Ample seating, friendly servers, the Arnold pallets were delicious and I fell in love with their hot wings. Plenty of parking and you don’t have to love sports to eat here. You just have to love delicious food and friendly folks.

I’ve been coming here for a number of years, so I don’t know why I’m just now getting around to writing a review. To put it simply: I will intentionally go out of my way to get lunch here if I’m in the vicinity of Joplin. The food has always been amazing, and there is nothing “bad” on the menu. The folks that work here are always friendly and accommodating as well. If you’re passing through, it’s worth it to take a trip up to Hackett’s for lunch or dinner (or even a drink or two at their sports bar!) This is easily my most favorite restaurant in the area!

🤔 I'm mixed on this one. Unfortunately, I won't be back. I got lemon pepper wings and fries. I asked for carrots and celery. Well, you can see the pic. The wings were cold, some were wet? Not sure why that was. They were crunchy, which I like but prefer more meat on them - ten wings cost $23🧐. I don't mind the price so much, if they were bomb-they were not. I was left unsatisfied. The fries were 6/10. Service was great!

An evening out with colleagues during a trip to the US. Fantastic fried pickles and okra, and the chicken wings were big and tasty. Medium wasn't hot, so if you like hot then definitely start at 4* heat level. Lots of beer choices, we all chose blue moon, which partnered well with the wings. Another great meal at Hackett hot wings.

The food was delicious and we will be definitely coming back. I didn't give a 5 just because our waitress was terrible. We ordered appetizers and we never received them, we only saw her once after the food was given to us and then when she gave us our check. She offered to go drinks and then brought us a empty cup for us to pour what we had in our in tiny cup. So hopefully the next time we visit the service will be as good as the food.

One of the best wing experiences I've had in years. All the flavors have something to offer, we got about 80 wings and a mix of flavors and there wasn't a single one we didn't like. They say the hot and honey is their specialty but in my opinion the Greek dry rub and the beer stole the show from everything else. We had. Top that off with a nice open environment, great weight staff, good pours from the bar, and a great conversation with the owner on the way out. This will be a place I remember and stop and Joplin for any time I'm passing through the area.

The drivers and I stumbled on this searching for food. A pleasant surprise it is. Everything we tried is good, the wings, the cheese curds, potato salad, onion rings and the mango tea, is a yes sir and yes ma’am. Friendly environment and family friendly. Will be saving this place as a fave to visit whenever I’m in Missouri. A+++

We did a party there today and the staff was very friendly and polite. The place was packed and the food smelled so good but we were just working in the facility.

It was a chilly yet beautiful Saturday evening outing with the girls. Us gals were rather ravenous and thought Hacketts Hot Wing would settled the hunger. As we came inside the atmosphere was smoky but that gave the room a nice effect with their interior decoration. The waiter was sweet and made us feel as Hackett home. I got an appetizer which was sweet potato puffs which I strongly recommend. If you look to be semi-healthy this is the best pick for you. They also came with this yummy Carmel sauce. Finally, it was time for the main course meal of the best 10 boneless chunks of honey wings. Sweet. Chunky. Filling. They came with a side of celery and carrots and my friends and I monched on. The food was immaculate. 10/10 would eat again. The gals and I had even saved some to take home and to again experience the wonderful Hackett wings. So in conclusion, if you want good wings you should eat here. This is message is approved by my before hungry and now satisfied tummy.

I ordered wings and fries. Meat was good quality and made fine. However hot wings were neither hot nor spicy. Fries were so salty I barely ate it all. Add more spice and much less salt!

The wings were delicious. Plenty of sauce, great flavor. I thought it was a little high priced compared to most places but the quality was there. We sat at the bar and we received good service. The hostess told us she had no idea how long it would take with us third on the list yet tons of open tables. So that was different but spots at bar came available so we sat there. Would absolutely return though.

