Warm, chatty, friendly, welcoming, and vibrant. domicil was certainly the place where the party was at on Museum Nacht in Dortmund this year!

First of all it hard to order a drink on a table ...and in summer no cooling , and 2nd the bartender was soo rude when I asked for a last drink at 11:50pm and they closed at 12 midnight she said ' she don't care' it closed for them...I won't ever go there and would avoid anyone I know ever go to this place.

Delightful Jazz on Monday evenings. Upstairs bar is a bit small and it gets very crowded.

Good place to hang out and drink. You can also enjoy live music which is also enjoyable. The service is lil bit slow because of the lack of staff.

Love Domicil, beautiful ambience, descent crowd, awesome live music. I didn't visit this place since long, but once I had been, and it became regular. It's warm and never felt that I am a foreigner there. Highly recommended venue, if some one is looking for live music with cocktails. Polite staff. Would always miss this place. Most of the Mondays have free live music. Live musicevents on other days with entry fees , which is worth for sure. Drinks not included in entry fees so buy your drink at the bar. A room to put on your jackets at mostly 1 euro which is reasonable. When I was new to this bar , the staff helped me every time. Above all lovely and descent visitors here makes it the best venue. Must visit. Not to alcohol, but addicted to Domicil.

One of the best lounge cultural places in Dortmund. They have many different events I super recommend it if you want a lounge, bar, chill but also high end, cult place to go.

It's a good local place for live music. Two things that standout though - lack of seating and a pricey menu (with only two bar food options). If you like the style of music and small ambience, it's a good place when free!

Not just by my personal opinion, but according to the renowned jazz music magazine Down Beat as well, one of the best jazz venues in the world. Definitely the best bar in the city with excellent drinks, a cozy atmosphere, and new specials every other week.

Good vibes , friendly service, delitious and smooth gins/tonics. A rather diverse selection of alcohol free drinks. Price is adequate for it's location just around the corner from Kampestr. Station. Recommend trying the "London Mule".

Chill loungy bar downstairs and stage and concert space upstairs. Good music events that take place regularly. Prices are fair for a nicer place to head out to in Dortmund

Great Jazz club! I have been to this place several times. However, something really disappointing happened last night. I took a photo of the stage before performance. A security guard came to me and reminded me not to take video. Nothing wrong with this. What made me very uncomfortable is that the guard said "don't do your China video". During the performance, I checked my messages on my phone. That guard came to me again and said "don't do that. don't take photos." I was not the only one who used phone during the performance and he did not go to these people. Obviously that guard was so mean to me just because I have a Asian face. In the end, this is a great place for live jazz music except that racist security guard.
