Forest and Wildpark Rolandseck

Park β€’ Wildlife park

😐 Nice place for a stop with the kids. But in the Netherlands such a place would be free to visit. Goats, alpacas and dear are all walking around in big areas. At the entry food for some animals is for sale. Obviously on more busy days the animals will be less hungry. So don't wait to long with feed... People often mention animals, kids, park, animal,

Nice place to treck and feed animals. My six year old daughter enjoyed our weekend. There is a playground for kids and kids alike. Trampoline and zipline are available for kids to enjoy. Tables with benches and benches are available for resting and to have a small picnic with families and friends. Toilets for male and female are available as well. Small store that sells snacks and ice-cream. Make sure to bring cash as they do not accept card payments as well for the entrance. I have paid 4.50 eur for adult and for my daughter 3.50 eur. It is ok for the view and the scenery the park offered. I am not sure how to ho there by bus, because we went there by car, they have a lot of parking spaces, we are just lucky we have parked in the place just right outside the park.

Not impressive I would say for my 22 months toddler. To climb up there is not a pleasant journey for us family. Not a bicyle or stroller friendly. The track is very dangerous. One could fall down the hill and vanish. Altho he can already walk but most of the time he has to explore to find the animal besides under our strict supervision. The animal is not many only Alpaca, bambi and goats roaming wildly. He loves stroking the Alpacas. Other than that they do have donkeys, sheeps, rabbits, Wildboar, wild deer which is on the other side of the hill and horses. This place is huge and challenging track. Pregnant women, unfit person, elderly people might not suitable for this place. Tips: travel with your own car, prepare some entrance fee (I think around €4.50 for adult), bring your own food and sanitizer too, animal food can be purchase at the enterance.

Such a nice wild park to visit with kids. I can definitely tell that wild animals are very well cared. Very clean and well organized especially for kids who loves animals! One thing to consider! It's very hilly so be ready for it.

Incredible!! Walking through the forest and having wildlife approach you was wonderful!! Everything is well maintained and the animals seem well fed and had a lot of space to roam.

We drove over an hour with the kids to walk around the park. After buying tickets inside we met visitors who reported that there was an aggressive animal with horns in the park and it could be a danger to children. We decided to leave the park and asked for our ticket refund because we had not been warned about aggressive animals and danger. We were denied a refund. Wasted time and money. The cashier sells tickets and doesn't tell you there will be an aggressive animal with horns running around. Don't go there.

Excellent activity for all ages. The park is quite big with many different animals, most of which can be petted and fed. It also features multiple views over the Rhine river valley. Entry fee and pet food is very inexpensive.

The place is very pleasant with lots of free area to have a picknick. The few animals roam free which is great. Unfortunately the place has seen better days and could use a bit of a refresher. It is also quite busy on weekends. Payment at the cashier from the 90s only in cash :(

Kudos for trying to do something positive for the planet but I found the food to be unexceptional. And the "hunting dog training" demonstration was more of a simple obedience training.

Cool place for the kids. The playground is fantastic and feeding the animals are a lot of fun. It's also a nice scenic walk. Admission isn't expensive and the feed they sell is also cheap.
