Very nice, traditional German cuisine restaurant on the west side of Cologne, easily reachable by car and public transportation. There is an ample choice of tasty dishes, especially game dishes right now. My choice was very good, and it was served with Spätzle and a brown gravy. The Cologne Kölsch beer tasted very good as an accompaniment. The service was great and fast, despite the restaurant being quite full.

Great beer, good food and considering there was Iron Maiden concert today ot was very crowded. But still the service was very satisfactory and waiters actual had genuine attitude for customer service.

Very impressed, what I, as a British person, would expect from a German beer Hall. Great beers kept being brought and the Weiner Schnitzel was superb. Would highly recommend and would definitely go again if in Cologne.

The environment is nice, as the staff. The Schnitzel wasn't crispy, but it tasted very good and the pommes were a little bit over fried. The prices are ok and the beer was very good. The main issue was the Schweinshaxe, because it was very dry.

Fast service and you have always a glass of Kölsch infront of you. The menu and the food around me look good. I just had a quick dinner, but will try next time one of the daily specials.

Very good service. We went for mussels but they didn't have any. My schweinhaxe was good but my friend's dish was undercooked. I don't go out for German food much in Köln and will have to find some other place to eat

Very friendly and traditional brauhaus. They do speak English, but much better to speak German!! They are very patient if you're terrible at the language! Just try! Huge selection of meals with several local Köln dishes thrown in there. Monthly themed specials which are usually great also.

Typical German restaurant/brewery. It takes you straight into the Kölsch Culture. Kölsch waiters, which means you have to prepare to be spoken in German, in a very direct, sometimes almost rude way, way that represents the Kölsch Restaurants. Really tasty food, and very reasonable prices.

Not many vegetarian options and a little expensive for what it is. Friendly enough staff and busy atmosphere.

The worst part of my trip to Germany. I went for a drink with 2 of my friends, and one of us decided not to have a beer, much to the dismay of the waiter. The staff there proceeded to talk about me and my friends in German, even speaking about us to other customers. Little did they know one of my friends speaks German and lives in the country, so she understood exactly what they were saying. I would not recommend this place, as the staff who work there are not welcoming in the slightest.
