Butter chicken biryani, add egg ($1) and masala chai came up to $15.40 which is very reasonable given the portion. See how small the fork and spoon is in comparison to the plate lol. Sauce is addictive, chicken is tender, egg is delicious. I like everything about this ☺️ The service was also very good and friendly. One small thing is that the place is very cold, so the food gets cold fast. Other than that, everything is awesome. I like that they have a small sink so you can wash your hands and they have napkins as well.

my first time to prata wala, i ordered a new menu item - wrap salad series butter chicken. there is also wrap briyani series. took quite a long while waiting for it to be ready. i could see the staff figuring out how to wrap it behind the clear glass counter. maybe cause it's a new item, i'll give them the benefit of doubt. i thought it would be subway's wrap's size but it's significantly smaller. butter chicken and its accompanying gravy/sauce is definitely sufficient. taste is on the spot, matches the wrap, not too spicy, not too strong. however, the salad (veggies) is meager. i only remember seeing one piece of lettuce and several countable strips of onion and carrot (i presume carrot? cause something orange). surely lose out to subway and/or stuff'd since the price range is about the same. hope they can improve on that, otherwise this wrap idea is a good menu add on. i also ordered hot teh tarik which is on point 👏🏽. restaurant is set up for fast food setting, i don't remember seeing any high chairs for kids though. their tray return is also all the way inside with minimum shelvings, they were already fully stacked with returns when i put my tray there. i thought it kind of discourages people to return their trays, especially when it gets crazy busy and crowded. on a good note, i spotted a really petite albeit thoughtful/useful hand wash basin at another corner of the restaurant.

The butter chicken prata set had prata that seemed stale, obviously the dough was not given enough time to set. Butter chicken used tandoori chicken to cook butter chicken. NTUC frozen prata would have taste better than this. The fish curry is nice.

I tried the deepavali special Dahi puri and chilli chicken briyani. I could say this is so far the best briyani I had. Chilli sauce is not too overpowering, and the curry goes well together with it. Pair it with a crispy pappadum, and acar, the taste is heavenly. I would also like to say thank you to the friendly staff, Naveed, for the service and recommendation of Mango Lassi. It helps to lower the heat from the food and is very delicious too. First time trying out Dahi puri, quite an interesting taste experience for me. Sweet, salty, and a mixture of spicy makes it a well snack for anytime.

Price: $6.30 Masala Thosai: 5/5 Thosai had extremely crispy edges, the potato of the curry was more like a mash, there were carrot, peas and lentils which added a nice crunch. Sambar: 4.5/5 A hearty and moreish sambar containing lentils with some heat from the chillies. Chutney: 4.5/5 Red chutney is flavourful, tangy and tasted tomatoey. White chutney has A LOT of coconut with tiny bits of ginger. Very refreshing. Total score: 14/15

Staffs are very rude. Talk to customers with unwilling face. Foods are expensive too. This 2 items paid $6.40. If the staffs are warming, it’s feel still ok. If your items are expensive, you should have good services right? 🙄

We ordered the butter chicken briyani (pictured; $11.90) and curry chicken briyani ($10.90) and the portion size was so huge that each dish could be shared by 2 persons. The curries were pretty good, though the curry chicken was slightly tough. It was busy on a Sun afternoon but there were still a few seats available. Service was friendly.
