Very educational and beautiful lookout explaining you some features you might have been seeing around during your roadtrip but weren't able to pinpoint what it was exactly. Like salt lakes, gypsum mining, and dynamic dunes. All is explained on information boards at this lookout!

Grigsons Lookout provides 360° views the look out over Jurien Bay, Sandy Cape, Green Head as well as the dunes, salt lakes and farm land that sits inland of the coast. The views themselves aren’t amazing, but it’s a rare opportunity to get up above the coastal scrubland. However, overall the site is a bit tired. The road in feels a bit overgrown, and the 100m of concrete path from the car park to the lookout has seen better days.

Amazing view of the Jurien region from the salt pans to the sea. Plaques explain the history of the region and different plant species etc. Didn’t realise 10% of Western Australia’s native plant species was located in this area. Well worth a stop off if travelling past.

It’s a really interesting spot with great views of the surrounding area. The Grigson farm specialised in breeding horses, many of which were used for the WW1 war effort. The Grigson farm was one of the few farms that had no poisonous plants on the property allowing them to breed the horses without losing them to poisoning. The lookout itself is a 5 min walk from the car park and has a nicely maintained lookout area. There is also what is presumably the original “trig”(triangulation) point still there.

Great look out for a stretch of your legs and to get a full view of the coastline and in land. Great history information about the farm and Grigson family.

Great 360° views around the countryside. Short walk 100 metres up a slight gradient. Well worth the stop

Great vista. Well worth stopping. Infact I think there's only one lookout that is disappointing on the whole of that trip. If you don't stop you won't see anything!

An amazing panoramic vista from this lookout, well worth a visit and it is literally a few hundred metres off Indian Ocean Drive.

This is one hell of a lookout, make sure you stop on the way north! Just be mindful of snakes and stick to the path, we saw 2 snakes on the way back down, and a third at the actual lookout in the stones. The views are SPECTACULAR 🥰🤯 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good little lookout to get great views of the surrounding area. Good little information plaques. Worth a 15 minute stop to stretch your legs on a long drive. No toilets or bins.
