Our food was very, very good. Flavorful, warm and exactly what we were looking for. much better than the other Mexican food we had in town.

Never had a bad experience here. The food and service is always great. Our new Monday night date night location. Ask for Oscar, he's the best!

This is a very good Mexican restaurant! I have visited many times over the years at this current location and their old location. The staff is always very friendly and fairly attentive. The food is always ready quickly. On busy nights I've had a short wait but it has never been unreasonable. This location is in a shopping center with a decent amount of parking. There are plenty of tables in the restaurant. The food is good. Some of my favorites are the enchiladas norteñas and the Pollo loco. Good restaurant and definitely worth checking out!

As a passing visitor to the town we were pleased to find this little taste of Mexican food to fill our hungry stomachs. We came in right after the lunch crowd left so booths were lightly filled. The lunch menu was adequate with a large basket of chips and salsa at the ready. The meals were delivered within 5 minutes of ordering; a testament to good lunch service! The food was good and flavorful but didn’t have the zing of more traditional places. I give them excellent praise for great service and good and filling meals.

El Monterrey is some of the best Mexican food for miles around. I always go for the beef chimichanga, but haven’t heard any complaints about the other food. The atmosphere is about what you would expect for a Mexican restaurant, and is a great place for large groups. Takeout through their website is always easy and I’ve never been treated unfairly. The chips are salty and the salsa tasty.

The food was good but the level of disrespect from our waiter this place is lucky I gave a 2 star. The waiter wasn't expecting the person I was with to speak Spanish. He told the host in spanish to make sure we were seated at a table because we wouldn't fit in a booth being fat. I absolutely made sure I gave his tip as much respect as he gave us. My money will never be spent there again.

I love the chips, the salsa could use some work. Taco Tuesdays are amazing and the presidential Margaritas are very delicious! Well definitely be a regular. Amazing services well!

I wanted to take this opportunity to say what worse service you can ask for. Starting from the host right down to the manager at the cashier. Placed my order over an hour and still upon arriving they didn’t even have my order. I showed confirmation number and they had no clue. If you are not able to do things electronically why even be a part of the system. Then she was very rude a about it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Never recommend this place. Horrible service.

Combo plate was good! They tried to seat us back by the kitchen again as we walked by all the empty tables. This time we said no. We sat by a window.

Let’s start off with saying I’m a VERY VERY PICKY EATER and I’ve eatin out ordered from here multiple times and I must say since I left Texas I hadn’t tasted No flavor until I came here and omg I freaking love this place I give them 20 stars

Great food every time we go! Very consistent and fresh. Lots of times they've been lightning fast so we didn't have to wait very long. They also have really great salsa and fresh tortilla chips, not like ones from a bag or anything.

Had the fajitas. The meat had very little to no seasoning. The meat was very dry. Was not a fan. I heard good things from many people and was told it wasn't typical. Will try again but not a great experience this time.
