I've had an excellent time at Stayery - it's the perfect base to search for a flat when first arriving in Berlin. Shortening my stay after i found one was no issue and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

I was very pleased. Even without reception, check-in was absolutely uncomplicated for those who arrived in the 21st century. I was there with 2 small kids and didn't need breakfast. There was also a small kitchenette in my room, which would have made it possible to self-cater. Extra requests were addressed very quickly and satisfactorily. Stay as you are and keep it up :)

I honestly loved my stay. Except for one caveat, hence the 4 stars. First, close to Ostkreuz is about as good a location as you'll ever get in Berlin, easy access to the city centre, anyplace along the circle line (Ringbahn), or to the airport. Booking and communication was great. They are available for texting on WhatsApp, which is helpful if you are traveling and occasionally have data (via wifi/WLAN), but not calling or SMS texting. The room is spacious and clean. I can believe the cleanliness because it is also obviously set up such that the cleaning personnel have an easy time doing their job. No carpeting! Small but functional kitchen, desk for work, comfortable bathroom. The bathroom was the issue for me: As I was checking myself over this morning I got a bit of a shock: my beard is horribly asymmetric! Let's fix this. Fix and fix..... Why is it so bad? How come I didn't notice this before today? It finally dawned on me that this was all just an optical illusion because the bathroom lighting is very offset to the side of the mirror. (Yes I should have understood this faster - I would like to blame having to get up super early to catch my flight.) But by the time I realized this I had butchered my beard enough, I'm now departing clean shaven. Request to management: next time you redo rooms, make sure the bathroom lighting shows your face without any weird sideways shadows. Imagine trying to apply makeup with this lightning! I'll return either way though, this place is great.

The hotel is in a great location, plenty of excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Also there’s 3 grocery stores literally with a block or two. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. It’s great you can be able to do laundry within the hotel if need be. Also it’s a great set up if you are working remote. will definitely be staying here again

Pros It's right next to tram stop. Staff/hosts were nice. I liked that there was a french press for tea in the kitchen. There were snacks for purchase and free tea and coffee in the coworking area. The shower set up was nice. I liked the laundry system. It's operated through an app (WeWash). I think if there was another dryer and some napkins in the laundry room it would make the experience better. Cons It was cold in the coworking space while I were there. There were two or three fire alarm incidents. The laundry machines weren't working for two of our six week stay. I was in a room suitable for two people but the bed was up against the wall with no options for placing something like a phone or drink for the person nearest to the wall.

The Stayery offers perfect accommodation with super-friendly service if you want to explore Friedrichshain and the surrounding area. Normally I prefer hotels with a reception, but everything worked so easily without a reception and as a security you always have the WhatsApp chat, which you can use to be informed in detail beforehand. The room was extremely beautiful and at the same time pragmatically equipped, everything you needed was there, you couldn't use the space better. There is always staff there in the morning and during the day so that you can get everything, they were also extremely friendly. For me, this concept is now an absolutely equivalent alternative to a hotel or even better because it is more contemporary. You can find nice and loving details and hints everywhere, e.g. B. something additional is needed. A perfect stay in Berlin!

We loved the hotel concept. Generously sized room with a small kitchen, great location. We will be back.

Overall a good experience! Great location. The building was quiet. The rooms are clean but a little beat up. The towels are thin and seem cheap. My shower towel came ripped. The pillows are really cheap. They're the same material as the pillows they give on your flight, but larger. The kitchen set up was great. They had all the essentials. Was able to cook something up one of the nights. Lastly, the software on their TV was broken. I had to ask multiple times because they forgot and they never fully fixed it.

Great stay! Comfy room with lots of amenities, great downstairs working area, laundry option, and a self service coffee and kiosk area. Good value too. Appreciate this kind of space! Will be back!

The hotel is fully furnished in a very stylish way. There is also a small kitchenette in the room with all the kitchen appliances that make self-catering possible Tea, coffee and water are also available to get you started, as well as a drinks machine in the lobby. Friendly staff and cleanliness are also commendable. A space in the underground car park opposite can be rented for little money, but must be booked at the hotel before arrival. Check-in services easily on the iPad. All in all a great hotel to feel comfortable in. We recommend

Acquaintances recommended the Stayery for the location we needed for a 9 day visit with our son. It was lovely. The communication was good ahead to time , the check in was easy , the apartment was clean and well laid out. And we were appointed an apartment with air conditioning which helped during a very hot spell. There was easy access to transit and very easy to walk to restaurants and food markets. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had

Room is architecturally furnished 1A. Every cm is clearly thought out. We had a room with a small kitchenette, refrigerator and oven. Great for preparing breakfast or small snacks in the morning. There was a Denn’s Biomark right around the corner. The seating area and bed were comfortable and cozy. Bathroom was spacious. The location was great. Public transport on the doorstep (tram + bus) or just a few minutes walk to Ostkreuz (RB, S, U, tram, bus). Staff was friendly, cool and helpful… Enjoy and have fun 🙌🏼🌸👌

Super organized and friendly service from many of the entire staff. The room was very quiet and clean, could have given it a little more character with pictures and the window to the bathroom was an 'interesting' design idea.

