We had ordered one vegetarian pizza and one pasta. For this, they took more than 1.5 hours. We were agitated. The response from the waiters is slow. Now after waiting for 1.5 hours, we were expecting the food to be like really good. But it was the exact opposite. The food wasn't good. Our pizza had pepperoni on it. We asked for a replacement, although we got the pizza early, none of our specifications were followed. The pasta tasted good but it had just too much oil. Ambience was really good. If you have a lot of time on your hand, then you can visit this place for nice relaxing evening. But only if you have alot of time.

Great pizza in a great location one block from the market place and with some other bars around. The pizzas are huge but very thin, so despite the large size it's ok to have one for yourself but it's also possible to share one and have different toppings on each side. I can recommend the pizza Salsiccia Piccante but there are many options that all sound really good, even a bunch of vegetarian ones. It was very crowded when we got there so every interaction with the waiter took a little bit longer than we hoped but still definitely coming back here when in the area. You can't directly park there but public garages are not far away and the subway is one block away.

Extremely busy. We came to restaurant at 1:45 and our order came at 4:00 pm. They should increase the staff. There were multiple waitress serving us. Our main one was very nice and gentle. We could understand the pressure so we and our kids waited patiently. There was another one who just came and banged the plates on our table. We had to ask what dish this was and who it belonged to.

Everything was horrible! I am struggling to understand why there are so many people every night and so many reviews. The pizza was so spicy I could not feel any ingredients. My husband was disappointed with his salami pizza too. The juice was watery, so I wonder how it is possible to fool people around like that and take money for such low-quality food. The service didn’t save the situation- the waitress could not recommend any wine at all. Never back.

Atmosphere and interior 5 stars. The food is usually quite okay, but also nothing special. I had the risotto and can definitely not recommend it as it was very slushy and more like a soup. The pizzas were good though, especially the option to mix 2 different types. Service was also okay.

My Friend and I went there for lunch during the month of August (end of August), the weather was sunny nice and warm. There was hardly any traffic in the Restaurant during the time we arrived and for the duration of our stay. Ordering the food and drinks was a challenge at first because the weiteresse was from eastern Europe and we were unable to communicate our orders to her in any language (German or English), since she spoke only Ukrainian or something like that. Our Beer came fast, but our food took 52 minutes to make it to our table. She was not particularly friendly or nice/professional towards us when we asked for our food, I know that the Germans are suffering from shortage in service personals in the hotel and restaurant business, but I, as a paying customer should not suffer under it. The place is ok and I see it full of people on Friday/Saturday evening, but business is business, this is not a nice place where you are served at, this is a place where you are processed. Fix it please.

Everything is good about the place, however make sure you don't go there in peak hours. Losteria Hamburg, Kiel, Berlin, Dortmund are way better in terms of service. Karlsruhe needs to step up the service game.

The food is good, but be prepared to wait for quite some time. I've been there two times, the first time I waited for 30 minutes until a waiter first came to my table. To be fair the place was extremely crowded that time. For my second visit I intentionally picked a time when it was not too busy. While the initial service was nice I still waited for about 40 minutes until my food arrived.

The pizza is huge and really thin which tastes really, really good. Marko the waiter was attentive and super nice! We will come back :)

The food here is amazing. First time I have tried Calzone and I absolutely love it. Staffs are very sweet. Absolutely loving this place and the food ❤️😊 .

The biggest pizza ever received! Very tasty. The inside is cozy and the decoration and music is good. Staff a bit overwhelmed and not too friendly but very busy so cannot really blame them.

I've heard great things about L'Osteria Karlsruhe, and they did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, with the pasta cooked to perfection and the sauce full of flavor. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a classic Italian eatery, with red and white checkered tablecloths and a cozy ambiance.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Karlsruhe, which is surprising since it is a chain. Food is quite good (not incredible but better in comparison to other places around town) and service is usually very nice. Downside is that the food can take a really long time to come so you better not come in a hurry or feeling aggressively hungry

Service was extremely slow, they forgot part of the order and also forgot to bring the bill upon asking twice. After this, we didn’t feel like tipping but they added 10% by default. Food was okay, lacked a bit of salt. Otherwise all right

Service with a smile and great tasting food with an open view of the kitchen. They have a wonderful selection of alcoholic and NON-alcoholic drinks (of which I enjoyed very much). The appetizer and main course were both fantastic. I especially enjoyed the view of the kitchen. You can see everything is prepared authentically. The ingredients had a fresh taste with crisp tomatoes. A prior review mentioned the restrooms are a must see, and yes I can verify the restroom quality is top notch. You can pay with cash or card here. My server was friendly, inviting, and accommodating.

We went there for a company outing. They easily managed to accommodate our group of 15+ people and the service was stellar. We all went for their pizza and each one was gargantuan. The toppings were plenty tasty and the base thin and crunchy. It was a great evening in a great (and very convenient) location - highly recommended if you're looking for tasty pizza in Karlsruhe!

It is a relatively cheap place for dinner. Pizzas are quite tasty. The pasta is a bit overcooked, at least the one we ordered. What I found weird is the way they handle reservations, you still have to kind of wait which makes me think they overbook the service by a lot. Other than that they are relatively fast serving the meals and taking notes.

Best italy restaurant in Karlsruhe they have the biggest Pizza and the prices are not that high.

The food we had was awesome! Pizza & pasta 100% recommended. Tasty, fresh, and good portions. The place was a little crowded but the place is cozy and the staff is friendly. Good prices, not too expensive.

We ordered the bbq chicken pizza along with the special bowl salad 🥗. Ohh god be prepared to see the gigantic size of the pizza to everyone's delight it does justice with taste too up to a great extent. The only issue would be the waiting period as after u order they say that one needs to wait till 20 mins. But trust me you won't regret the waiting period.

We loved the enormous, thin sliced pizza. The spaghetti carbonara we're on point. And the mango sorbet was a perfect companion for the chocolate souffle.

Was there with some friends who can’t speak German. Asked the already very rude waiter for a menu that never came. My friend ordered a water that also never came. The waiter was so mean without any reason, from the beginning. By the end he insinuated but quite directly that we have to tip him, and served the card reader with a window for tips to each of us. The food is good and the portions are very generous, only reason for 3 stars, and I know the other waiters to be really nice and friendly, but won’t be coming back if that waiter is there.

Went there for lunch and beer. After 20 min seated with several waitress passing by and not paying attention, we left. If to get the order for drinks 20 min (or more), I don't want to imagine how long will take to order or get the food. Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
