This was our first visit to this not very well known place. Everything about it was great. Neat, wheelchair accessible, and if you love history and antiques, you'll absolutely fall in love with this gem. It has many things for kids to do. We didn't have small children and still spent a few hours there. It truly is a treasure and I'm glad we drove 2 and a half hours to see it.

Great place to kick off the Christmas season. Go in the evenings to see the lights. Wagon rides, game of checkers, roast marshmallows, walking trails, great hot chocolate. Fun family day.

There's no words to describe its just beautiful, I could of stayed in the Country Store all day there's just so much to look at, so many things brought back so many memories. However our funds were to low to go through the villages, I so wished we could of. My husband demanded to find me something in the store for $5 and he sure did. He found this corner of beautiful jewelry, shawls, scarfs, etc. 75% and he found me this beautiful shawl for $4.50 absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to go back to go through the 80 buildings covering over 20 acres of pecan trees, streams and foliage. I encourage anyone within this area visiting to go tour Landrums Homestead & Village here in Laurel, MS. You'll be glad you did.

The place was very beautiful! I had so much fun but I was highly disappointed for three months I was trying to get this reserved as a venue! I had the money put aside and everything and I sent plenty of emails and never got a response. I was upset and heart broken because of how beautiful the place was and I wanted my wedding in the perfect place! But I can see that the energy was not the same the other way around.

It's a classic experience, great for a family outing! I took a 3 and 6 yr old and they were bored for some of it (old cabins full of old stuff) but loved the center area where there was music, games, the fire pit with marshmallows, and treats. Then we went to the lake and watched the music-coordinated lights, that was beautiful, and fed the giant catfish. Next was the tractor ride (like a hay ride but no hay) through the woods (I enjoyed, the littles got bored). Then the Maze house... 5 times... (definite winner for them!) and the Mystery House... 6 times... (their favorite, had to drag them out of there!). We spent over an hour exploring and their 3rd favorite thing was the laser lights that shine and dance around - we spent over 30 minutes dancing with the red and green balls of light. I think they would like to go again, we'll add this to our annual tradition.

We had a fabulous time. We visited in a quiet time so had time to wander as we desired. Loved all the old tools & farm implements. Staff was so friendly.

Disappointed that we came on the day they were setting up for the activity tomorrow. Trucks & workers everywhere, painting... No farm animals this time, except for one goat. $12 per person, 3 & under are free. Four year old is also $12! No discount for children.

Really unique experience! Could easily spend all day looking and would always find new, neat things to look at! 100% impressed with the service and the property itself. The lady who makes the biscuits is so incredibly sweet l, the man in charge of the wagon ride is a wonderful story teller, and the ladies in the gift shop display excellent customer service. Can't wait to visit for Christmas!!

One of our favorite Christmas locations, but really good any time of year. Lots to see and fun for all ages.

👍👍 It is a great park on the banks of Wapsipinicon river. I go here all year round and everyday I notice something new, that I did not notice earlier. Also, it's very magnificent how the landscape of park laden with flowers changes the color from blue to pink to white to yellow to orange to fall color...

😠 The staff was friendly but I was very disappointed. I took my children here to see history. They was little to no African American history to see. All slave quarters were gone. The focus was on the success of the slave owners, even though it was mentioned that the family couldn't have had the succ...
