All
aspects
of
the
property
were
less
than
average.
And
some
aspects
were
just
downright
poor.
We
were
supposed
to
get
a
3
hour
early
checkin
because
of
the
MMT
Black
Privilege,
we
were
still
made
to
wait
1
hour
for
the
handover
of
the
room
-
despite
telling
them
one
day
prior
of
our
3
hour
early
arrival.
The
room
we
got
was
smelling
of
cigarette
smoke.
When
asked
for
a
room
change,
we
were
told
there's
no
other
room
available.
When
we
pushed
the
hotel
staff
we
were
finally
showed
more
rooms,
but
either
they
had
NO
window,
or
were
smelling
of
dampness.
We
had
to
settle
back
for
the
smoke
smelling
room.
The
same
night,
we
asked
the
reception
at
7pm
if
there's
a
buffet
dinner
available
to
which
the
receptionist
said
there
is
no
buffet.
Just
15min
later
when
we
went
to
the
restaurant
to
order
ala
carte,
we
saw
the
entire
buffet
was
ready.
There
was
no
information
available
at
the
reception.
The
next
night
was
again
a
poor
experience,
the
AC
turned
off
by
itself
at
least
thrice
at
night.
Had
to
get
up
again
and
again
to
turn
it
on.
To
add
to
that,
the
hotel
is
located
very
close
to
the
highway
so
there
was
always
the
sound
of
trucks
and
buses
blowing
their
horn
all
night
and
especially
early
morning
when
the
traffic
starts.
Despite
getting
room
service,
the
toilet
paper
wasn't
changed,
and
shower
gel
wasn't
renewed.
Had
to
ask
twice
to
get
that.
While
the
restaurant
staff
and
the
food
was
good,
the
overall
reception
and
response
was
quite
poor.
It
seems
that
The
Fern
is
taking
advantage
of
the
fact
that
there
are
very
limited
options
within
Morbi
and
hence
not
making
an
attempt
to
do
things
better.
