Was here three years ago. Just got a chance for review. I had nice experience. Reception staff were friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Good mattress. Breakfast is fabulous. The people who is working for breakfast serving are really nice. It’s close the to the cologne cathedral Dom. Just a minute walk.

Weird decor in the room. Also a lot smaller than any of the photos online! Some of the staff were quite cold. However it was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very average, yet very expensive. It would be cheaper to eat out.

Very good location only 5 minutes from the Cathedral. At arrival a pretty cold welcome that we did not expect from the receptionist and also we were asked to pay city tax despite that on Booking it was clearly saying that taxes and charges are included. On top of it we never got a receipt for this extra amount paid. An extra disadvantage was that for going to our room we had to go outside of the building. The room though was very big and nice, with a view to the cathedral.

We stayed here for 3 nights the location was brilliant so close to the main train station and the cathedral and if you walk through the tunnel close to a local market which is a lot cheaper then the local convent store. The room we stayed in was ok as we don't attend to use the room much there is no kettles in the rooms so if you like a cuppa best bring your own they do have a mini bar in the room no safe to keep your stuff in. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit rubbish, rooms come with a TV but no English channels. We would recommend the breakfast a good selection to choose from.

Immaculately clean, couldn’t fault it for cleanlieness. Modern rooms, comfortable beds and very powerful shower. Staff were nice. Food only available during breakfast so if you’re looking for coffee/ something sweet you won’t be able to get it afterwards. I’d return to the hotel. We had a nice stay!

Convenient location, close to the train station and the cathedral. Some nearby shops only accept cash. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and spacious. Staff is warm and welcoming. Some might consider its being very close to rails would be an issue.

The photos of this place are not accurate in the slightest, it was probably a fairly good hotel 10 years ago but its outdated and very basic. Booked a double room with a double bed and have been put into a twin room that was dirty on arrival. Towels dirty and bathroom smells terrible. The pillows are the worst i have ever had in a hotel. The attitude of the hotel staff is pretty bad too, I was basically told I was wrong despite showing them my booking which clearly says a double room with one double bed. There was nothing they would be able to do as the hotel was full. Not good enough after paying over $4000 for a one week stay. Breakfast has been the only good thing so far. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The hotel is located in a center of Cologne, that is the strongest advantage of it. The service was nice, and helpful. The room didn’t match with the photos the hotel website has. It was really small, the lamps were actually full of dust. Couldn’t really open the window to let some fresh air in. The lift is pretty small, so having more than 2 people in might be uncomfortable.

Situated close to train station and Cathedral. Spacious room. Good breakfast with variety of food. Staff were excellent, definitely went above and beyond for us on our 5 night stay. Very clean. Would stay here again.

Very good location, close to main station and quiet place. Staff is friendly and kind. They let me in the room before checking in time. The room is comfortable but there is no desk.

Very pleasantly surprised, helpful friendly staff at this hotel which is so convenient being only minutes away from Cologne main line station. The room was very comfortable with nice bathroom, comfortable bed and fridge. Only complaint is there was no tea/ coffee making facilities. There was some noise disturbance during the early hours but perhaps only to be expected due to the city centre location. The breakfast was wonderful, buffet style and loads of choice. I would certainly stay here again.
