I had written the complete episode, which this owner deleted. We stayed in Jorhat for a night and had ordered the following (attached receipt). This restaurant, not just gave poor quantity of the food but a worst quality. The arrogance level of the people here is the sky high, and food is just downgraded. These people should be sued for looting public that way. Entire day experience was superb except this restaurant. What a shame.

Worst traditional food ever I had here. This is not fully traditional restaurant and also the taste of the foods are not ethnics. You can see the images, where the dishes are not even traditional.. I would suggest to the owner of the Restaurant to change the Name of the Restaurant or remove the Akhol word from the name...

It's about today .. i went there again for lunch and today i ordered veg thali .And it was very yummmy and very affordable . Veg thali price only 100 . They served rice with 3/4 types of sabji ,Dali ,aloo pitika , lemon ,green chilli and a piece of Onion and for dessert rice kheer and sometimes custard instead of kheer but usually they always add one sweet dish in their thalis !! Staff were very good , gentle , very clean surrounding . One can go their and enjoy their meal happily.

Nice place for traditional lunch and other items. Conference room and other facilities available. Place is good for family gatherings, small party. Etc. Hall is decorated on additional charge basis. Food items are too good. Cost effective and hygenic..

Utterly disappointed with the food quality and te presentation of the food.. also service is slow.

It's a bang for buck,Quality food,Spacious.I will rate it 5 point because of their service they offer at such an affordable prices.Plus their services are faster.My friends & I(5person) ordered a chicken dry fry(full) where normally others provide with 8 pieces while on Nova Akhol we were given 10 piece just to equalize with 2 per piece without any additional charge. If you want spacious and quite calm restaurant this is it.

The food was really good 👍 Even the washroom was really clean.

The worst place to have an Assamese thali. Had like one or two items, that too of bland taste. The daal had excess haldi, and staff's behaviour was not too good either. Previously it was a bit better.

Nice place to hang out especially for couples. Stuff behaviour is good. The foods were also too tasty. Overall I like this place.

One of the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant in my life. I had ordered hyderabadi Biriyani. Which is utterly disgusting quality. They have used lot of food color along with black paper. They are using dip fried Chicken kebab in the biriyani, what a nonsense you are charging 260 for biriyani which is way high but atleast provide the good quality. It seems owner doesn't ever have hyderabadi biriyani or guy who trying to be chef doesn't even know what is call biriyani. 🤔 don't go there guys. Don't recommend to anyone.

The food is very good and yummy but the behaviour of the staffs are very bad. I requested one of them to click a photo but he refused and replied that he had no time. The gents toilet was also occupied for a prolonged time by some of their staff. Both the toilets are occupied for about 10 minutes,i supposed they were bathing there. I requested the owner to provide another toilet to their staff.

Absolutely wonderful RESTRURANT in atmosphere, food quality & quantity and price as well. We 4 friends went there for an after movie lunch and initially had to wait for a few minutes but once the food was served on the table we were like awesomely delicious and wonderful. We ordered Assamese Traditional Chicken Thali and in all sectors they deserve nothing less than 5 STARS

Very good restaurant to go with family and friends.Non-veg starter chilly chicken dry is very testy and for veg starter CCBC .Duck fry is also good enough.Price are also reasonable.I am attaching few pages of the menu and also some of delicious food pic.😁😜

Totally dissatisfied with the food. We ordered chilli paneer and it was more like a whole pot of soup with a few pieces of paneer. The taste was really bad and I won't recommended this place.

"Puja special menu". Quantity of food, quality of food, service everything of low standard. Only thing maintained high was the price of every food item. Worst experience ever. Will never suggest anyone to visit this place.

Ordered chilly chicken and noodles and packed chicken kosha. The worst food I ever had. The chicken was smelling old. It was like when you have boiled or fried the meat and kept in the fridge for some days. I am asking the owner to just taste your food once. Either change your cook or you cannot survive for too long.

I went to this place like so many timesssss... Nd the quality of food nd the staff behaviour is really appreciative..The food quality I say it's both upto the taste nd quantity with price I went there many tymss like everytime there's a plan for fmly eating out, this is the only place we go about..bt the parking situation may arise due to The busy road nd such less availability of parking nearby

Very good food. Affordable price. Felt like home cooked food.