Great wings. I usually get boneless wings everywhere, but this place has GREAT bone-in wings. Their sauces are delicious! My favorite is the hot and honey. Sweet with a little bit of kick. Good choices for appetizers. At least 20 different beers on tap and they rotate them pretty frequently. They have a sports bar side and a dining room side. So you can eat here for many different occasions. They even have an upstairs area that can be rented for parties! I highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys wings!

The service was amazing! We went in 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and felt bad so we were turning around to go and the server swayed us into staying. That NEVER happens! She obviously loved her job and the whole experience was great! Food was awesome and the atmosphere was good too. Convenient location and comfortable seating. We were leaving and the guy cleaning our table told us how to box our food to prevent our food from being less tasty when we reheated it! Definitely 5 stars!

My favorite place 2 eat n Joplin. Their wings r so far above any other wings I've ever had. And wings r 1 of my favorite things 2 eat. The hot & honey r the business! Lemon pepper is alright. Hot wings r amazing. Jerk was good. About 2 try the Greek 2nite. They do something special 2 these wings or something. They r soooo amazingly crispy n wonderful. Idk what it is, but these guys put love n their food. ALWAYS coming back here. Keep up the amazing food guys!

I came to this place on a Saturday night, right at dinner time. It was not busy but we had no wait at all. We were greeted by hostesses who set us down at a clean and comfortable booth. We were instantly giving our drinks which had the perfect amount of balance between carbonation and syrup (I got a Pepsi). Soon after we ordered our food and appetizers. Our waitress was a nice woman she took such wonderful care of us that I would even trust her with my children (that I currently do not obtain). We quickly got our appetizers (I got fried mushrooms). They were fried perfectly and wonderfully crisp. I could eat large amounts. I dip them in ranch and yum. After that I got my honey sauced wings (I don’t like spicy). They were easily the best wings I’ve ever eaten in my entire whole life, the flavor was immaculate, straight divine. After we were done I already wanted to order more. I could eat here many times a weak and not be tired of it. The price was normal for wings, what you’d expect. After the waitress heard me talking about my saucy, messy hands she quickly delivered a throughly wet wipe. We then asked for to go boxes which were soon delivered with “Thank you!” hand written on the top. It was a wonderful crisp night that ended with a full and happy tummy.

Very good, a must have if you like wings

First things first, the Brandon Williams wings are great. I cannot remember a time, ever, where both the service and the wings have not been beyond expectation. This business has such a dedication to excellence and that is the reason they are a staple of this community.

Update It's still amazing, still loving that hot and honey, my buddy says their's is the best garlic/ parm he's ever had! I have referred many to Hacketts, some from Vegas, some from Iowa, some from Springfield Mo... etc. All love it! The best in the wings business for sure. Original review- When it comes to chicken wings, Hacketts can't be beat, best wings I've ever had. We always encourage people passing through Joplin to make time for Hacketts. It's where my family from out of town always wants to go. They have great sides - fries green beans, fried pickles, frued cauliflower, sweet potatoe bites, fries and the onion rings are so good! The wings come boneless or bone in. Too many great sauces to list and dry rubs too! But the Hot & Honey is my fave. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, plenty of TVs to watch sports, full bar... I recommend giving them a try, you won't be sorry.

Great service and great food. We started with Fried Green Beans with spicy ranch, and the beans were crisp and tasty but the ranch was the star of this show. We had lemon pepper and hot honey wings. Both were excellent. I had celery with it and there was lemon pepper seasoning on them.

Such a classic place! I haven’t been back in 10 or so years and drove through last week - it was the same classic yummy food! My server was the kindest human, Paden. I was sat in a quiet area away from the bar room and got to enjoy it mostly alone. Ordered the chicken chunks - which are huge btw. Fried pickles and some veggies. Got a spicy bbq sauce and it was perfect! I am so glad I got to drop in and see the beautiful town! Thank you again, this is most definitely a favorite in my book!

