I’ve spent here for two hours. Nice place, the fort has a very long history. I would like to recommend you take some tea and sandwiches here. You can grab one of the many benches here and make some picnic here

an amazing place showing the difficult but beautiful history of the Fortress. a lot of exhibits, a fantastic guide (greetings to Mr. Jaroslaw) who talked with commitment about the fights, history, strategy, food of the inhabitants and the army living in the fortress. I highly recommend it, but it's better to call and make an appointment for specific hours. cannon shot? amazing bang, recommend to buy!

Amazing fortress, main route available by yourself or with free guide (some waiting might be required) . Additionally you can visit underground tunnels (guide required) not recommend for people with claustrophobia or weak heart; ) Worth the price!

What an amazing experience. So much intriguing history and what a massive and resilient and versatile constuction. It baffles the mind as to what humans were and are capable of. Cheap entry (compared to other attractions) and amazing views of Klodzko. For history buffs i definitely recommend this attraction.

It is a shame the weather did not justify the use of the drone. The view must be as magnificent as Terezin (Litomerice) or Jablunkov fortresses. Klodzko and Vratislav (present Wroclaw) were established as the original Bohemian outpost of the Premyslids (Czech Royal house), later under the Polish rule and after the Prusian-Hungarian wars this huge fortress was built to protect the Prusian land gains. The fortress is simply an impressive piece of the late baroque idea of fortification.

A really interesting place to visit. Tour guides are well prepared and knowledgeable. The only drawback is small quantities of artifacts from history but this is not the fault of the place. Basically all weapons and available stuff were reused for more modern weapons during 1st and 2nd WW or stolen by Germans or Russians. Definitely worth a visit.

What a large fortress. After paying the entrance fee one can explore the location oneself with a little guidebook that describes 10 places. Unfortunately the labyrinth has Polish language guide only, so we as foreigners did not go there.

Nothing special, but interesting to see. Guided tour in the labyrinth was in Polish only, and the guide was speaking too fast - we understood close to nothing.. And it was very cold inside (as it was underground).

Very interesting historical place! I liked the excursion around the bastions, but in the tunnels was a bit long (Spent a lot of time at one place listening to the guide, it could be difficult)

Great fortress. Standing on the top of the hill. Close to the main square.

Very interesting and worth visiting site. The network of tunnels is impressive and going into a handful of them is really an overwhelming experience. The fortress itself also has its charm and stories "written across a couple of centuries" and ai recommend a guided tour (Polish only).

The most famous, distinctive structure in Klodzko is the huge fortress that towers over the city, taking over the hill known earlier as Fortress Mount. It is definetely of the best preserved examples of fortification systems. Please take a tour with guide. It was really interesting.
