The hamburgers were pretty nice and i will definetly go back, they have a wide variety of burgers including nice vegan choices. The place inside is rather small but cozy, they have more space in the outside part for larger groups.

Liked their Bruno's Burger but the Brunch burger more! Nice ambience to go with friends and enjoy some real burgers. Will go back if I come back to Köln! 😊

Had the Kahuna Burger. Quite good, especially the sauce. Didn't like the texture of a pineapple slice on a burger but that's maybe just a personal preference. Would get a different burger next time, quality of the beef was good.

Really nice restaurant to have a quick hamburger! They look really delicious and actually they are. My choice which was a piece of big cheese with apple it was an interesting combination but the cheese was taking all the flavor.

Open quite late. We landed in Cologne at about 8.30pm and were in desperate need of some grub. Some of the places near our hotel had stopped serving food, but Freddy Schilling and their wide variety of delicious burgers came to the rescue. I went for the Big Kahuna which contained a slice of pineapple. It tasted amazing! Also, the portion of sweet potato fries was very generous. Definitely recommend.

The best gluten free burger ever

OK burgers, very salty chips. Price OK, but burgers don't come with chips as standard. I wasn't told this, just happened to ask. A number in our group were caught out by this. The veggie patty wasn't very tasteful, but same price as meat. Ordering at the bar is super inconvenient, especially as there was only one person taking orders and they—as other reviewers found—were hardly that helpful. Buying a drink was very difficult: they didn't seen to understand the concept, even questioning, "You have to pay, you know?" I did know, needless to say. It was a tasty drink, though! On the plus side, the food came quickly. We were a group of about 12 and hasn't reserved in advance.

The way this store works is very unclear. You have to order at the counter and give them your name. When the order is ready, they shout out your name and bring it to you. So far so inconvenient. The real problem is the staff. The guy at the register was very unfriendly. It was near impossible to get a waiters attention. Only the one lady working there was friendly and asked how or meal was / if we needed anything. The vegetarian petty was okay. You have to like beans tho. The pommes were very very salty but tolerable. At least they were nice and cross. I'd recommend finding another business, especially for the price. It's basically McDonalds service at twice the cost.

Delicious burgers! Loved their fries combo with a perfect amount of hot peppers. Accidentally got a veggie patty in my order but was supper surprised at how delicious it was. Try the big kahuna burger! Super friendly staff 👍

Lots of options, menu available online in both English and German (there's a QR code at each table) which is a nice touch. Generally quick to order with drinks straight away and the burgers came in around 10 mins. Don't bother paying for a "large" fries because the portions are already huge!

The burgers were nothing special so the price is not really justified. The sweet potato chips were great on the other hand and the homemade ketchup certainly a highlight! I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you are around, grab a portion of the sweet potato Chips with ketchup for the way. You can pass on the burger and save yourself 12€.

We ordered two burgers (Köllerfornia with vegetarian patty and Ziegenpeter with meat) and Freddys Fritten. Unfortunately, we had to wait at least 20min to order plus 1h till they delivered our food. We liked the fries, but the burgers were not worth the long waiting time. It was a rainy Sunday evening and probably they had many online orders. We would have appreciated if they had taken more care of the customers in the restaurant.

There are gluten free options here which is great. The food looks great but wasn't amazing, and also was not served particularly hot. For fast food at a reasonable price, it's handy when in Cologne and you need to dine gluten free.

Great experience. It was a nice Wednesday night. The burger tasted very American, they really nailed the taste of that. If you want an average American burger in Köln, try Freddy Schilling. Lots of tables, and there happened to be some people playing instruments around us, making for a great atmosphere.

This is by far the best burger place in NRW! We live in Düsseldorf, but make a trek to here to get our burger fix. The smash burger is perfect and hits home in all the right places. We have a kid who has celiac so we especially appreciate their gluten-free buns.

Still worth a visit, however not as impeccable as it used to be. Service was borderline rude, pushy for us to finish looking at the menu. Mind you, there was no queue at all at the time of order. Kitchen staff didn't look quite motivated, which might have reflected in the burgers as well. Although the meat is still the best you will find in Cologne and perfectly seasoned, the timing on the cooking was off: The Ziegenpeter was more than medium, the smash burgers not smashed / caramellized enough, with a hint of pink still. The burgers are great nonetheless, as are the fries. Music is obnoxious as in any other burger place. We will definitely be back, hoping the above topics will be incidental, based on our 6/5 experiences of the past.
