To the management, please take action toward the employee at fish soup/chicken rice stall! Their behavior toward a lady is not acceptable. They are not supposed to ask personal details from customer. I feel uncomfortable when they catcalling while serving a customer!

The humble western stall called “My Humble Chef” should not be underestimated. The Sambal Chicken Chop is amazing! The sambal is as great as your sambal stingray. Give it a try!

A rather small hawker center in Hong Kah area. A bit far from closest MRT station and my accommodation, if I lived closer I might likely to frequent this place more often to grab some takeouts. Most of the menus from the stalls are relatively affordable. The only one that I think a bit more expensive is the Western food stall. I think one of the more unique menus is fried cempedak sold in the snack and drink stall ($3 for 5 pieces). I can't remember any other places in Singapore to get this delicacy. Just beware when consuming them because it still has its big seed inside - you really don't want to get choked! Another notable point is that the place seems to be not so well ventilated despite being an open-air hawker center. One can see the smoke from the kitchens lingering inside it, although the outer part of the place seems to be okay. I think investing in more ceiling fans could've solve it somewhat.

If you like paying $2.50 for an Iced Tea then you might like it here. Kinda pricey but it taste good so that's alright. For smokers don't even think about hanging around here unless u just wanna eat and leave. Food is good and choices are plenty.

The western food stall is delicious. Also the young malay mother was so nice to me. I didn't have cash and was not able to buy a drink as the drinks stall does not accept Paynow. And she offered to buy me a drink. What a kind angel!
