Cheddar's
is
an
interesting
place
having
somewhat
similar
food
to
Chilli's
but
without
the
southwest
theme.
The
atmosphere
was
very
odd.
The
decor
is
somewhat
modern
or
perhaps
a
bit
urban,
but
we
walked
in,
they
were
playing
country
music
(pop/rock
with
a
Nashville
accent).
Felt
very
out
of
place.
They
served
buttered
croissants
that
were
crispy
and
delicious)
soon
after
we
set
down.
Unfortunately
there
were
four
on
the
platter
and
only
three
of
us.
So
we
had
to
bargain
for
who
would
get
a
second
croissant.
We
started
our
meal
with
Cheese
Bites.
These
are
cheese
curds
with
a
crispy
breading
and
served
with
a
side
of
ranch.
They're
pretty
good.
I
can't
help
but
regret
not
ordering
them
with
a
side
of
caramel.
They're
perfectly
greasy
enough
to
pair
with
something
sweet
(think
carnival/fair
food).
I
had
the
Chicken
Tender
Dinner
with
"honey
hot"
sauce.
This
is
very
juicy
fried
chicken
and
the
sauce
is
very
reminiscent
of
a
sweet
buffalo.
I
wasn't
a
fan.
It
comes
with
fries
and
a
side
of
slaw.
The
slaw
is
mayo
based
and
tastes
pretty
decent
for
s
may
based
coleslaw.
The
fries
were
mediocre,
but
still
tasty.
My
wife
had
the
Monte
Cristo.
It's
as
if
someone
took
a
Turkey,
Ham
&
Cheese,
battered
it
with
donut
batter
and
deep
fried
it.
I'm
not
a
ham
fan,
so
it
missed
the
mark
for
me,
but
it
was
good
apart
from
that.
The
sweet
batter
goes
well
with
the
cheese.
My
daughter
had
the
kids
meal
barbecue
chicken
(served
on
rice).
She
devoured
it,
but
didn't
finish
the
rice.
Service
was
much
less
than
expected.
We
had
to
ask
for
a
drink
refill
and
that
was
the
only
one
we
got.
We
didn't
try
any
drinks
on
this
visit,
but
they
did
have
some
interesting
cocktails
including
a
pineapple-coconut
twist
on
a
Moscow
Mule.
