The only forest museum in the town. The condition of it is not that good. But even though one can find many knowledgeable things here. Its a child friendly place. Almost a 15 minutes walk from the market. You can even get a vehicle from the town.

The Forest Museum is probably the only museum in Kalimpong where you'll find the history of kalimpong, the animal skins, the tribal weapons and some amazingly cool facts and astonishing pictures of the same.

Without a doubt, you'll enjoy this location. Deolo hill is where the science centre is situated. Many scientific models are available, and there is also a 6-minute 3D presentation that may be viewed with a separate ticket. The basic park ticket costs around 30 rupees. The cost of paragliding from here is approximately Rs 3500.

A lovely place, best for children and students. Entry fee 40Rs per head. Parking charge 50. You can watch a 6 minute 3D show at rs 50. This show is good for the first time, But if u have already seen a 3D show in kolkata Science city or anywhere, then don't waste money. You can get a beautiful hill view from here.

Honestly speaking, we didn't find this place that interesting. It's fine, if you have kids or else, you can skip the place. The garden outside the science centre is nice though. You can spend some time there.

Don't waste your money, Most of the items are broken/doesn't work. They only upside of this Science Centre is the View and location. Its is situated on the hill so you get a good mountain view. Won't recommend for senior citizens as it's steep (the park outside). Enter ticket/fee was 30/- in December 2021.

Very special location, well maintained museum. Good interactive exhibits, helpful staff. Well curated rooms , outstanding value and quality. Outdoor experiments make the most of the grounds and view on the hill. Must visit . The 3D 10 minute dinosaur film was avoidable and can be frightening for young children.

I have personally visited the science park at kalimpong and I have rated it 4 as an admixture of its scenic beauty alongwith the scientific facts and designs present inside. One can take their kids to enjoy a variety of scientifically designed instruments and equipments all placed at one place and all are based on theorems and principles of physics given by all renowned scientists. The park is also soothing it gives a view of natural beauty and it has got all components of other scientific stuffs with their working principles written on them.

How I wish this place here more attention than it gets. And the government needs to invest in such places. They have got loads and loads of information on animals and wildlife with some amazing facts. Real skins of animals and some disturbing information on our effect on these poor animals. Set on a hill-top, the potential of this place could be felt. However, the lack of maintenance made me sad. So much more could have been done! Many of the instruments were not working. It did not feel like that the managers of the place had much interest. We also got to see a documentary on Kalimpong in the Centre. The 3D glasses were old, the picture quality poor, and the room damp. We want people to be more interested in science. The hilltop was beautiful. I pray that the local government bodies gives more importance to the place. Perhaps build a fully air-conditioned planetarium there? Get all the instruments repaired? Do something!

This place could have been a much better place had it been maintained properly. Many of the scientific visualisations are damaged or not working properly. When you are buying tickets and paying for the parking as well, you won’t expect these many machines to be broken. Otherwise, it was not a bad place to visit.
