but of course I was charged the premium rate. I can deal with a little smoke but this seemed a little like a bait and switch. Would avoid this hotel.

Not bad as far as a motel experience. The bathroom stayed super cold all the time, and several fixtures were broken, but it wasn't terrible. Comfortable bed and your standard cable. This room was paid for by someone else, so I can not review the pricing at all, but I would stay here if I ever came to this area again.

Really wish I could give them no stars because they stole my money a second time, after they refunded me the first time!! On September 1st, my boyfriend and I didn't even stay at this hotel!! I had already signed the paperwork and paid. But the front desk clerk refused to let us go in the lobby because my boyfriend has a service dog. Clerk said no dogs in lobby. We said he's a service dog. We even showed him service papers. Even though that's against the law. My boyfriend is also in a wheelchair and he has a service dog. Again it's against the law to refuse a service dog, and someone that is disabled service. So I was able to get my bank to get me the refund the next day on the 2nd of September. Then the hotel recharged my card again on September 3rd. For a room we never got to see, much less stay in. Didn't even make it into the lobby.

This place doesn't even qualify for a single star rating. Customer service was not friendly at check-in or check-out. The rooms were horrible, the beds made cracking sounds like if on the verge of breaking the frame and falling through to the floor. Was not a good stay, the toilets did not flush, they brought a toilet plunger and said to use the plunger as we needed to. Half the room didn't have electricity, the towels were stained and hand towels at that for a shower! Staff was NOT friendly or were they willing to switch my rooms or reimburse the cost of the stay of a cancelation. Was never able to get ahold of the manager or compromise this mess of a stay. I was not able to get anything done as I was caught up in wellness and having an operating room to work in. There was wifi connection but no actual internet connection to work online. Their hospitality, service, integrity and punctuality were no where on a professional manner. I will not ever reserve at another place by Wyndham hotel/motel ... no folks this is no fable tale but the truth about this location.

The room I paid 80 those were and $150 deposit so dirty that I had to request to be moved to another room the phone didn't work to call the front desk so I had to use my cell phone the water was cold there was blood on the mirror. Very negative experience. I will not be going back. I will however give credit to the young lady working at the front desk she was as helpful as she could be given the situation.

Rooms are extremely out of date with their decor/furniture. When we arrived on our check-in date, the lobby was closed 12 minutes early. They have a window for check-in after 10 pm that we had to use even though it was prior to 10 pm. The staff member was nice though. The room was clean. I would recommend that building 3 gets updates sooner, rather than later. Beds are lumpy, dresser/desk sticky from cleaning products, and the door is not aligned so we had a few bugs that made their way in when lights were on. Also, we never could connect to the WiFi. Pros: the bathroom style is out of date but functional. Maybe update the light fixtures and fan though, the fan did nothing to reduce steam.

Positives: + The breakfast was alright, in comparison with breakfasts provided at some other motels + check-in and check-out both went smoothly, even though the refundable 50$ security deposit was a bit of a surprise. + The room appeared to have been cleaned and prepared before we had checked in Disliked: - The bed was horribly uncomfortable. It was completely worn out with a sagging matress, you could feel the spring/coil on your back. Speaking of the spring, it also made such strange noises, on any movement, as if it were broken. - The AC was so loud that every time the fan or the compressor would kick in, it would wake me up from my sleep. FYI, I am usually not a light sleeper! So I had to choose between either a hot warm room and have the heat wake me up or the AC noise in regular interval. This led to extremely poor sleep that night. - The building we stayed in is old and the rooms are dated, which could use significant renovation. - For the experience we had at the property, 80$/night is an extremely high price to pay

DO NOT STAY HERE The bed was literally broken and hit the floor on the bottom half. It's the kinda place where you know changing rooms isn't going to help. The lobby was always locked with no one around in the morning, great breakfast.... Save yourself and stay else where.

I have to dock them a star because the internet/wifi kept cutting out like every 6 hours. They also loose a star in my book for the rude behavior towards our pet's. Also, the staff was less than friendly to people; with the exception of the white haired older staff. Which is the reason I give this hotel as many stars as I have. Lastly the toilet was falling apart and would clog even if all you did was pee.

Room was very dirty. Dirty linen hanging from curtains. Shower curtain and rod falling off. One sink backed up then leaked into the floor from the plumbing. Bed was hard. All furniture dated, broken, and dirty. Foul odor all throughout room. Place was a dump for sure.

This place is disgusting!!! The first room. We checked into the door wouldn't even shut all the way. The beds were made but other than that it looked like a mess. The lamp shades were smashed in and dirty. The 2nd room was not much better. There were holes in the walls and ceiling. The tub had hair left in it. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.

Room was not cleaned upon arrival. Dumpster in parking lot over flowing w/ trash bags piled up next to it. There is no main lobby… just a window between entrance and locked doors where a lobby should be. We left for dinner and came back to pick up keys for a new clean room… it was difficult to find a light to turn on… the microwave was unplugged and in order to plug it in we had to pull the cabinet away from wall and flip a switch by door to turn it on…. would not recommend staying here.

Thank goodness we only needed somewhere to "sleep" for a few hours. This is not a place where you'd want to spend your leisure time just hanging around. All we could get last-minute was the one room with a tiny bathroom. They were stingy with the toiletries, towels, tissue, and probably don't even know the meaning of "hospitality". The service was less than desirable, but given the sight of folks in "smoking cars" in the parking lot at night, it was understandable.
