Excellent hot wieners, they even have a pizza dedicated to it! I moved so I'm not in that area as much, but they really do have good food. Try the chili too. I don't think I've ever been disappointed ordering here. I would ignore negative reviews as they don't appear to be credible.

I ordered the chicken tenders and fries and it was so yummy! That counter girl destiny has the best customer service too! I was on my phone when she brought my food over and asked if I wanted to be hand fed because my hands were full, but I politely declined. 10/10 Would go again!

Escada Restaurant & Bar has unbelievably good food! They have weekly food and drink specials! Delicious drinks are there specialty! Inside is very clean and the bar is huge although they do have tables and booths, as well, if you prefer to have a more private or romantic dinner! I love going in on Tuesdays for $6.50 Chicken Parm..its a decent size too! They usually have live entertainment Wed-Sunday Nights! You must check out Escada in Johnston, RI!

I went into hometown for the first time a few months ago and it was one of the best takeout experiences I’ve had. My favorite thing to get is a turkey club with no tomatoes and onion rings on the side. Every time I go there, the cashier destiny is so nice to me and has the best customer service! I would definitely recommend going to try it yourself.

There’s not enough praise to do this establishment justice. I have frequent Hometown on several occasions, both dine-in and takeout. All their food is excellent; and I recommend the wieners, and Italian sub in addition to their pizzas. In addition to excellent food quality, their employees, especially Marc, are always friendly even when they’re busy.

This place is unprofessional and uncouth.... How was I hung up on trying to place an order for my family and I'm the one that's rude?!! This place needs to fire and hire new staff

Grotesque! Absolutely the worst fish n chip we've ever eaten...$30 for two ...tiny, dry pieces of fish in some gross batter. Tartar sauce that tastes like Elmer's glue...rubbery onion rings and a side of sour tasting coleslaw swimming in cheap mayo....

I came in last week and asked the girl working the counter, Destiny, if she had any good recommendations. She told me I have to try to the steak and cheese, so I did and it was amazing. I got extra cheese on it and it was delicious! Destiny was so kind! I’ll definitely be going again.

I’ve been eating here for years and years, and it’s always been great. But I just inhaled a veggie calzone so incredibly good, I had to jump on here and leave a review. This place never fails. Not to mention, staff is always super polite and kind. As well as delivery always being timely. Highly recommend. I googled “restaurants open near me” hometown pizza came up 3rd after frisky fries and Domino’s….I clicked on hometown pizza and searched specials. I saw a 2 small calzone special for $16. I got one with chicken bacon ranch, the second one a meatball parmigian. It came very quickly and it was hot and fresh and there was nothing small about them. I couldn’t even eat 1/2 of one, so I have delicious leftovers for tomorrow. Hometown Pizza did not disappoint!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏻❤️

I placed an order for 2 cheeseburgers grinders and large tater tots and when the driver arrived it was only 1 cheeseburger. I told him the girl on the phone was rushing me and I told her 2 and she didn't even read back the order-----the driver rudely cut me off and w/ a cocky tone said WE R. BUSY AND YOUR NOT GONNA GET THE SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE! I told him it does not matter how busy you are--- You treat cust. right and gave him my money and closed the door ......when he pushed it agressively open and had one foot in my home!.....I told him get the ******** out of my house. They are VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL... NEVER ORDER FROM HERE PEOPLE. TRUST the REVIEWS....I read them after and wish I would have read them earlier! THEY R RUDE!!!!

The foods great, especially the onion rings and chicken tenders, oh and the spinach pies are yummy too. And the young man Hector who has made our food several times, is so friendly and polite and always seems to have a smile for us. And we never have to wait. The foods done when they tell you it will be.

I ordered a large calzone with pepperoni, spinach, & cheese..it was absolutely delicious!!! Full of flavor, and the marinara sauce (which was included), was also yummy! The service was excellent, it was my first time trying this business and I’m definitely going again! Also, the price was reasonable for a nicely filled and good size calzone!!!

This place literally hung up on me twice while trying to order about $600 worth of food (although they never knew that)Don’t know them never meet them, but would never do business with people this rude. They could have simply waited to listen and then respond with a polite yes or no. But hey, we all have bad days I guess.

