Super excited to try a local coffee shop as I try to support small businesses. Unfortunately my experience here wasn’t pleasant. I understand it’s opening weekend and I will have to come back and give it another try and possibly adjust my review later on. But let’s start, I came in and ordered a latte and was excited to try it. It was around 9am and didn’t have breakfast so I tried to order an egg and bacon croissant and they told me they didn’t have it. Ok fine, I’ll order the ham and egg muffin, there response is we ran out of that too and didn’t have it. Ok, can I try the ham and cheese danish, we ran out of that too. So I asked what do you guys have. The response. “I don’t know”. So I opted out of ordering food and was still excited to try my latte. Well roughly 20 min goes by and I notice they have had milk left out since I got there. I know safe milk to consume has to be under 45 and maintained under that temp. Who knows how long it has been sitting out before hand. So after that I noticed someone who ordered way after me get their drink and at that point I asked for a refund. I believe the owner was who I talked to and proceeded to agree and give me a refund. He had some trouble which I understand it’s a new system and opening weekend but he asked for help from his staff and they were being very subtle and rude in a way. Got my money back after nearly 30 min +. Went down the street to Kafe De Kasa and I was in and out within 3 min of getting in, ordering and leaving with a smile on my face. Unfortunately upset but like I said earlier I will try them again in the near future and see if my review changes. I hope it does. I’d like to see local businesses succeed. Best of luck.

The drink selection is very good. There is a variety of coffee, tea, refresher & specialty drinks. The largest size is 16oz at the same price as corporate coffee places. I personally would rather pay a little more here than to a corporations pocket. The food was delicious. My family had their breakfast sandwiches, which were made fresh. There was a quiet corner where they played chess while we waited for our food. I will definitely be back often.

The coffee has a good taste they were out of the sandwich I wanted but the other one was good.

Ordered HOT almond dream latte & at best it was lukewarm. Tasted it as soon as I got in my car. The girl that made my coffee didn't put the lid on securely. I didn't notice, when I picked up the cup the lid popped off & coffee spilled all over the counter. My 2nd coffee was made by a different girl & she sealed it the way they should. The two girls & the owner ( I believe) all saw the mess & didn't bother trying to assist wiping up the coffee, there was quite a bit. I grabbed napkins & cleaned up. Guess they thought I made the mess so I should clean it. The girl that can't put a lid on also spilled milk on the counter EVERY TIME she poured milk into a pitcher. Lackadaisical. I don't like that they make the drinks on the counter facing customers without any protective shield. Seems unsanitary. And, they should put the milk back in a cooler. It could be in an open cooler like they have in bars. The milk is left sitting out 🤢 I don't know about this place. I'll wait & give it another try to see if they make any improvements. The Almond Dream was delicious and the Cafe has a nice atmosphere. I like the garage door. I hope they improve.

I had a wonderful experience at this new coffee place, honestly the atmosphere is unmatched, great for studying, reading, or just a calm coffee date with a partner! I tried the sunrise refreshers and it was delicious! The staff was super friendly as well.

Never heard about this place until I saw it on google maps, but I'm glad I tried this coffee shop! The inside is cozy and they have a lottt of flavors and coffee to choose from. They also have different types of milk including oat milk. Their coffee is more beverage based with flavors compared to a strong coffee taste. This place is nice for flavored drinks, and I love how their syrups and drinks aren't too sweet. They have some sweets to choose from too and you can get them heated up. Their cinnamon muffin was really good! Will come back again and would recommend! :)

Just tried the dark chocolate mint latte, and it was delicious! I loved the location and it's quite nice inside. Really loved that they named their plants 💕 as well as their staff, super friendly. I was here for an hour, and it wasn't crowded, most people who came in ordered for take out. While it was bright in the front, I wish it was a little brighter on the other side of the café. Other than that I was able to enjoy my book and coffee. Thank you!

Had a few of their special Valentine's drinks and they were both delicious! 😋 ☕️ I ordered the chocolate covered strawberry latte and strawberry rose matcha 🌹 🍓. Their other drinks sound tasty, too so I'll definitely be back! The place was busy and only had one employee working but he provided speedy service and the vibes of the place was nice and cozy! 🥰

I love coming here! Great sugar free flavor options & cheerful staff. Great hours too. I come here most days before work and on the weekends with my boyfriend. I love their iced lattes & he likes the cold brew.

Drip coffee could use some real attention. It's usually weak, kind of like Folgers taste. Couldn't recommend espresso either unless you like flavorings. Matcha was okay. Food is simple, but good for what they are set up for. The roast beef sandwich was good. Bakery items are pretty standard fare. The atmosphere is good for the location and fills a need for the area it serves. Overall it's okay if you need somewhere to work for a few or you want to grab something with your kids. I feel that it has real potential to improve if more attention is paid to the basics of what they're offering.

As someone who enjoys coffee very much, has been a barista for numerous years at different places (corporate and independent), and wants to see an independent place succeed in a landscape of mediocre corporate chains, I'm a little disappointed and frustrated. I understand that it takes time to train new baristas and hone their craft, but after trying 6 different times and receiving the wrong drink 4 of those times (iced americano with just honey; I've received it hot 3 times and today was just given an iced coffee instead, even after they repeated my order back to me,) I don't know if I want to keep trying and expecting different results. The first time I came, the drink was exceptional- but every time since then had been a struggle. Even when I did receive the correct drink on try #5, the shots were very underextracted, which is a shame as they have delicious beans local to Chicago. Excellent location and beautiful indoor space with a garage-style door to open during the nice weather, so hopefully they are able to turn the service around.

I went in yesterday to order two medium coffees and showed the text where it mentioned ::Show this Text for FREE Medium Coffee:: At the register both coffees showed full price, so I asked the girl “Oh one of the coffees didn’t come off?” She looked at the man making the coffees and he said “That’s only for drip coffee.” No where in the text did it mention specialty or drip coffee it just said medium coffee. So no apology and both coffees came to full price. It’s not about a $5 coffee, it's about the principle about someone sending the wrong information out and they should have honored the price. After all it was just myself and my boyfriend in the shop. And then 10 minutes after leaving they corrected the mass text.

Ordered a coconut iced latte and promptly dropped it leaving. The girls gave me a new one free of charge, were so sweet, coffee is great, and prices better than big chains. Will be back!

Nice little coffee shop, seating for about 15 people. Quiet on the weekdays, good place to sit and work for a bit. Espresso is a B-, but the menu is great and has lots of options. Service was great, super nice baristas.

Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! Since they have opened, I’ve not once been to Starbies!! The expresso flavor for me at Tazza is just perfection. My ultimate favorite drink is the Iced Biscoff cookie butter latte with almond milk. Just delish!! Try, it I promise you won’t be disappointed. Bakery items are also so tasty. Love the whole place, such a vibe! Staff is friendly and attentive.

cozy coffee shop that has the best coffee, food and vibes. i ordered the bacon, cheddar & egg sandwich and it was so good. the bread was my favorite part, so soft and buttery! my boyfriend ordered the ham & swiss, he enjoyed his as well. we both ordered the cinnamon toast crunch latte (one iced and one hot). we both rated our coffee 10/10. definitely give this place a try!

First time trying Tazza Coffee and loved it! Great, friendly service. Went in to read for a few hours by myself and was not bothered at all. Had a cookie butter latte and a strawberry matcha, both delicious. Only comment is I think an additional savory food item would improve the food offerings!
