1st time having this pizza it was fire! Husband received a gift card as a tip from a customer he had done work for & super glad he did because I never knew of this place was right off 59 & close to where we live. We got the thin butter crust w/ sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms & green peppers perfect amount of toppings, sauce was delicious loved the little chuncks of tomatoes in it! Perfectly cooked! Can't wait to try their deep dish pie next time!! I give them 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕!

Got that CRUSTLESS personal pizza. Came out to like $37 😬 you definitely pay extra to cut a few carbs but it definitely kicks the pizza craving. They packed it with toppings 🍕 which was nice. Was very greasy due to the entire crust being made of sausage. Definitely eat with a fork.... (I ate with my God-given forks ✋✋) #greaslightning #kindaketoishh 🙃

We ordered 2 pizzas and a salad. They delivered the pizzas but forgot the salad. We totally get it accidents happen, so we politely called and asked for our money back on the salad. We actually assumed this would be the easy thing. They refused that and instead promised to deliver the salad that night and also send us a gift certificate for a free salad. The salad never showed, but we got a certificate in the mail today, for a salad that we have already paid for, and still never received?!?! How does this make any sense? All that we asked was to be reimbursed for the salad that we didn’t get. This is actually not helpful at all.

I have noticed a major decline in the quality of pizzas and service at this location the past few times I have been there. Tonight I ordered a large thin crust pizza, half cheese, and half cheese, sausage, green peppers. They said over the phone that it would be ready in a half hour. I ordered at 7:08pm and arrived around 7:45, and after waiting for 10 minutes I had to ask for a manager. The store was not busy, and we were at 15 minutes past the time they told us it would be ready. The manager came out (I guess she discounted, or refunded, some or all of it) and gave us our pizza 5 minutes later. When we got home we opened an undercooked pizza that was not good. After going to this location for years, I will not be back and will make sure to tell everyone how bad it’s gotten.

Our family loves Lou malnatis! Unfortunately we have gotten the lou salad from this location twice and both times the romaine was brown and slimy. Didn’t ask for a refund because we know it’s a hard time for this industry, but probably won’t be back.

Save your money and go a couple lights up for Giordanos. The meat was like someone took a package of ground Italian sausage from Walmart and slapped it on top of a little cheese, then threw a canned of undrained tomatoes on top. Ew. I’m shocked at how gross this was.

No sit down option and only carry out / delivery from this location. Staff is extremely kind and friendly. They made sure we got everything before we left and gave recommendations for future orders. The Lou deep dish was prepared exactly as expected. Highly recommend to those looking for authentic Lou Malnati experience!

I ordered a deep dish through the phone and I went to pick it up, when I got home to eat the deep dish with my family we were really disappointed it was mostly dough. I called and the cashier told me "have you ever ate a deep dish pizza before?" I'm like "yeah this is not the first time, I always go to the Lou Malnati's in Bolingbrook." She was trying to tell me that the way they made the deep dish was the way it should be. UPDATE: Forgot to say that I called and they sent me another one. So.they moved from 1 star to 3 stars

Before covid the service was great! Now, you place an online order for pick up and the person that answers the phone can barely communicate! Order is never ready within the time they set online! Definitely will be taking business somewhere else!

First I wanna preview that I almost gave them 1 star because they had messed up a pretty expensive order of mine, but I just wanna give a shout out to their manager Scott for being such a great dude. Not only did he offer to refund me, he even followed up and let me know that he’s looking into it (something not many food service managers would do). He was understanding, kind, and very respectful so I’d be down to give them another chance just because of him!

I have been a regular customer at this location for a long time and tonight I made the decision that I will never come back after how I was treated by the manager. I ordered through the app and there was an obvious glitch and my order was wrong. The manager told me there was nothing she can do and I wñulg have to eat a pizza type I don’t eat. I was told to reorder and “deal with your mistake”. So I Tried the “mistake” pizza and it was drier than dirt and disgusting. When I went in to request a refund the manger came out yelling and was very rude saying she will not give me a refund. When asked if they don’t do refunds she stated, “not for you”. When I told her I was recording and to repeat what she just said she walked to the back and said she was done talking to me and to leave. So I left. If you like bad attitudes, poor customer service with a side of dry pizza this place is for you.

Ordered a pizza at 530 was told 630 delivery. It’s not 750 still no food and I’ve called twice and the lady said it’s on the way. If your short drivers don’t lie to people it’s bad for business.

My first time trying. Never knew this place even existed till recently. Got to say I actually like the pizza here. Reminds me a little of Homerunn Inn pizza but tastier. I got thin crust. Had a nice crunch to it. Sauce was very good. I really like that they sell their pizza in the frozen section too. So you can buy a pizza to put in freezer for another day. They also had Italian ice. Freshly made salad was available to purchase . Yes I will return again. Glad I discovered this hidden gem near home. FYI.. I ordered on the website and pick up. Was much easier for me.

I have tried Lou Malnati’s from other locations in the past and has been great so I figured I would try the one in Joliet. Overall atmosphere and service is what you would expect. The pizza was good, a bit pricey, but good, toppings were fresh and cheese was plenty, the signature butter crust on this occasion did not seem up to par, rather soggy and not as crispy as I remembered. Still very good pizza and would recommend trying this location and make your own opinion.

