I spent 1n on a business trip. Good location close to the old town. My individual room was ok size, rather comfy bed, not many charging sockets though, some not even working. L’Occitaine products were a nice touch in the bathroom. Breakfast included wasn’t that special IMHO, you can order some hot dishes from a menu, apart from a pretty poor table with usual continental breakfast options. The old palace is beautiful, especially upstairs in the breakfast room, however I didn’t have the feeling to stay in a 4-star hotel (more a 3).

We were excited about the quirky looks and personality of this place, and we generally prefer finding and staying at hidden gems. Based on reviews and pictures this seemed great and we booked a 3 night stay. Sadly our room left us rather disappointed. Multiple non-working electrical sockets, eh maybe not the worst. However we experienced a moldy shower, and water bubbling up in our shower drain when other room would use their sink or shower, along with loud sounds from other people using any kind of water. We ended up checking out early and spent or remaining two days at another hotel. The staff were friendly and offered the option of changing rooms and attempted to resolve the issue. While appreciated, our experience left us just wanting to go somewhere else.

We enjoyed our stay at Shakespeare. We expected a little bit more of the room. We found that shower was inconvenient to use for us. But other than that everything was great. Service was good and friendly. Breakfast don't expect typical Swedish buffet. It's an order type of breakfast were you order drinks, egg dish and dessert. We actually quite enjoyed this setting as it was different from the usual and dishes were tasty. Location is right were needed and there is free parking. Great experience!

Beautiful & a bit shabby hotel with a charismatic room atmosphere. Absolutely recommended to the travelers with dogs and by car. Rarely found friendliness, allowing to bring 🐕🐕‍🦺🦮 to the breakfast room. We loved that the hotel has its parking yard. Sadly, the old library room is adapted and only opened for the breakfast. We still recall the coziness of the library in the evenings in the old times: with a cup of tea and a book straight from the shelf, or whisky 🥃 and a cigar. Otherwise, the hotel can become addictive because all rooms are different as dedicated to the style of various writers. It is quite nice to stay in a different room each time of a visit.

Killer breakfast. The second amazing I have ever had in my life (the first was served in a 5-star hotel). They serve 2 great plates, freshly squizzed orange or grapefruit juice and coffee included to the room price. Staff was super kind and super helpful. They have given me an extra heater because I was cold. The standart room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Great value for money. Totally recommend for Vilnius trip.

It was our second stay here and we are planning to come back in a week again. Place is in the center of the Old City, closed to everything. Rooms are well decorated and clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is 10 from 10.

Alles 1A wirkliches tolles Personal.

Beautiful baroque style hotel located in the heart of the old town. The service was friendly and professional. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The room was a bit dark for us. The a la carte breakfast and service was an experience in itself, we liked it! ❤️

You are paying more than 100 EU for night but you have terrible internet connection and no refrigirator. The breakfast is very good.

I stayed in a room called Aristotle!! It was a very comfortable room with a cute atmosphere like an attic room. You can order breakfast from many menus, and all of them were delicious and I was very satisfied. Great location!! I'll stay again next time!

Beautiful hotel with a perfect location in the old town. The rooms bear the names of famous personalities instead of numbers and are furnished in a very nostalgic style with great attention to detail. It is quiet and due to its location in a side street, you don't notice much of the hustle and bustle of the old town. The room itself was clean and, despite its nostalgic charm, very well maintained. The heating in the room and the underfloor heating in the bathroom made it very pleasantly warm. The breakfast is also excellent, there are different types of bread, fruit etc. from a small buffet, the rest of the breakfast is à la carte. Definitely a recommendation if you want to spend a few days exploring the city.

No good heating. It was cold room. It is not worthy to spend 110 euros for this place.

We had an amazing stay in the heart of old town. The hotel is unique and rooms are comfortable. Great hospitality and excellent breakfast. They have smalm TV sets and limited channels, but we didn't care as you don't come to Vilnius to watch TV! The bathroom floor was heated which should be very nice in colder months. Loved the neighborhood and the free parking!

I've been here 7 years ago with my wife and the atmosphere is still the same. Quite, peaceful and romantic. Nice room with "at home" feeling. Top restaurant and breakfast. Kitchen open from 10 to 24 whole days. Located in the heart of old Vilnius city.

Been here many many times amazing preety period hotel or should I sadly say bed and breakfast, this hotel apart from breakfast offers nothing anymore, they used to and can say at that time was amazing, staff are great, breakfast is in abundance they also have a lovely entertaining and dining area but after breakfast its locked down via cctv, the owner is failing to offer this service, which is a opportunity lost, so there is no service to their guests which is a shame, if you want to eat or drink in the evening you have to venture out to another hotel or be confined to your room, the rooms are looking tired fridges in the room don't work well and are very dated, as you have to buy your own drinks from the shop you cannot chill them in your room, the air con unit does not work as the unit indicates filters are dirty so had a stuffy hot room to deal with, tv has very few channels so with regret its a good bye Shakespeare, should you choose to offer the services like all the other hotels do let me know and we shall return, Narutus looks amazing and similar price

Great location. A bit cold in the rooms to my taste - I needed to ask for an extra blanket. Heated floors in the bathroom is a huge bonus.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Shakespeare. We were in the Hemingway room, which was a nice size for two people with a king-sized bed, desk, chair, TV, two armchairs, a small table, and a wardrobe. And the view! Our room faced the famous St. Anne's church and Bernadine Complex so it was fantastic sitting in one of the armchairs to read or lying in bed with that to look at. There was some street noise and some dance music audible on Friday night so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, but overall very quiet. Service was exceptional from the concierges to the breakfast staff. Breakfast is served in the restaurant downstairs and is a la carte. Everything we tried was delicious. We especially loved the scotch pancakes and the omelets. The building itself is old and used to be a family palace. From there you can walk to most of the major attractions. The main bus and train stations are about 25 minutes away and from there you can take day trips to Kaunas and Trakai (highly recommend!) Would absolutely stay there again.