The food tasted good. We bought wings and cheese curds. The waitress rang up our 15 piece as a separate 10 piece and 5 piece which made it an extra $1.50 which was pretty lame. The wings were also a bit smaller than standard size so overall pretty pricey for what you get. The wing flavors are great though, we got Buffalo and buffalo garlic, the cheese curds were pretty average, I just don't appreciate the extra squeeze for money when we clearly said 15 piece. I would consider coming back here, but if you already have a good-priced go-to wing place, I wouldn't bother coming here.

Food was decent way overpriced and don’t order ranch it’s 80 cents a cup. Who orders wings with a dipping sauce I mean come on people we ordered 40 wings for 5 people to share and it was 100.00. I spoke with the manager and he pretty much told me if that’s the way I feel don’t come back. As a restaurant owner for many years and more than one location I think I would loose all my customers if I tried this. But as unethical as it is I wouldn’t do it anyway.

It has been hyped up to me for a long time, so I finally decided to try it. It was very mid. The fried pickle spears were awesome. But the wings were room temperature, and the sauce was okay. The music they were playing was definitely a letdown, too... elevator smooth music. I wanted it to be a bit more lively, even though it wasn't a busy day. Some upbeat music would've changed the atmosphere a lot for me. The staff did okay. They did seem to want to be doing literally anything else, but they made sure we had drink refills and such. Overall, it was okay, I don't know if I'll be back, though.

Good place for wings

We loved this place! Glad we stopped in on our road trip. The wings were awesome, nice and crispy and fresh. Very reasonably priced, too. My kids loved their meals, my husband looooved the fries and wings. And those fried pickles are the bomb! Loved the seasoned carrots and celery, that was a fun twist. I'm a weirdo who likes to eat my bone in wings with a fork (I know, I know) and the waiter said they didn't have any clean ones...that was weird. 😅 But I'm a laid back person and just made do eating them the barbaric way. 😜😂 The staff was friendly, comfy atmosphere and no wait on a Saturday night! Thanks for a great meal!

Great restaurant located on Main street in Joplin. The menu selection is good. The high top section of the restaurant is self seating and has multiple TVs and a full bar. There is also a traditional dining area. The wings are very good. We tried the fried pickles and onion rings as appetizers. They were also very good. Great place to watch a game or grab a quick bite. Good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Way better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Hacketts chicken quality is good - not tough/fibrous. They go the extra measure to shave down the celery (good culinary technique), which minimizes chewy fibrous strands, AND they season the carrots/celery. We got lemon pepper and hot honey wings and requested extra crispy. A lot of places will overcook the chicken when requesting extra crispy, but Hacketts kept it tender inside. Perfect. Also, the tables are socially distanced; workers wear masks 👌🏽 Will be back and recommend to others. Thanks to Pam from Freeman for suggesting!

Been hitting this spot since it was diagonal from lumpys. Back when you order the 50 pc with the rolls on the side. Whenni come to town this is one of the 3 places I must hit before I head back home. Seasoned fries, a little traditional honey, seasoned, and suicide wings.. Accompanied with a side of corn nuggets and a strawberry pop. Havent ever had better wings

This place by far that the best wings. We usually get 50 piece for Supper Bowl and the dry rub seasonings are amazing! My favorite is the Greek rub!

The wings were some of the best iv had. Banana pudding was excellent too. Definitely recommend this place.

First time visit.. tasty beer wings, and fried mushrooms. soda machine was flat. tried twice but just had to go with water. waiter was on top of it and the greeters were friendly and on the spot. I will be back to try some different wings. and maybe some fried pickels.

My son Ordered chicken nuggets and they were rock hard. My other son got wings and he didn't eat them because he said they tasted like peanut butter. I got nachos and they were not good. Got a Bloody Mary and it was the worst one I've had. Server was okay check on us twice. Second time going here and not planing on coming back. The host also wasn't wearing his mask when we walked in

Not even close to Buffalo Wild Wings and employees at Buffalo Wild Wings are ALOT nicer. One time my family went in there to eat and waited and waited and waited we just walked out. I went there by myself to seat at the bar and bartender was rude. NEVER GOING BACK!!!! I do not recommend it!!!!