Hometown Pizza & Subs NEVER fails to satisfy. I've ordered from this establishment probably a dozen times at this point and I have yet to find anything that doesn't hit the spot. Their buffalo chicken calzone is to die for, and will feed two grown men no problem (large size). I've ordered from them for both lunch and dinner several times, and no matter the time of day I walk away happy. This gem on Killingly Street is a must stop if you haven't already, for either pick up or delivery. Glad to see that Covid has not stunted their process.

Just recently discovered Hometown Pizza after a quick search to satisfy my craving for a BLT sub. I was not disappointed! In fact my family and I just went back again tonight (the BLT's were yesterday). The 2 for $20 large calzone deal is fantastic! Both the buffalo chicken and the Italian (my daughter's new favorite) were well filled and great sized. Easily one of these would be enough for two adults and one child for dinner. We are so happy that for a $45 order we have 3 nights of dinners! The steak and cheese subs were not greasy at all which can be a problem neither was the Italian calzone. The sub rolls and the dough are just perfect. Great food, super friendly service both times I have been here......makes Hometown a home run!

Im from Boston, and I can say that Hometown was one of the BEST calzones I’ve ever had. Fluffy dough and crispy crust as it would have been fried, idk how they do it!! The Chicken Florentine Calzone is the best!

Hometown pizza is my absolute number one go to for calzones. Their calzones are unparalleled. The taste and texture of their dough alone keeps me coming back- there is literally nothing else like it. They fill it will the perfect amount of fillings and always give you a side of their amazing sauce. I have ordered numerous times and each time it’s consistent and quality. I recently moved but will continue to make the 30min drive to get my calzone fix. Highly recommended!!!

Probably the worst place I have ordered from. They were completely rude on the phone. I simply tried to tell them the price was too much and they completely shut me out. The food was disgusting. Will never order from this place again. Pizza was cold, Mac and cheese bites were cold. For the little amount of food I got I spent too much. The quality was not worth what I payed for.

Very polite and aware of the epidemic. Mozzarella sticks where excellent as well with their Olney style weenies. Very quick with my order. Very satisfied customer.

This a nice little spot, but I just wouldn't recommend their pizza; thin, floppy slices with bland taste. they have other good food here you should give a shot though. They have this really cool digital menu inside, It's just too bad the font is so small you can't even read it, so you'll have to look at the paper menu or go online. The lady at the cash register is really nice too!

I live two streets away from Hometown and I am so happy I do! My family orders pizza from here quite a bit. The burgers are delicious! And they're very generous with the portions. Usually when I get my hamburger with ketchup, other places put a dot of ketchup. Hometown makes sure its the perfect amount! I also like to order a salami and cheese calzone. I dont normally like calzones hot but hot calzones from Hometown are the best! Cold too! I have been eating hometown since I was little and the fries have always been my favorite also! Overall a great place with great staff and great food! Thank you Hometown!

Went here only once about a year and a half ago. My boyfriend and I went in for a few drinks and ordered a pizza. The pizza took forever to come out and was hands down THE WORST pizza I have ever tried to eat. Usually even bad pizza is still good. The pizza here tasted like cardboard and had zero flavor. After we got our pizza the bartender ignored us and didnt ask if we wanted more drinks or anything. Didnt even bring us our bill. I would never go back there for food. This place has no business masquerading as a restaurant.

I’m new to the area and I called today to order food I was going hypo and needed to order food. The man who answered the phone told me yes he delivers to 3 towns mine included seeing I live in Johnston. I proceeded to give him my address and he then changed his mind and said no. I live about 1tenth of a mile further from the town hall so you can use Grubhub. As upset as I was I said thank you and hung up. I also saw it showed that they weren’t busy at the time. Thank you for your response. I live 2.8 miles from you literally right after the Town hall. There’s tons of restaurants in the state with top of the line food that I don’t mind paying Grubhub for. I also was very kind to you and tip well and you were rude and continue to be rude. I 💯 hung up and gave another business and Grubhub my business. People wonder why they go under, you’re the second place in Johnston to pull this. I’m pretty sure if we treated our customers misappropriate we’d be out of business. That will never happen we have to much pride and class and we go above and beyond for everyone ❤️
