250 steps up, then 10 minutes walking, then another 250 steps to the upper point. Entrance for foreigners is 125 rs.

Really nice waterfall! You can see the end of the waterfall from the road but the real gem is all the way up. This is where you'll get your ticket (100 rupees for non nationals) and then it's a 20 minute hike up.

The Ramboda Oya creates 3 waterfalls within few kilometres in the Ramboda Area. The first waterfall called the Ihala Ramboda Oya Ella (Upper Ramboda Oya Fall) and lies about 1.5 km above the Gampola – Nuwara Eliya Road. Access to this waterfall is through a foot path from the road near the Center Ramboda Oya Ella waterfall. You can just get a glimpse of the top of the waterfall from the main road. The Ramboda Oya Meda Ella ( Center Ramboda Oya /Middle Fall) lies at the Gampola – Nuwara Eliya Road. The road travels just at the bottom of the waterfall just after the new Ramboda Tunnel. This waterfall is 6 meters tall. You can park the vehicle after passing the bridge & feel the awesomeness of this beauty. Highly recommended !

Beautiful Waterfall view. Can bath in the natural pool below which is normally shallow, however risky to bath during Heavy Rainy days.

Ramboda Falls is a well known waterfalls in Sri Lanka, because the beauty as well as can be reached very early. Also you can watch over it by passing in a vehicle. But it is better to stay here while to feel the beauty of the waterfall, it will calm you. But remember to feel the nature only on your eye, please don’t destroy it.

You can visit this place without any tickets and it's on the roadside so easy to watch on the way. There's also a pathway to get close to the waterfall which will give you a much closer and a cooler look. Check out for water levels during rainy seasons.

Our initial plan was to just watch the waterfalls from the roadside. We then decided to hike to the top of the waterfalls. It was nature at its best. Serene, natural and absolutely stunning

At least 500m walking and climbing required to reach the waterfall. Entire walking and Climbing under trees .The walking & climbing path with concret steps and safety fences. You can bath under the water fall . Very shallow water , safe to bath for any age group but careful when walking on rocks as slippery.

It’s besides the main road, and you have some nice photographs of the lower ramboda falls, people used to bath here in the lower falls, yet you need get advise from the neighbours before going to bath. If you want to reach to the top of the waterfall you need to walk around 500m in the pathway besides the bridge.

200 rupees to enter the waterfall site and you will need to climb stairs to reach the top of the waterfall. So worth it !! From the street, you cannot see the top.