The service was outstanding!! This is a carry out only place. I love Lou's salad. I think they use some type of sorcery in the dressing. I try to remember to get it without the ham. It's super crunchy like bacon bits and they definitely aren't shy with them. The salad is also big enough for two to three people. The pizza's here are good too. I just really love their salad!

This location is the worst! I have ordered at least 25 pizzas. At least 15 were delivered with a wet crust from the tomatoes thrown on the pizza that were drenched and not squeezed. It ruins the crust. They need to improve delivery times too. Pizza delivered has cheese sliding off due to the driver not placing flat in car. I say let them practice on other customers and save your money until the managers figure out how to train pizza makers to make Lou Malnatis pizza the way it should be. Delivery is ridiculously slow! I will say if you complain the manager does try to fix and redeliver. A for effort handling complaints

The food here is amazing! Always hot and fresh! The crust is the best!

No dine in, take out only. I ordered a Malnati salad which was fresh and delicious but 2x as much as a Wendy's salad. I ordered a beef sandwich which was delicious but a little dry. (Next time will ask if it can be dipped). And I got a tasty, S&P pizza. I have had better in the area, but there are a lot worse.

Pizza was flavorless, the only thing that you can taste was an abundance of tomato, the sausage had no flavor whatsoever and the crust has to much cornmeal in it to be considered good. Never going back there.

Ordered pizza and penne Ala malnati (pasta WITH cheese) the called 45 minutes later (close to closing time) saying that they can’t deliver and that I’d have to pick it up instead. After getting back home found that the pasta was wrong, they gave me the normal penne pasta without cheese instead. And now the store is closed, didn’t get a receipt. They probably still charged me the delivery fee. This is the second time they did this to me. So disappointing. Don’t order here, bunch of idiots work here

I am Chicago born and love my deep dish pizza. I love most of the Chicago style pizza's but Lou Malnati's "The Lou" is my favorite by far.

Lou’s is a solid Chicago style pizza. Unique in its flavor with a tart tomato sauce and high quality sausage. Their signature sweet vinaigrette salad is the perfect combination

Where is the cheese, sauce and flavor,??? Dam! I had to add multiple seasonings, smh. I should’ve bought a frozen Jacks pizza.

OMG my pizza was perfect- recommend “well done (add5mins.)” all the ingredients were plentiful as well as the sauce. Crust was perfect. My delivery driver brought me a nice hot pie and was so nice and friendly. Get Some!

Favorite pizza! It’s a plus that the employees are always very friendly when I come in. We love the Chicago classic deep dish and the thin crust spinach. The Malnati salad is also so good.

Best meal I’ve ever had anywhere. Please open one south west of Joliet 1 hour. Bloomington and normal are good places to open.

We ordered a deep dish and thin pizza, $19 salad and spaghetti dinner.That feed 5 people with lots of leftovers.Their salad dressing is so good.

A bit disappointed. The first time we ordered from this location, we had ordered extra cheese and the pizza was amazing and cheesy. The second time there was barely any cheese on it even though I had specified extra cheese. Since I like my pizza cheesy, I was disappointed but will try again.

Lou Malnati's Joliet Ill. Placed order online, Lrg cheese deep dish and a salad. Simple right? Not tonight. Order arrived 15mins after it said online it had been delivered, and it was the wrong order altogether. Wrong pizza, receipt was for someone else (how we knew), the salad was brown, at least 1-2 days old. When trying to call, was put on hold till we arrived at store in person. Never had a problem prior to tonight. This one will be remembered for awhile.

Great Staff, nice atmosphere, kid friendly!!! Oh and amazing food. Small menu so very easy to choose a great meal. I hate when the menu is 3 pages long!!

Deep dish, thin crust, cheesy garlic bread are all great. Always been good food, never had an issue and will go back. Allow some extra time of ordering multiple deep dishes.

I drove all the way from Philadelphia for work and wanted a good Chicago style pizza and Lou's delivered big time! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area

Generally good pizza, long wait, asked for it to be brought to the car, had to go in and get it. 20 plus people waiting at the desk to order and pick up. Pizza had very little sausage broken up on the pizza, either a huge thick patty or very little broken sausage. Disappointing. Brushetta toast burnt, sad Fair meal compared to other visits.

Fast curbside pickup and what can is say the crust just makes the deep-dish pizza.. it's so unique you can just smell the difference of how the yeast made the crust so amazing!!!

So sad to have to give one of my favorite pizza places such a low score. The pizza was delicious but everything else was very bad. Our online order apparently was lost. They couldn't find the ticket in the kitchen or up front. The servers were trying to be helpful but wouldn't say they lost the order. However, the manager was rude and NOT helpful. We waited over 40 minutes for them to obviously make the order. When it was finally ready the manager just gave us the pizza, rudely, with no apology, no discount, nothing. This is my first experience with this location as I lived in Chicago and ate at the original location often. Very dissatisfied with how the manager handled our order. But we were not alone. Most people waiting had problems as well. Bad manager with bad customer service!