Great place to stay, very cute and clean. Cozy common area and washing machines accessible on premises. Great concept and location is perfect.

I would never have thought that you could get a room like an apartment for less than €100. A kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, plates, cutlery... Top bathroom, comfortable bed where you can relax after your trip to Berlin. A kettle and the tea that were there gave a cozy feeling. I definitely had a nice and relaxing evening there. The location right next to the tram stop and 10 minutes from Ostkreuz also suited me perfectly during the trip.

Stayerie Berlin Friedrichshain, category BIGGER. Very clean, very large apartment. Everything you need inside. Great bed. Super friendly staff. All of this at a very good price. We'd love to come back!

Amazing hospitality. Merle was super friendly and it was no issue whatsoever to switch rooms. Thank you so much, will definitely recommand to friends!

Great location, friendly and very supportive staff. Prices for drinks are super fair. Only but big issue: the bed linen smells, blanket and pillows are heavily used already. And so do the fresh towels also smell when they get wet. Something’s wrong with the laundry of the hotel, obviously.

Fantastic experience for a whole month. The staff was always very helpful, the rooms are amazing, location near perfect. You will pay a little more, but there is a great value behind it. I would suggest putting AC to every room (could be warm during the summer).

The nicest staff I have ever come across with. The location is perfect in buzzing Friedrichshain. Room 109 is one of the bests. As much as I can book (as it is really popular) I stay here for my business trips.

Amazing location and great co-working space! They were super friendly and accommodating to our needs, as we stayed for 3 months as long-stays! The location is vibrant with may bars and places to eat, well connected with bus/tram, and a 10 minute walk from the metro (U8) and train (Ostkreuz)

An amazing place to stay in Berlin! I felt very welcomed by the friendly staff member when I arrived, she assisted me on checking in and even offered to give me a hand with my luggage. The room was modern, spacious and extremely clean. The room comes equipped with utensils for 2 peoples, a fridge, hob, microwave and toaster. The bed was very comfortable. The smart TV allows access to YouTube which was great! The free WiFi is fast. The room could get very warm at night, and as my room was facing onto the main street with a tram line directly below it could get loud at times if I kept the window open. I did read other reviews that the staff can supply a fan on request though! This did not detract from my stay at all. Just a heads up! If I'm lucky enough to return to Berlin one day , this is the only place I'd want to stay! Thank you :)

My stay at Stayery was very nice. I felt right at home and the hosts were always kind and helpful. Good location close to several food shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, venues, cinemas, parks…well-connected to several lines of public transport. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Thank you to the Stayery team for making my stay so pleasant!

I really enjoyed my stay. The interior is tasteful - minimalistic and still warm and neat. Everything necessary included. Also very clean. A huge bonus also for how nice everyone was: we had to stay in a hotel since our flat was flooded so we received a discount. So cute! Thank you 🙏🏼

I stayed at Stayery for almost 2 months last year and I still talk about it everyday. It was a perfect apartment with perfect location and wonderful hosts. I even made new friends when I was working in the working space. And Hello to Max who is the nicest host ever! :)

Stayery is THE place to stay in your first months in Berlin. It's very well located, with cozy common spaces, and the apartment is exactly like the pictures from the website. The hosts and staff are so helpful and kind. They are always ready to help you, no matter what. Thank you so much!

I was at the Stayery for four months during my recent move to Berlin. The hosts were always super helpful and having such a great place to live really eased my transition. I would definitely recommend for short or long stays in Berlin.

The other day instead of going home, I get off the tram at Holteistraße and found myself in front of Stayery entrance. I think that said a lot? :) I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-month stay. Stayery staff always went above and beyond to accommodate their guests. They truly embodied hospitality ☀️

I have relocated to Berlin and Stayery was the first place I have been to. I have stayed here for three months. I am grateful I had chose such a great place, everyone working here are so helpful and always approach you with a smily face. I specifically thank to Max, Anja, Kathi for their super energy, smiling faces, endless patience and for all the help. And all the staff that cleaned the room (so sorry couldn't remember their names) it was always spotless. About the people who are thinking to move in; You will have a great staff (read above lol) You will have a cleaning service every week. You will have a tram in front of the building & bus really close & walking distance to s-bahn( 7 min.) Rooms are fancy and you have almost everything you need for cooking. You will also have a very nice working space downstairs. It was really a pleasure to be here thanks to all!

Very nice stay at Stayery Berlin. The hosts are very nice and helpful, they treat you like family 😉. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The chill/play area is nice too with that old but classic Nintendo console game, that brought me back to childhood 🙃. The building is very central too, only a few minutes walk or tram form the Alexanderplatz. If you need to go to berlin and stay a few days, don't Search further, book at Stayery Berlin ! I'll come back one day for sure !

