Bonner Stadtgeschichte hautnah erleben, das bietet das StadtMuseum Bonn. Die Entwicklung Bonns beginnend als Römersiedlung bis heute wird liebevoll dargestellt und erlebbar gemacht. Literatur, Musik, Politik, Kunst; ein toll ausgestattetes Museum mit unglaublich vielen Sammelstücken der verschiedenen Epochen. Dazu super-freundliche Mitarbeiter! Dieses Museum verdient definitiv mehr Aufmerksamkeit und Publicity. Und passendere Räumlichkeiten, die dem Thema gerecht werden.

It is a beautiful historical museum of Bonn which has collections from Roman reigns to world war two.

They'll prepare delicous great sandwiches for you. Had a nice talk with them. It's like a short vacation to Italy and you don't want to leave!

Preety good. Had old history related to Bonn, relics since Roman empire and envasions. Kind of quite not so many visitor. For students the entry fee has a discount and cost around 1,30€.

Two floors, thoughtfully curated. Giving high marks because it's worth going to get a sense of Bonn's real history (from items acquired from Bonn residents' homes and businesses). And it's free entry! We didn't have enough time, but allow at least an hour; more if you read German. Two lovely girls oversaw each floor. We don't read or speak German, so we were slightly lost finding entry as it is through a dim lit cafe, then heavy glass doors into a lobby-lift area and up to the next floor. I see there are works in progress to take the museum to the next level..English signage maybe, some age-appropriate music playing in each room to cut the silence, more photos..? Nicely done
