Especially I arranged a birthday party of daughter’s second Birthday in the resort. We arranged Buffet Dinner for 60 guest. The did they provide excellent food and the menus which they provide for the buffet is very affordable and modifiable. Finally Kudos to the entire team VAIKUNDAM Legacy Team for making my Daughter’s birthday most memorable.

A true hidden gem! When it comes to natural experience with minimum or absent human interference, Vaikundam Legacy fits the bill. I was a little anxious when I made the booking directly on their website. The booking process was straightforward with a reasonable cancellation and refund policy for those unexpected circumstances. The nearly century old colonial period cottage is hidden away in the middle of a vast rubber plantation that stretches for miles into the wilderness. The cottage has been decorated to modern standards on the inside, whilst maintaining the colonial architecture exterior. We had booked two rooms, one with a jacuzzi and other one a standard room. Both were spacious, with decent size bathrooms and the smaller room had a nice sit out facing the garden at the back. The property also has a swimming pool which was well maintained. The staff were professional and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. The rubber plantation offers the opportunity to walk and explore nature and we did trek up to the view point within their grounds. It is worth the experience. The food is basic which is prepared on an order only basis apart from breakfast that is a limited variety buffet. However, it was tasty and one cannot complain about it. One can easily get lost in admiring the quietness of the property as there are only 6 rooms and there is no option for non residents to visit the restaurant. Alcohol is not available on site, so for those who enjoy a tipple it is best to prepare in advance. I really liked the serene and tranquil atmosphere which is quite rare to come by. I will definitely visit again later this year. Kudos to the management team. They even posed for a group photo and were willing models for solo shots too.

Had a wonderful experience at this place. The place is very very nice and their hospitality is super. Their service is great, rooms are very clean, food is tasty and the remaining things such as kids activities, swimming pool, cycling, home theatre all are utmost. We loved it. I will suggest this place to others who are seeking a nice stay for two or three days.

Poor hospitality. Small room(pepper) and absolutely no sense of luxury. Very very average quality food. The breakfast was just bad. One of the cleaning staff touched my child's face as he ran ahead of us to the park. We did not want to make a scene there so moved on. Very little privacy as all six rooms face each other. Sit outs are very close to the next room's sit out with no partitions in between. Location is actually not as good some reviews here say. It's basically a rubber plantation and that's it.

One of the great family resort in Tamil Nadu. Rooms are spacious with all necessary amenities. Foods are authentic. Spices and masala flavors suits the weather and our tummies felt great. Friendly room services! They have smiley faces over there. Pool, Trekking, View point, Kids games are worthy experiences. If they have firecamp facility by default for everyone, this would be best trip we ever had so far.

I have stayed here twice. Such a beautiful property inside a rubber plantation. It has something for everyone: cycling, badminton, park, swimming pool, mini theatre, indoor games, few books to read. They have a small waterfalls within the property. They also take you to the top of the hill to get a view of the dam. The staff is very helpful and kind. You get a personalised experience. The chefs are also amazing. The food is good and they also customise if we have any preferences. They have good wifi coverage which makes it perfect for workcation. Neat, clean and secure with excellent hospitality. Highly recommended.

We spent two days at Vaikundam Legacy and were thoroughly enamored with the property. Nestled amidst the serene surroundings of the rubber plantation estate, it offered tranquility and peace. The staff were exceedingly friendly and accommodating, always greeting us with warm smiles. The cuisine was exceptional. I am certain I will revisit this delightful place in the future.

A very exclusive and breathtaking place with a lush greenery all over the estate, with all kind of of flora and some varieties of fauna too. The rooms are spectacular and the scenery is awesome. The cleanliness and perfection that the staff has put into preparing all the amenities such as the room arrangements and customer services is the best I've ever seen. The food is exquisite, and the taste is very excellent and it shows the skill and experience of the chef himself. The sunrise event is the best part about the resort. The view of the sun rising over the mountains at 5am is a very addicting and beautiful sight to see. Overall one of the best vacations of my life easyyy 100

This stay is a gem hidden near Chittar lake. I stayed there with my kid and my parents for 2 nights recently. We had the best time, the place and the service of hotel staff made the stay very memorable. The rooms are in the middle of a lush green rubber plantation. The ppl who work there are extremely courteous and very helpful. Definitely give this place a try.

Vaikundam Legacy hosted our wedding in Jan 2024 and there could not have been a better place for us to tie the knot! We had looked at about a dozen or so places in the region and narrowed down on Vaikundam for its calm and quaint character. The size was perfect for our party of 500 guests. Snuggled in between the high rubber trees, the cottage makes for a perfect retreat for a peaceful getaway. But beyond the picturesqueness, what won my heart was the extraordinary love, care and genuine involvement of the staff there. The dedicated team went the extra mile and worked with us as if it were a wedding in their own family. My heart was full at the end of the 2 days and I would like to thank Dalfin and his team and the management for partnering with us. Our wedding planning was a 6 month journey, and through the planning phase, Dalfin was extremely professional while being kind, helpful and friendly throughout our interaction. The assurance of having a flexible and accommodating team at Vaikundam Legacy allowed us to navigate the intricacies of wedding planning with ease and this was certainly a game changer for us! Dalfin and his team went above and beyond their contractual obligations, showing a remarkable level of flexibility and commitment. I’ve been around a bit and in all my travels, Vaikundam Legacy proves to be the most hospitable resort I have ever stayed at (also sneakily proud that this gem is located in my dear country and in my husband’s little hometown)!! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay or event or both. =) Vaikundam Legacy, you guys brought us so much joy – thanks for making our wedding unforgettable and I hope we can visit again! 🌟

Vaikundam Legacy. Truly a legacy! Such a beautiful place in the middle of a lush rubber plantation in Alancholai. The nearly 100 year old Tharavad was very well preserved and maintained. The rooms were neat and clean and well spaced. The service was top notch and excellent. It has only 6 rooms so there was total peace all around. The restaurant has some good food and the place also has some great amenities such as swimming pool and theater. We went for a jeep ride up the plantation for a sunset view and it was truly humbling and breathtakingly beautiful.

A perfect place located amid rubber plantations. Excellent rooms at very reasonable price. Food is fresh and tasty, almost like home cooked food. There are wonderful trekking spots within the compound. This is an excellent family friendly place.

Perfect vacation spot for families. The service was excellent, rooms are very well kept, food is incredible, and location is homely and beautiful. There are plenty of activities for everyone including outdoor games, a home theater, scenic hikes, biking trails, and more. The resort is located in the plantation, but it is very open and kid friendly while delivering an authentic experience. The surroundings are calm, peaceful, and rejuvenating. The staff are very helpful and ensure that each person gets a personalized experience. There are 6 rooms in the resort, so it’s not too busy and there are plenty of places to relax and destress. The resort is great value for the quality of rooms, food, service, and the amazing views. Wonderful place to escape from the busy city or to just relax with family and friends.

A delayed review of my stay here. We had a great time. The property is well maintained and offers the chance for a variety of activities including outdoor games and also an early morning trip through the estate. They also have an indoor theatre where you can watch movies. The rooms are comfortable and though the property is huge, there are limited number of rooms giving us more privacy. The food was nice. Will definitely visit again.