The room was perfect for my needs, but I suggest that the salt seller and the pepper grinder should have salt and pepper corns respectively in them. People don't travel with these food essentials, and Stayery seemed to pride itself on being comprehensive in what it provided. The staff were friendly, helpful and fluent in English. From my room on the first floor I could hear the street but nothing from the rooms around or above me.

i stayed at stayery for about a month while waiting for my apartment lease to start, and I loved it! the location is perfect, within 10 mins from ostkreuz (one of the most useful stations in berlin with lots of connections) and a Ubahn station. The surrounding area had lots of grocery shops and nice restaurants/bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I broke one of the plates while washing up. I would definitely recommend for both short and long term trips!

Stayed for one week. Fantastic hotel located in hip location, in walking distance to lots of delicious restaurants, coffee shops, bio market and public transport. Quick Uber ride to many techno clubs. Hotel and neighborhood felt safe as a solo female traveler (all of Berlin did really). Staff was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Studio room was comfy and had everything I could need. Would definitely stay again next I am in Berlin!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel for six nights. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are stylish (except for the weird window between bathroom and bedroom), check-in was easy and the location is great. We also liked the minishop downstairs. However, there was one major downside – the soundproofing is bad. We could hear pretty much everything the other hotel guests were doing. We understand that no hotel is completely silent, but we didn't expect to be able to hear other people talk, laugh, walking around, opening and closing closet doors, doing dishes (etc.) so well. At daytime this was annoying, at nighttime it was unbearable. Some of the other guests were also quite noisy, shouting and moving furniture around in the middle of the night. This of course isn't the hotel's fault, but it did make our stay unpleasant. Earplugs didn't help much. We actually ended up checking out a day early and switching to another hotel. It's a real bummer, since we really liked all the other aspects of STAYERY. If you are a deep sleeper, we highly recommend this place. People seeking some peace and quiet might want to look elsewhere.

This is a great place to stay. Very easily accessed from the main airport. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. A good sized, immaculately clean room with a really comfortable bed. The kitchen has all the basics and a kettle.

Stylish but also very practical and comfortable apartment. Well equipped, there is everything what You need for short stay. The staff was also very polite and helpful, even though there were no need to contact them.

Excellent experience from start to finish, staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy as described. Common area and amenities were great too 👍🏻 We will surely be back in the future when visiting Berlin.

Amazing place to stay, especially for digital nomads. All you need to be productive while travelling. The rooms are well designed, clean and super comfortable with all equipment you need. The location is excellent, in a hip area or Berlin with tons of restaurants, bars and clubs around as well as boutiques with labels from Berlin. The host was also super nice and helped us to store our luggage! We will definitely be back at Stayery! 🫶🏼 :)

Very comfortable, stylish and really cool hotel. Room was clean, well equipped and we had all that we needed. Located in a place, where you can find lots of food places, bars and cozy restaurants.

  • 5/5 Devin W. 1 year ago on Google
Great hotel overall. Nice rooms. Only areas to improve on IMO is: 1) Card key system has a bug where if you have 2 people in the room and their key stops working (which seems to happen a lot), as soon as you use the kiosk to issue a new key, it renders the other person's previously working key unusable 2) I wish there was a easy way to have someone come clean the room if you want it. I'm fine that they don't do it every day but I wanted new bedding on the 4th day and it would have been nice to just hang a door tag and have them come spruce the place up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Stayery. Checkin was easy (self checkin instructions were provided however a friendly staff member was on hand when we arrived) The apartment is compact but funky and had everything we needed for our stay and is in a great neighbourhood with many public transport options available. The apartment was also (surprisingly) really quiet!

The room was clean. I liked that the floors were not covered with carpet. I was able to stream Netflix from my phone to the room TV which is a strong positive for me. The internet connection was great. Manager was nice and responsive to questions.

Its has nice and modern rooms good for one person. For two- the bed is far too small and you have to clime a wooden step. So we had a very bad rest. There is little privacy at the bathroom due to the glass window, directing to the bed and table. A little tiny kitchen with some equipment dominates the room. About the hotel’s (almost non existing) service: once a week you'll get new towels or when you ask, but then they don’t take the old once. There is no housekeeping within a week, probably you have to ask. Well… At the ground-floor you’ll find a nice common area with a coffee machine and wash machines for you laundry. Breakfast is not available at all. Thats the hotel‘s concept, nice rooms (if your alone) and almost no service. Welcome to happy new world.

Convenient location. There is responsive team. It was nice to relax in the room after a walk in Berlin. Room has all I need for living. There is a comfortable, pleasant lounge.

It's rare for a place to be so clean and thoughtful in every detail. The windows overlooked the road, but overall it was always very quiet and peaceful. The bed was very large and comfortable. All the accessories were of very high quality. You can feel that the place is well thought out and really made for comfort.
