Unfriendly and unhelpfull staff. During the lockdown you can book through their website and pick it up. When getting there to pick it up I am told that I need a car or a bicycle to pick it up since they do not offer this service otherwise... However it doesnt say that ANYWHERE on their website and her suggestion for me was to "rent a car or bike and come back later". Such a shitshow.

This is a very good super shop useful for day to day requirements of civil,carpentry,painting,gardening and related all the tools available for your needs.

The store has everything that you need but the customer service of the cashier was unacceptable and very rude without doing something wrong. So i would suggest that people who work there to love their job because i am sure there are people who would gladly work with more pleasant way.

You can find almost anything you need for you house, garden or even a smal hobby here. Im sure coming back here more often.

Seperately segregated sections where vaccinated/tested and non vaccinated people are allowed.

The staff so, so friendly and helpfully and everything you can imagine for the houses find it there.

A warehouse store with lots of hardware for home and garden. It's a bit expensier than other options, probably because of the location near Ehrenfeld neighborhood. The parking lot is not as big as the shop, probably very bussy on saturdays.

Amazing always I find what I need here... Very professional and I get all the advise needed to do the things correctly at home.

The store is massive and it has a wide range of products. 🙂 Unfortunately the customer service and support is terrible. 😔 A short time ago, we were leasing out a hammer drill, which didn't go the way we all expected. Upon arriving at the customer center, the waiting times were higher than usual. We've got a brief instruction, paid the deposit and went our way. Unfortunately, we caused a minor damage on the drill (damaged the electrical connector - would be a simple cable replacement in my country and simply that's it, but this is Germany and the German mentality is different). The communication, sarcasm and ALL future denials for any kind of equipment rental were shocking to me. I've never seen a policy like this, which prohibits any future rentals from the company. I looked at the website for any policies like this, didn't find anything regarding rentals, no policies nothing at all. This incident and the denial afterwards seriously delayed our project works within our company. It resulted for us, having to BUY an equipment, which we won't use often at all. Our company does logistics not construction. We bought the hammer drill online, our HQ paid for it online and I had to go to this location for the 3rd time to pick it up. When picking up my purchase the sales women asks me with sarcasm, can she help me with anything else? Well no, I had enough of this. At least 3 times already in the store, first the rental, second time the explanations, third time the purchase pickup. Really bad experience and don't wish this hassle to anyone. In the end, partially due to this situation, my corporate trip had to be extended, which resulted in additional costs. Unfortunately with the extended trip, we still failed to finish our corporate project. Therefore we must-have another corporate trip to Cologne in the future.

A decent DIY store with with pretty much everything you would need for home improvement projects and also some professional work. A good range of products and the prices are competitive too. I partially enjoy the cafe in this store and they also have a nice garden section. It can sometimes be a little challenging to find somebody to talk to if you need some assistance, but the staff always are friendly.

Convenient inner-city location on Gürtel, well stocked, friendly staff

The workers are very rude, they shout at guests and give orders with fingers like if the customers are slaves!! And they don't even help or answer a single question. And the customer service via the phone never answer. One star is too much!

Great hardware store. I went in for a nice piece of timber to build a coffee table and left happily. Asked a worker where I could find Holzfüller but they told me they didn't have time for me. Otherwise I good experience

Bauhaus is dealing in articles like household hardwares, paints, electrical, bathroom accessories, glasses for doors and the impliments required to fit them etc in one section and in another section agricultural implements, bonsai, many other plants like decorative flowers, cactus etc.
