I would like to write about how I found the treatment there, but I wait in vain for an appointment. By this I don't mean that the outpatient clinic is so in demand that I simply can't get an appointment, but rather that the employees there simply refuse to answer the phone. No matter what time you call, no one will ever have mercy on you to pick up the phone. This is more than annoying and apparently already a known problem.

I can only confirm all the impossible and inhumane behavior here. I went there with extremely sharp heart pain and stroke symptoms, only to be told that I would have to wait an extremely long time while my whole body convulsed and dissolved. PLEASE find another clinic if you value your health.

Amyloidosis Center at UKHD..Internal Medicine. It doesn't get any better. Get an appointment within 48 hours. A week later we were allowed to show up at 10 a.m. and all kinds of tests started immediately. Both companions were allowed to go with them because the doctor informed the gate that this was necessary. Staff like the professor, senior doctor, and all 6 test stations were super friendly. At 3 p.m. we were able to leave the UKHD towards Duisburg. We will visit the Amyloidosis Center again at any time, you will immediately feel like you are in the right place. Even as statutory health insurance patients... 🥇👍

Thyroid examination: I went to Heidelberg especially because of Hashimoto's because I was convinced that I could be helped and that I would be in good hands here, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I was examined by a very young assistant doctor who didn't seem experienced to me. Unfortunately not satisfactory. Blood was taken, which is crucial and extremely important in this examination and ultimately the report said: No blood sample arrived at the laboratory. This shows great sloppiness in the department. The ladies in the lab only talked privately, so it shouldn't be surprising that this came out of it. So I can't recommend this department of the "University HD, sounds quite reliable". I assessed the medical treatment here and not the availability by telephone. Unfortunately you have to give at least 1 star, otherwise you can't post it, but understandably I wouldn't give it a star.

Very long walk from the parking lot/house to the practice room. Despite an appointment, there is always a wait. Super friendly doctors and nurses. Parking options are far too expensive and since the switch to a different parking space, operators have to pay even for severely disabled people and then severely disabled parking spaces are not even checked, there are ALWAYS unauthorized ones.

Lady at the gate on the ground floor was very polite. However, in the endocrenology outpatient clinic there was a greeting that would make you want to go home again - snippy and impudent. Open conversations with and about various patients in front of around 18 other patients in the waiting area. 4 hour waiting time. Very poorly organized with an appointment lead time of almost 1 year. The doctor was very attentive and polite, but unfortunately there was a language barrier which led to misunderstandings. Overall, I am satisfied with her treatment. During my treatment I was sent for an ultrasound where I waited again for over an hour because there is only 1 device for the entire outpatient department?!? can this be??? Super dissatisfied with the whole thing. It seems as if most employees here do not see themselves as service providers but as if they are doing someone a free favor. Very unfortunate. However, you still have to point out the lady taking the blood - super quick, super polite, super sensitive and very professional. Good Corona management - large waiting area with enough distancing + lots of sterilium dispensers -> everyone also wore a face mask

Complete disaster. I have a private health insurance and received an appointment at the beginning of November. I received at least one call a week in advance that the appointment couldn't take place because all the doctors were on vacation. New appointment now in January was canceled by an unfriendly, aggressive person because the doctors were ill and postponed to February. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the doctors yet. Let's wait and see if I can write my review even more positively once the appointment has taken place. No planning and organization.

(Translated by Google) At night, the station feels like a village tavern. One carer tells a joke that feels like 95 dB and five others laugh out loud, then the next one comes up. It goes on like this all night, the only thing missing is the sound of billiard balls and beer mugs. And woe betide you press the button. Even at 42 ° you get a very similar lecture.

With the best will in the world, I don't have enough time to write a detailed review here because I don't even know where to start. Absolutely incompetent staff from the telephone service to reception to the doctor who “treated” me. She barely spoke any German and despite the findings my specialist had already brought with her, she didn't find a single one of my 5 thyroid nodules on the X-ray that she did herself. I have never experienced anything like it. I prefer to send the detailed assessment directly to the medical association as a complaint. It's a shame that the "doctor" didn't even wear a name tag. Very clever if you already know that you are in the wrong job.

Had an appointment in August. This was done quickly, but there was a long wait on site. As we proceeded further, the language barrier with the doctor came into play. I understood little. I wasn't examined at all, just questioned. Blood sample, 24 hour urine test and that was it. Waited weeks for a report. Friendly and nice looks different. I'm still waiting for reports today. Waited over 2 months for an appointment in nuclear medicine alone. Which has been postponed three times. I once had to travel 45km for free. Very annoying. Now I'm waiting for a report again. Course of illness since December 19 until today no clear findings. Problem unchanged for 1 year. I am very disappointed, you would expect more from such a huge clinic.

I was diagnosed with …… in the emergency room. A further examination revealed a ……….., whereupon appropriate medication and further examinations were carried out, as well as my inpatient admission. The doctors who examined me all made an extremely competent and very professional impression to me. Even though there are staff shortages in nursing at the Heidelberg University Hospital, I received very good care at all times from every shift team! I would like to thank you again for this! It is finally time to recognize the extremely important work of these dedicated employees and to improve the conditions for them so that their motivation is not based largely on the desire to spend their professional lives caring for us patients! Sooner or later we will all have to use your services!

Ich fühle mich hier gut aufgehoben, sehr nette Ärzte, die sich Zeit nehmen. Man fühlt sich nicht wie eine Nummer.
